Hey lads and lasses, still a live, I'm so sorry for not updating sooner but work was being a female dog lately, ended up doing night shifts till 6 in the morning so when I came back onto my regular hours my body clock was like WTF? But now I'm hopefully back to normal and hopefully going to get updates up quicker, but no promises. Also going to be a right nerd here and say my first story is already longer than the first Harry Potter book, yay! Anyway on with the reading.
Chapter 16 Of Legs and Prophecies
Astrid POV
I felt several emotion at this point in time.
Scared seeing Hiccup fall off Toothless.
Relief to see his body and that he was alive.
Angry at him for doing this stupid and crazy thing, remind myself to punch him when he recovers.
And finally fear, fear that we could still lose him if we don't sort his left leg out. Looking at it I can tell it can't be saved, it was swollen and a mixed color of purple and blue covered it. Obviously it wasn't getting any fresh blood through it meaning the leg will start to decay and if not removed soon, will get infected.
I turn to the others who looked just as worried as I was and knew he needed treatment soon. But we can't go back to Berk, they'll kill us on the spot and not knowing how far away we are from other tribes.
"Guys what are we going to do?" I said starting to panic as I sit next to Hiccups head stroking his messy hair through my fingers, I don't know why but it seems to calm me down, and at this point in time, it seems right to do as I look at my fellow teens for advice, not putting much hope into that one.
Surprisingly, and I mean that literally, Tuffnut came forward and examined Hiccups left leg.
"Looking at it, there's no saving it, looking at how swollen and severed it already is, I will guess it'll go gangrene within about three hours" he said as we all stood there jaws dropped to the ground.
"What?" he says as he looks at us and shrugs.
Fishlegs shook his head to get back to the situation at hand "Okay. Anyway if that's the case then it needs to be removed as soon as possible" I look towards Fishlegs in horror, remove? As in remove Hiccups leg?
I must if shown the horror on my face as Fishlegs looked at me seriously "Astrid if we don't, it'll be worse for him, he could die"
"But if we do it, he could bleed to death!" I argued back, but I knew either way he could die, but his chances would be greater without his mangled leg. But how would he react when he finds out, no not 'if', 'when'. My Hiccup is too stubborn for his own good to allow an injury like this take him, I mean come on; he befriended a Night Fury for Thor's sake.
Still in my thoughts, as are the others, I didn't realize the other dragons were around Toothless until I heard their low growls and roars, like they were discussing something. I wonder what?
My eyes went wide as Toothless, who took major injuries himself from the fall, weakly stood up and slowly limped towards me and Hiccup. Once he is close enough he started sniffing Hiccups injured leg before looking back to the other dragons giving them a nod, I was going to ask what he was doing before he beat me to it.
"Astrid" Toothless lowly growled "Do exactly as I tell you, and we'll have a good chance at saving him" I didn't know what to say at this point. A good chance? Could I be sure that a dragon knows what to do? But as I look into his eyes, the same color as Hiccups, I see that he means it, so silently I nod. If it means saving my boyfriend's life then I would trust Loki himself.
Normal POV
Toothless took this as a sign to carry out his plan, sure he was weak himself, but thanks to being a dragon, he'll heal fast, but his brother is human, healing can take time and knew if the leg didn't come off, he might not make it, sure it would mean sacrificing his left leg, the one he using to control the tail fin, but at this point Toothless didn't care, he wanted Hiccup alive and well.
"Okay first off we need something sharp to do this with" Toothless said as he looked towards everyone for an answer.
Astrid thought about it and smiled as she realized she had the very thing, gently laying Hiccups head on one of the folded up blankets Fishlegs gave her, she walked up toward Stormfly and pulled out her axe from the side of the saddle, gently rubbing her finger over the blade, she was relieved that is was still as sharp as ever. Satisfied that it'll do the job she walks back towards the group and shows the axe to Toothless, to which he nodded in approval.
"Good that's one thing down, the next it we need clean water" Toothless growled as he looks around for answers to which the twins step forward.
"We'll head back to the camp" Tuffnut said as his sister finished off "There's plenty of waterskin's that should do the job" she said as the twins jumped on the necks of their dragon and took off back toward sunstone island.
Again Toothless was satisfied, he knew their camp wasn't too far from dragon island so won't take long for them to come back "Okay now we need a smooth, flat rock to lay Hiccup on"
As if on cue, Meatlug flew off "I'm on it!" she roar as she took off. "Be careful!" Fishlegs shouted as she was out of sight.
Astrid couldn't believe what she was seeing, she never knew dragons could be…organized.
Toothless limped closer towards Astrid as she was holding her axe "Astrid this a very important job that I ask of you and only you" he said as she watched him closely "once everything's in place, this one job I ask of you is one I trust you with" he looked at the axe then towards Hiccups left leg to which Astrid caught on and her eye's went wide "y-you want me to chop off his leg?!" she shrieked for the first time since she was five, she must of thought he was joking.
Toothless was serious.
"B-but why me" she asked with fear in her voice, she was no stranger to this sort of thing but to do it to one she loved, she couldn't comprehend.
Toothless stamped his foot down, which he regretted as he was still healing "Astrid! You are the best with your axe! You better at aiming, and believe me I've seen it. If Hiccups got any chance of surviving then it should be you to save him!" Toothless roared startling her a bit, not by the loud roaring, but by what he said.
'He wants me to be Hiccups savior?' she thought to herself, she didn't know whether to be honored or scared at being given this task.
Her thoughts were dismissed by the arrival of the green Zippleback with his riders followed by Meatlug carrying a slab of rock 'that was fast' she thought to herself again, but was glad they were fast for every minute past brought more fear for Hiccups life to her.
Toothless looked at the group that came back satisfied before turning towards the Nightmare then to Astrid "right next we need Hookfang to heat the blade of the axe so Astrid if you don't mind holding it out please" Astrid hesitated for a moment then nodded as she walked towards the red Nightmare and held out her axe for him to heat up, as he was doing that, Fishlegs got Hiccup gently onto the slab his dragon brought, trying not to be sick at the sight, he pulled the last of the fabric of the left leg all the way up to reveal the bare and mangled skin of the lower leg. Even though he wanted to throw up looking at it, he realized something they needed before the amputation "we need something to restrict the blood in his leg, otherwise he'll bleed out too fast" this got the attention of everyone and they realized he was right and straight away Astrid, with her free hand did something she never thought she would do, she removes her leather headband and throws it to Fishlegs, gesturing to him to use that to apply the tourniquet.
Now to most people, a headband wouldn't mean much but for appearance but to Astrid Hofferson, it means something else. It represents her dedicating her life to being a shield maiden, to be the strongest there is, but she was willing to give that up all for Hiccup, to save his life.
Fishlegs tightened the headband around the upper part of the knee to stop the blood flow, Toothless examined the leg again before lifting his left forepaw just above the mangled part of the lower leg and dragged a claw over the leg causing a red line to form, a line where he wanted Astrid to cut the leg.
With the axe head now glowing hot Astrid slowly walks over towards Hiccup and Toothless careful not to drop the glowing red weapon, she readies herself for what she was about to do. Toothless see's she ready before looking at Stormfly and nodding, he then turned to Fishlegs prompting him to hold down Hiccup as he will feel an extreme amount of pain from this. Finally he turned to Astrid and nodded, gesturing her to proceed.
The twins had the water ready when needed, Fishlegs closed his eyes while holding Hiccup down and Astrid prayed to the gods to forgive what she was about to do, gulping, she lifted her axe high seeing her target clearly, taking a deep breath she muttered "I'm doing this for you my love, be strong" and with one powerful swing, brought the axe down upon his leg severing it straight through.
Hiccup upon the axe hitting his leg woke and screamed with all his might causing all in hearing distance to cover their ears, they never heard Hiccup scream that loud before, they thought he was loud when he shouted in the arena, but this was nothing compared to this, he kept on the screaming as Stormfly, trying not let the screaming affect her, did what Toothless wanted her to do, she blew out her magnesium flame upon the bleeding stump sealing it off before backing away to which Toothless came forward and licked the wound, coating it with his saliva, he didn't like the taste of burning flesh, but if it saved his brother then he'll do anything.
Finally after what seemed like forever of Hiccup screaming, he passed out from exhaustion, Astrid dropped her axe and quickly went toward her boyfriend, holding him tightly as the twins and Fishlegs went towards the new stump, cleaning and bandaging it up. Once they were satisfied with how it was dressed they started to set up a camp fire with whatever wood they could find before collapsing onto the ground in exhaustion as Astrid kept hold of Hiccup not wanting to let him go. They all were thinking about what happened today, they never thought that they would take out a dragon like that, mostly they thought about what would have happened if Berk accepted the dragons instead of getting exiled, they could all be in the great hall now enjoying a nice mug of mead, but they knew they can't change the past but maybe there was hope for the future.
Astrid however was thinking something else and voice her concern to the others "guys, how are we going to get Hiccup and Toothless of the island?" gesturing Hiccup's stump and Toothless' broken tail fin.
They were so much in thought at how they were going to do this that they did notice a ship land on the beach nearby, or that two people were heading their way, both female, one large with dirty blond hair in two braids and a large…..chest, covered by the traditional Viking attire, she was walking with an aura of authority while the other was small, very small, with dirty blond hair too but her hair was unkempt and wild like she just woke up and couldn't be bothered to brush it, wearing fur leggings, leather boots, a red shirt and black furred vest, she didn't have much of a chest like the other, she kind of looked like Astrid, if she was smaller and a pirate. When they got close enough for their shadows to loom over the groups before they turned around and the smaller woman smiled while crossing her arms.
"Well, well, well, so the rumor was true. Hiccup really did train dragons, fancy that" she chuckled as she see the dumbfound group looking at her in confusion, most likely wonder who she is.
Straightening up to present herself, she clears her throat before speaking "allow me to introduce myself, my name is Camicazi, heir to the Bog Burglar tribe"
Back on Berk
Stoick, after a long few days of calming the villagers down, enters his now empty and cold house hoping to rest for once after the long week he had, but as he looks around he sighs sadly knowing what caused his tiring week and what he lost in the process, but no matter if he tried to say the words he angrily wanted to say at the beginning it seemed that someone in the village stopped him, mainly Gobber, the Hoffersons, Ingermans, Thorstons and Gothi who, the last time he tried to say it, whacked him on the head hard, she only did that when she was mad and boy was she pissed, she hadn't hit him over the head since he was a boy and tried to impress the ladies by juggling barrels only for one to smash near her, but that was before she took a vow of silence which Stoick at the time wish she'd of taken it sooner.
Eventually he gave up saying it, hoping that it was because he was angry still and once he calms down he can figure out what to think of his son being friends with the demons in the sky. Once he lit the fire and got himself a mug of mead, he finally sat down in his house, alone. It was only when he put the mug down onto the dining table that he noticed the book that Gobber gave him to read, in honesty he completely forgot about it until now since he was busy being chief, but now that he had some peace for a bit he decided now would be a good time as any to see what Gobber wanted him to read.
As he opened the book to the first page to the book did he recognize Hiccups handwriting.
Property of
Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III
Age Ten
Stoick realized straight away that this was one of Hiccups Diaries from when he was younger so decided to carry on to the next page.
First of Gói
First day of my new diary which I got for my birthday from my dad, well it must show he doesn't ignore me all the time, I would tell him this in person but as I woke up yesterday, he was already out of the house and doing his chieftain duties, I can't blame him, I mean why would anyone want to stay in the same place as me for too long? Gobber maybe but I suspect he's gone a little insane.
Walked outside this morning, slightly in pain from Snotlouts 'special birthday' beating which I'm sure he cracked two of my ribs in the process but I wouldn't let him know he injured me badly, he'll only add more to it.
Nothing new in the village today for me, the same old glares from the adults as I walk by, I don't know what I did today to make them glare, most likely that I exist, the stares never hurt as much at what they muttered to on another which I hear very well 'what an embarrassment he is to our great chief' or 'why doesn't he stay inside his house forever so we don't have to worry about him destroying things' or the worst one that nearly killed me 'why didn't the dragon take him instead of his mother, least she would bear a child with more Viking than him' why would they say such things? Was I that bad that they'd say things like that?
I spend the day in the forest after that, maybe there a wild animal could finish me off, maybe then I could rest in peace and be with my mum.
Stoick put the book down looking wide-eyed at what he read 'did Hiccup really go through that in just one day?' he thought to himself, he shook his head in disbelief but as he looked through each page, they mainly said the same thing every day, beatings, ignored by his father or scalded by him, glares from villagers, ignored by his fellow teens and running off to different areas to isolate himself thinking of death.
'It can't be, no adult could live through that let alone a kid like Hiccup' Stoick thought to himself again, surly this couldn't happened to Hiccup, but as he looked further and further into the book, it just got worse until he stopped at one page in complete horror, for what he saw on this page was not only just ink, but dried blood.
They're all right about, me, I'm useless, completely useless, they said that I couldn't kill anything and they were right, I can't, even myself, I even slit my own wrist only to hesitated a second after I did it and ran to get some bandages to stop the bleeding, I'm a complete embarrassment, no wonder my dad hates me, he didn't even acknowledge me when he saw Snotlout stand on top of me, or the fact I walked with a limp the entire day, in fact the only ones who did see me this way, to my awareness, was Gobber and Gothi who tended to my cracked ribs, again.
Well I might as well rest in bed early since I can't do much today and the loss of blood has kind of made me feel tired so I'll end it with two final words.
Happy Snoggletog.
At this point Stoicks eye were watering, he remembered that Snoggletog when Hiccup was absent in the great hall while the other teens were in there, but I thought anything about it, Hiccup wasn't very sociable so would avoid any celebrations, but now after reading this, he realized that Hiccup avoided them was because he didn't feel welcome.
Stoick at this point buried his face in his hands as he mumbled to himself "oh Hiccup, what kind of father am I, I'm sorry, I'm so so sorry son" he realized now why no one would let him say those words, he remembered what Hiccup said to him before he left
"Don't you dare say it father! I guarantee if you say it you'll regret it!"
And he was right, it was then that if his son ever came back again, he needed to make amends.
That is IF he came back.
Back on Dragon Island
"Bog Burglars?!" Astrid shouted as the rest of the female army came into view armed to the teeth, but none of them actually pulled out their weapons, which confused the four teens and their dragons.
Cami could only smirk "ding ding we have a winner!" she said earning a glare from Astrid "what are you doing here and how did you get to the island?" Astrid bluntly ask, but before Cami could answer the larger woman stepped forward introducing herself.
"Allow me to answer that" she said with a nod before continuing "my name is Bertha chiefess of the Bog Burglars" she patted the blond girl on the top of her head making her huff in annoyance "and before I answer your question, let me ask you this, give me a reason not to allow my warriors to kill you where you stand" the four teens were taken aback by this, even Cami who stared at her mother's words but failed to notice the smirk plastered on Berthas face, Astrid however saw this and remembered what Gobber said about encountering the Bogs.
Astrid nodded to Bertha before slowly walking towards Stormfly and remove the letter Gobber gave her from one of the bags on her saddle before walking back towards the chiefess and handing her to the letter.
The large chested leader takes the sealed envelope, as she look at the waxed seal in the centre she smiles as she starts to open the letter and reads it.
She this turns to her daughter with seriousness in her look "Cami, please get Flinks for me please" Cami gives her mum a confused look before running back to the ship before running back again with a white-tailed eagle perched on her arm. Berta was ready with a letter of her own as she whispers to the eagle before attaching the letter to its leg and letting Cami set it loose.
With that done, the chiefess turns to the confused group before addressing them again "well now, I don't know about you but I feel like getting off this island and back to Bog" she said clapping her hands together before looking down at the unconscious boy "and by the looks of Hiccup, he needs some serious medical attention" she gestured to her ship, but none of the teens moved, they seemed in two minds about this, yes Hiccup was still not out of the woods but worried if they should trust this tribe, they were the Bog Burglars after all.
Astrid decided not to let fear get the best of her and stood up looking directly into the chiefess' eyes "no offence but how can we be sure you won't hand us into Berk"
Bertha gave a reassuring smile while holding the letter she read "because of who wrote this letter I trust is telling the truth and by chieftains word, you shall not be harmed" this eased the teens as they started to gently place hiccup on a makeshift stretcher made out of long branches and a spare blanket. Now at this point you're wondering why the teens trusted Bertha so quickly after she said that, yes she is a Bog Burglar, they are known for being pirates from time to time, and so was Big Boobied Bertha, however she is also known for sticking to her words, this is known throughout the Archipelago, so if you piss her off and she says by her word she'll kill you, you're as good as dead.
With everyone safely on board and the ship sailed away from Dragon Island Astrid's attention were focus on Hiccup who was still unconscious.
She was worried. Worried he'll never wake up but she kept hope close to her as well that he will wake up.
"I-I don't know if you can hear me babe, but I just wanted to let you know that I love you so dearly and want you to come back, not just for me but for Toothless too" she quietly said as the mentioned dragon perked up from the other side of the boy whining for his brother.
The Unknown Hiccups POV
"Uh" was the first thing that came out of my mouth as I opened my eyes to…well I don't know what I've landed into all I remember is blasting the red death, losing control of the tail and something big come straight towards us…..
"Oh great, I've died" I groaned until a large hand landed upon my shoulder making me jump back and turning around towards the owner only for my eyes to go wide at what I see before me.
A man, a very tall man wearing gold and silver armour designed so perfectly that they befitted the gods with the flowing red cape behind him, he held in his right hand a golden spear I've never seen before in my life. He smiled under his long white beard as he looked at my with his left eye, since the right one was covered with a golden eye patch.
"Greetings young one" the man said calmly to me as it had my mouth wide open in shock.
The man only chuckle at my expression before I could speak the man beat me to the punch "yes Hiccup you are not imagining it, I am the Allfather, Odin"
Oh gods, Odin, THE Odin standing right in front of me, wait if he's here then that means…..
"And before you say it, no you're not dead, although you did come close" he said patting me on my back nearly knocking me over.
I looked around the area again it was completely white holding my fear intact I start to speak "err I'm sorry to be rude but, where am I exactly?"
Odin looks around too but he doesn't seem as bother as I am "a place of not the living nor the dead, but you young Hiccup know so well" he said before he tapped me on the head.
"W-wait? You mean m-my mind?" I ask to which he replied with a nod, I look again with a raised eyebrow "hmm seem emptier than I thought" Odin chuckled.
"My dear boy this is but one room in your mind, there are thousands of doors in your mind ready to show you the good, the bad and…." Odin started to smirk "your desires" okay that one made me blush "all you have to do Hiccup is open the door to find them"
I raised an eyebrow again as I look around the room again "err news flash Allfather sir there is no…."
*Whack!*
"…..door" I groaned. Huh strange I didn't see a wooden door there before"
Rubbing my nose and ignoring the Allfather of Asgard's laughter I slowly opened the door to reveal a long corridor full of doors, walking into there I see each one labelled.
Odin was right, the doors did lead to memories of my past, good ones, like falling in love with Astrid and befriending Toothless, bad ones like Snotlouts beatings, dad disapproval, the villagers ridicule, even the more recent Red Death incident and several doors mark as 'Desire' I had to take a look through these doors, starting with the one in front of me, as I opened it up I went wide-eyed at what I saw.
Me and Astrid, on a bed… at that point I slammed the door shut turn around so my back was against the door, my whole face was burning red, Odin was standing in front of me, trying to keep a straight face.
"Enjoyed what you saw?" he amusingly asked as I gave him a deadpan look to which he waved off as he started to walk away.
"Come Hiccup, follow me, there is a reason why I have visited you in your mind, and it's down this way"
I was confused but I followed him down the corridor.
Eventually what felt like hours of walking he stopped by a door that was different to the others. The door was a shiny red with a golden plaque on the front of it that read 'Prophecy', I looked at Odin who gestured me to open the door. Taking a deep breath I slowly turn the handle until I hear and with one more breath, open the door.
Inside the room was a stone statue wearing a white robe which stood out by the black walls.
I feel like it was drawing me to it as I slowly walk towards the statue, it's like it was telling me to touch it, I wanted to touch it.
But the second I felt the stone on the palm of my hand, it suddenly came to life and grab my wrist and wouldn't let go no matter how hard I pulled.
Fear came to me as it opened its eyes to reveal large glowing green eyes. Forest green just like mine I was mesmerised by them.
It then open its mouth as it began to speak with a familiar voice I've heard twice, but only in my dreams.
Beware, beware of the metal arm man
For he will bring terror and madness to the sane.
Beware of the deranged hooked man
For his berserk form scar you again and again.
The metal arm and hooked man beware for they should be afraid
For the price of terror must be paid
A man, a savior of hope and light
Shall face evil with all his might
A man blessed by the elders of gods
Shall use brain and heart as his methods
For he is not alone, but they are those
Skin and scales together with him to oppose
Human and beast stand as one
For this is the new age of man and dragon
It then all went silent as the statue let me go and closed its eyes before becoming lifeless again, I ran out of the room which shut behind me, catching my breath, I realized that most of it I heard before, but the rest was new to me. So what did this mean? Am I supposed to find this saviour or was it me.
Not looking at the Allfather, I start to speak "wh-what w-was th-that?" oh yeah Haddock, stuttering to the Allfather of the Vikings, very brave.
"That young Hiccup was a prophecy" he said clearly before looking at me to which I looked back "your prophecy to be exact"
"Mine?" I said sceptically to which he nods "so that means I'm the saviour in the prophecy?"
Odin just raises an eyebrow "you don't seem too convinced that you are the saviour" I then stand and start to gesture all of myself.
"No offense but look at me, even my name should have given it away how can I take out not just one mad man, but two, and when?" I closed my eyes and looked down wondering if this is all one big mistake. Suddenly I feel the hand of god, literally, on my shoulder again.
"I'm well aware what your name means, but you underestimate yourself, in given time, you shall see that it's not impossible for even a Hiccup to be the one who saves the world, as for when, I cannot say, for only when it's time, you'll know" he then points to my left arm "the mark left by your elder is the first blessing, and you will receive similar ones like that upon your journey, but you shall not do this alone, you have your little group and you have your dragons especially the Night Fury, the one you call Toothless and you have Astrid, these two are entwined in your destiny too their bonds to you can never be broken" suddenly I hear a voice calling out my name as cracks start to appear in the walls and doors, Odin just looks around before nodding "I believe it's time we part ways young Hiccup, this will be the last time you shall see me for a long while, but I will leave you with a few last words, keep your head and heart strong, for these are your strongest weapons" and with that he bows and starts to walk away.
"Wait!" I shout making him stop and look at me "there is one thing you could answer for me, how come were able to understand dragon we bond to?" he only smile before he starts to speak.
"Unfortunately, I shall not, but someone else from your past shall very soon" the lights around us start to dim into darkness but I hear one last word from him as it goes pitch black.
"Oh and watch out for that first step as you get up"
And with that I'm left alone and confused in the dark.
Back on Midgard
I slowly start to open my eyes for what like seems forever, I feel pain everywhere, like I was drinking and ended up in a fight without knowing it.
Getting up I notice two figures that come into my vision, one is the black scaly head of Toothless and the other the beautiful, if not a little messy, blond hair of my Astrid, both seem extremely exhausted, surly I've only been out for a few hours, well it seemed like it in my mind.
Careful not to wake them up I swing my legs over the bed as I keep my eyes on them so as not to disturb them, getting out I start to stand and walk.
Well that was the plan that never happened.
*Slam!*
Face first into the floor yeah nothing new about me. I then feel myself being dragged up by my shirt, looking around to my rescuer, I'm greeted by a pair of large dilated green eye.
"Toothless?"
Suddenly I'm pushed back down on the ground again as my black scaled brother pushes me back onto the ground and starts to nuzzle me affectionately and licks me.
"Oh, no hahaha, stop Toothless you know that doesn't wash out!" I laugh as it is nice to see my best bud again even if it's only been a few hours.
"Never do that again! You scared the hell out of us, we thought we were going to lose you! Keep this up and my scales will go grey way too early!" Toothless barks and roars loudly clearly frustrated, like he's been waiting a while.
"I know I'm sorry bud, I didn't mean to get hit" I reply back while attempting to wipe the saliva off my face, yep disgusting.
"Hiccup!"
Toothless moves away to reveal the source of that voice to be my Astrid, except she looks worn out, red eyed like she's been crying a lot, and as I said before, her hair is a mess, but still my beautiful Astrid the same, although I'm a little worried the way she's staring at me like I just turned into a Zippleback.
"Now I know what you're going to say, but I didn't know it was going to happ…." I couldn't get the rest of my sentence out for the next second I was tackled back to the floor by the powerful blond warrior who proceeded to hold me tight in a flurry of punches to the shoulders and chest while she kissed me everywhere.
"Err. Astrid. I'm covered in Night Fury drool" I told her to which she carried on with the kissing.
"I don't care! You big dummy! I've missed you like hell!" she shouted in between kisses.
"Aww come on milady, surly you couldn't have missed me in them few hours I was out" I told her to which she stopped kissing me and looked into my eye with worry.
"Hiccup, babe, you've been out for more than just a few hours, way too long" she replied trying to hold back the tears.
I looked at her with fear "Astrid, please tell how long was I out" I asked her with looking directly into her watering blue eyes. She bit her nervously, I know when she does this, it's because she's worried at my reaction but if I know her she'll not want to lie to me, another reason I love her.
Astrid took a deep breath before she spoke "Babe" she cups my cheeks as she keeps eye contact "try two months"
Oh bugger!
I know, I know I'm evil for leaving this on a cliffhanger, but what do you expect, I'm British! Were the type of villain you both love and hate, wow just realized that makes me sound like marmite.
But we're on the road now, or skies. You like my Odin, decided to base it off the Thor movies version, hey Anthony Hopkins is cool, ya can't dis him.
Anyway see you all next time.
