"Well, my heart went boom, when I crossed that room and I held her hand in mind. Whoa, we danced through the night, and we held each other tight." I Saw Her Standing There, the Beatles -Marti/Dimi-

I Saw Her Standing There, 2:53

Dimi Davis waves at his childhood friend. She comes over and attacks him with a hug.

"Dimi!"

"Hey, Marti."

"Who'd thought your sister would be a model!"

"Yeah," he grins, "or choose to marry Sheldon Schlepper."

The college freshmen laugh. "How's Queens?"

"Good. What about you? Uh, U of T?"

"I transferred, actually."

"Really?" the youngest Venturi asks. "Where?"

"Queens."

"You're kidding!"

"Nope," he grins. "I heard that someone had an apartment and a need for a roommate."

"Little birdie tell you that?" Marti asks, glaring as Lizzie grins at the pair.

"Ha. No, more like a flock. It seems your stepsister and my sister have been talking again. A lot."

"Are you surprised?"

"Uh, no."

Lizzie drags her date over to the pair. "Come on, guys. You two look silly just standing there. This is your sister's vow renewal, Dimi. It's been nearly five years!"

"Trust me, I know. I was there the first time."

"Do you want me to tell her to come over here?"

Dimi shakes his head quickly. "Wanna dance?"

Marti sighs. "Sure."

"Don't sound so excited," he teases.

"Maybe you don't remember, but this didn't end so well the last time."

"Oh, I remember. Prom was… interesting."

"Derek threatened to kill you."

"Nah," Dimi argues, "he just wanted to scare any boys off from his little sister."

"He's not doing a very good job," Marti whispers conspiratorially, leaning forward to kiss him soundly.

"Horrible."

"Marti!" Derek exclaims from across the room.

"Leave them alone, Derek," Casey scolds.

"Fine."
