Five Years Later
Part 57
During their ride to the venue, Sebastian made a point of reminding his parents that this was not their typical setting to which they both acknowledged knowing. The more Sebastian spoke, Blaine could tell he was nervous about bringing his parents to the bar and that was something Blaine understood from the previous week. When they pulled up, Blaine was surprised when the driver began backing in causing him to lower the window to speak with Scott. Scott was quick to tell him that they were backing down the alley so they could get in as there was quite the line out front. Blaine was quick to ask about Sebastian and his parents, and he was informed that they'd be entering from the back as well.
When the rear-door opened, it wasn't long till they exited. With one look, Scott pointed to one of the other members of the team which had Blaine's bag already in hand. After they made their way inside, it wasn't long till Blaine was giving Sebastian a kiss as he needed to get ready. So he told everyone to enjoy the show and he'd see them afterwards. "Shouldn't you be waiting with B?" Sebastian asked as Scott escorted them out into the bar.
"He's being looked after Sebastian, don't worry." Scott told him with a smile. "I know you hate new venues, but it's a part of life now."
"I don't need to be reminded of that fact." Sebastian stated as he began to look around at their surroundings for the night.
"Sebastian." Victoria stated, slightly surprised by Sebastian's behavior.
"It's alright Mrs. Smythe, if Sebastian wasn't like this, I'd worry." Scott replied.
"Still, that gives him no right to speak to you like that."
"Mom, this is our normal behavior. Scott's not taking it personally as it's all based off of when we first met. Needless to say I had a bit of an attitude at that moment as he was keeping me from Blaine and I had no clue who he was."
"He's correct ma'am, I'm not. If Sebastian wasn't worried, I would be. New venues are always a bit tricky, not to mention the places Blaine is playing are becoming bigger." Just as the words left his mouth, Scott motioned towards a booth that had a reserved sign on it. "This is for you, as is the one next to it." He continued before setting their badges down on the table. "I don't need to give you the whole routine, do I?"
"No, I'm more than capable of filling my parents in on the routine for after the show."
"Alright, but if you need anything or see anything…"
"I will text you, promise." Sebastian looked at Scott who was smiling back at him as they got settled. "Don't you have other things to do now that we're set?"
"Actually, once you were settled I need to go talk to the venue's head of security as Vincent said he had a question about something that was mentioned. Mr. and Mrs. Smythe, I hope you enjoy the show."
"What, you're not going to say the same to me, I'm offended?"
"Sebastian, we all know you're going to enjoy the show. By the way, I think you're going to like one of Blaine's new numbers." Before Sebastian had a chance to say anything else, Scott was walking away leaving a slightly shocked Sebastian with his parents.
"Should we take his comment about if you see anything to mean, if you see Blaine' ex?" Xavier asked just as a waitress came over to take their drink order. Once their order was placed, Sebastian confirmed his Dad's question as his Mom looked at him. "They're looking out as well, aren't they?"
"Yes, but we're always on the lookout as well."
Before Sebastian could say much else, the rest of their friends started to arrive so Sebastian went about making introductions as it had been some time since they'd all seen one another. Even considering the size of the booths, Thad and Rachel sat off to the side with Nick as Hunter, Kimberly, and Jeff were with the Smythes. "Not that we mind, by why aren't you sitting with Sebastian?" Nick asked as he slid his arm around Sophie as Wes and Chloe joined Sebastian.
"That would be because of me." Rachel said softly as she looked across at Nick who spotted Santana and Jordan making their way through the crowd. "I have a tendency to ramble when I get nervous and say things I really shouldn't."
"And since you were a bit intimidated by the Andersons, the Smythes take it to a new level."
"Yes."
"Much as with Blaine's parents, there really is no need to be worried." Nick reassured her.
"Good luck." Thad told him. "I've said it numerous times to no prevail. Honestly, most of our parents are alike Rach." He then kissed Rachel on the temple as she looked at Santana and Jordan who were speaking with Sebastian and the others. "What is it?"
"How is it Santana is so comfortable?"
"Probably because she has no preconceived notion of what Sebastian's parents are like." Thad said as he put his arm around her. "Seriously, you saw last week, Blaine's parents are a lot like him and the same can go for Sebastian. Though, obviously that can be a bit more intimidating." While Nick tried not to, he couldn't help but laugh at Thad's comments. "Nice one Duval."
"Come on, it's true considering it's Sebastian you're talking about."
"True. You just need to relax Rach. I mean, you can hear them all laughing so they aren't people you needed to fear."
"But…but they know them." Rachel said.
"They only really know Jeff." Nick told her. "Wes had already graduated by the time Sebastian got to Dalton and, Hunter wasn't there long enough to meet them."
"You need to go into meeting them with an opened mind." Sophie told her, her voice kind and understanding. "They really are quite pleasant people, much as the Andersons were."
"Not to mention, think of how awkward being here is." Santana said as she slid in beside Thad. "The bar scene really isn't a typical place for them."
"Yet they're here supporting Blaine, the man their son is in love with." Jordan added, earning her a kiss on the cheek from Santana. "And from what we saw, enjoying themselves. They're making the most of the situation."
"Blaine's parents did the same thing as it's not their typical place." Nick said. "But from what Jeff had mentioned, the Andersons said it was easier with all of us around as they felt more comfortable." Nick was still speaking when he watched Sebastian make his way out of the booth and head towards the stage door. "Something isn't right."
"How so?" Sophie asked as his expression said more than his words.
"Sebastian just headed backstage, yet Jeff hasn't moved." With that said, Thad turned to look at the booth beside them where the others seemed to be keeping the Smythes occupied with Sebastian gone. "Are you going to ask?"
"No." Thad replied before taking a sip of his drink. "We'll find out soon enough as those guys have a certain look to them."
Once Sebastian reached the stage door, a member of the venue's security opened the door for him allowing him through. He was barely halfway down the hall when he spotted Vincent and Scott talking. "Care to tell me what the hell is going on that I needed to leave my parents?" Sebastian asked the moment the two spotted them.
"Kurt's here and Blaine felt you needed to be told. Knowing how you feel about him, I felt it best not to tell you in a text." Vincent told him. It was only a moment later when Sebastian ran his fingers through his hair before taking a deep breath as this was something he and Blaine had both worried about. The last thing either wanted was for him to appear with their parents in town. "Scott's seeing to it that he doesn't come near any of you."
"Where is Blaine?"
"I'm right here." Blaine said as he appeared in the hallway, soon to be enveloped in Sebastian's arms. "I'm so sorry Bas." He then felt a kiss pressed to the top of his head before he looked up at Sebastian. "If you want, you and your parents are more than welcome to come and watch the show from the wings." As the two talked, Vincent and Scott moved a bit further down the hall to give the two a bit of privacy considering the setting.
"As nice as that would be since I'd get a great view of one of my favorite assets of yours, I'm going to have to decline. If my parents are going to see you perform, I want them to get the full experience. But I appreciate it. Plus, it would take a serious set of balls to come to my table considering Hunter, Jeff, and Wes are also sitting with us." When a smile crept to Blaine's face, Sebastian smiled as well. "That's more like it Killer. While these are less than ideal circumstances, we'll be okay."
"Are you sure?"
"I'm positive. Us Smythes can take care of ourselves." Sebastian then leaned down to kiss him once more. "So go out on that stage and do what you were meant to do B. Don't worry about me, okay?"
"I can't help but worrying, I love you."
"I love you too. How about this, don't worry any more than normal. Can you do that?"
"I can do that." Blaine then moved up onto his toes to give Sebastian a kiss before a soft laugh escaped him, causing Sebastian to cock an eyebrow. "You'll find out soon enough. Just know, tonight wasn't a good night for him to come considering the set list."
"Might this have something to do with something Scott told me?"
"You'll just have to wait and see." Blaine then kissed Sebastian once more. "Now go back to your seat as we're going to go on in a few minutes."
"I can't wait." Sebastian then shot a wink at his band who'd come out into the hallway just moments earlier. "I'll see you after the show."
"See you then."
After a few more kisses, Sebastian headed back down the hall and out into the venue. As Blaine watched him walked down the hall, he felt a pair of arms wrap around him from behind before felling a head resting on his shoulder. "Considering what's happened, do you want to tweak the set?" Talia asked before placing a kiss on his shoulder. "We're good either way, you know that, right?"
"Talia's right, especially considering the duet the two of you were going to do." Morgan added.
"Are you implying that you all think Kurt's going to freak out when he hears it?"
"There's a strong chance." Justin replied. "But, I really think you need to sing it." Blaine turned his head to look at him, and Justin smiled. "Not that I care that it'll piss him off, but you and Talia sound amazing. And the song has so much meaning."
"Do you all feel the same way?" Blaine asked as he looked at them, all of them nodding in response. "Then we're doing it. I'm glad you guys don't mind as I've really been looking forward to singing this." The words had just left Blaine's mouth when Vincent called out saying it was time. "Last chance."
"You're singing it." Todd said. "Now, let's do this." Before they headed off down the hall, Talia stepped before Blaine and straightened the necklace Blaine was wearing so it was centered, bringing a smile to his face.
"Let's go." She replied before taking his hand and walking towards the stage with the rest of them.
When they took the stage, Sebastian couldn't help but glance at his parents who clearly weren't expecting the venue to get as loud as it did once they appeared. While Blaine had been nervous about playing bigger venues, thinking they might not fill up, this was proof of how in demand they really were. Victoria leaned in close to her son, when she saw quite the smile creep his face the moment Blaine pointed out towards him. Shortly after Blaine's set began, Sebastian noticed a member of Blaine's security detail sitting at the table beside them, causing him to shake his head. Yet Jeff was quick to lean in to explain that it was as much for them, as it was for Blaine's piece of mind.
It would've been easy to argue that fact, but Sebastian knew Jeff was right. Much as Blaine wasn't comfortable having security around at first; this was new for Sebastian as it was there for him. They were only a few songs away from their acoustic set, when Sebastian tensed on sight as he caught sight of Kurt in his peripheral vision. Hunter was quick to take notice, causing Sebastian to mouth a response, thankful that his parents were caught up in watching Blaine. The moment Hunter rolled his eyes, Sebastian knew he'd understood what he'd said and knew he'd keep an eye out as well.
Once they started the acoustic part of the set, Xavier leaned over his wife to tell Sebastian that he was truly impressed by what they'd heard so far which only made Sebastian beam with pride. Yet the moment the current song ended, he looked at Jeff as they began moving around once more and they knew that part of the set wasn't over. "While this might seem a bit odd for those of you that have seen us before, we're stripping this next number down a bit more than usual." Blaine said as they moved two more stools to the front as Todd brought a single snare and brushes with him as Talia took a seat beside Blaine as Justin moved to the opposite side of Morgan. "We hope you all enjoy as this song as, we're all rather proud of how it sounds and are thrilled to finally be able to share it."
The moment Sebastian saw Blaine's fingers glide over the silver of his necklace, Sebastian moved in his seat slightly as he had a feeling this was the song Scott had mentioned. Then once they began to play, he noticed his parents exchange a few looks before his Dad's arm went around his Mom, hinting that they knew the song. When Talia began to sing, Sebastian smiled because as much as he loved listening to Blaine, he loved whenever one of them joined him for a duet. The first verse which Talia sang, had him mesmerized as he hadn't heard it before, yet the moment Blaine joined her, he was listening even more intently.
Over and over again
I tried to tell myself that we
Could never be more than friends
But all the while, inside, i knew it was real
The way you make me feel
Blaine wasn't even halfway through, when Jeff glanced at Sebastian who had a look on his face that harkened back to the first time Blaine and Sebastian had met. Yet this time around, there was certainly something different about it.
Lyin' here next to you
Time just seems to fly
Needing you more and more (more and more)
Let's give love a try
Sweeter and sweeter love grows
And heaven's there for those
Who fool the tricks of time
With hearts of love will find
True love in a special way
While Sebastian doesn't hide how he feels about Blaine, more often than not only their friends ever truly see how deep those feelings run. By the time the song ended, Sebastian had such a look of adoration on his face that anyone looking at him could see how much he loves Blaine. The way the crowd reacted once they finished, brought quite the smiles to all of their faces as there was still a bit of hesitation when trying out new songs. "Is it wrong that anytime they do a number like this to feel jealous of those that are with their significant other?" Jeff asked as he leaned as he took in everyone around them who was quite close in the moment.
"Not in the slightest." Sebastian replied. "What I wouldn't give to kiss B right now."
"That's a feeling I understand all too well, but with Morgan of course."
"Of course. She was looking at you the whole time."
"And Blaine was looking at you. We're lucky Sebastian."
"Don't I know it."
Considering the size of the venue, it wasn't surprising that Blaine and the others weren't going to be coming out. But that was something they'd all essentially adjusted to the more popular they'd become. So while Sebastian and Jeff waited for their usual texts, they discussed the show with Sebastian's parents who were beyond impressed with what they witnessed. They loved the balance in songs that were played, along with the acoustic set which gave the whole show a more intimate feel. "Does Blaine duet with the girls often?" Victoria asked as she looked at the two.
"There is usually at least one song done with each per show like this evening."
"But they've done more." Sebastian added. "It all depends on the set list they made up for the night."
"So, they don't always play the same set?" Xavier asked.
"No." Sebastian replied. "They like to change it up as they don't want to get bored. Though, there are a few songs they play each show as they are favorites and ones people expect to hear."
"Or favorites of Sebastian." Hunter said with a laugh, earning him a look from Sebastian as the others laughed as well. "It's true man, you can't deny it."
"He's got a point." Jeff added earning him a look as well. "Don't even try it as you know you have a say in what Blaine plays whether you admit it or not."
"It sounds as though you are outnumbered son." Xavier said with a smile. "Any specific ones you know of?"
"More, which was the first song Sebastian heard Blaine sing once they reconnected." Wes said.
"Glad You Came, as it's a song Sebastian sang in competition in high school." Jeff continued. "And Blaine came up with that sweet acoustic version."
"My Dark Side." Hunter told them. "That was done with the Warblers when we'd attempted to lure him back."
"Words." Kimberly added with a smile before giving Sebastian a wink prior to excusing herself from the table. With a glance, Chloe headed off with her.
"Do you want to go too Mom?" Sebastian asked after spotting the rest of the girls getting up to go with. "Why do ladies to do that?"
"For starters, no, I don't need to go." Victoria told him. "And they do it as sometimes they don't want to go alone which isn't odd in this sort of setting. Or, they're going to gossip in a place you boys can't hear."
"I vote for gossip." Jeff said with a smile to which Hunter and Wes echoed. "But I completely get not wanting to go alone, safer."
"Precisely."
While the girls were away from the guys, it was a bit of a gossip session much as Mrs. Smythe had expected. Though, they couldn't say everything they wanted because of the others around. They'd all agreed early on that while Blaine had no issue if people knew he was gay, he'd prefer to not broadcast his and Sebastian's relationship which they all understood. The two were certainly allowed their privacy and the more popular Blaine was becoming, the rarer that was going to become.
During their walk back, Santana and Kimberly were talking when they heard a huff just ahead of them. "You have got to be kidding me." Santana stated as her eyes fell upon Kurt. "You just can't leave Blainers alone, can you?"
"Good evening to you to Santana." Kurt replied. "Ladies…Rachel. I see your boys let you wander off on your own."
"We're free to do as we like." Kimberly told him. "Plus, a trip to the ladies room isn't quite their thing. Now, if you'll excuse us, we'd like to head back to the rest of our party."
"I take it if you don't return that pompous-ass of a boyfriend of yours will come looking for you."
"If I'm gone longer than a reasonable amount of time, yes, as he'd be concerned. Now move, as it won't be long till we'll be leaving."
"Rachel, do you share her sentiment?" Kurt asked as he looked through Santana and Kimberly to Rachel who was just behind them with the others.
"Kurt, we're here with a group of people and they'll come looking for us soon. So, it would be best to let us go as really, you don't want those we're with looking for us."
"That must mean you're with the Warblers."
"Yes, though we're with others as well." Rachel told him. "But if you want to talk, I'll stay."
"We're not leaving you." Santana told her. "Seriously Hummel, what the hell are you doing here?"
"I wanted to hear Blaine."
"So now you care?"
"I've always cared." When Santana was about to speak, she felt Jordan's arm slide around her waist as this wasn't the place to get into this. "How sweet, your girlfriend has tamed you." That comment caused all of their eyes to fly open.
"I haven't tamed her; I personally love how feisty she is." Jordan replied. "But this is not the place for her to express her true feelings about you."
Much as the girls had expressed, when they didn't return after some time the guys were beginning to wonder what was keeping them. So when they began looking around for them a common expression came to them once they spotted them. "You've got to be kidding me." Thad said as he looked at the girls speaking with Kurt. "The fact that he's here is pathetic. Is that why you went back stage earlier Sebastian? Sebastian nodded.
"Will you boys excuse me?" Xavier said before looking at Hunter who was beside him.
"Dad?"
"Relax Sebastian, I've got this." By the time he'd answered, Hunter had moved out of the way and watched as Mr. Smythe moved out of the booth before heading towards the girls.
"Mom, what is he doing?"
"Being a gentleman and making sure the girls are alright." When she spoke, Victoria had taken Sebastian's hand and given it a squeeze. "As your Dad said, relax, he'll handle this."
As Xavier made his way closer, he could hear them all talking and from the intonation, could tell it was quite the stressful conversation. "Ladies, is everything alright?" The smooth sound of his voice from behind Kurt brought all of their eyes to him.
"Nothing we can't handle." Kimberly replied with a smile that read not so innocent.
"They're fine, you can go." Kurt stated as he turned to look at the older gentleman behind him. "I said you can go."
"Ladies, would you like me to go or wait for you?"
"You can wait." Santana said with a smile similar to Kimberly's. "Oh, Kurt, he's with us."
"Excuse me, but why might that possibly be as he's a bit old for you." The girls had to stifle a giggle as Mr. Smythe got a look on his face that they'd seen plenty of times on Sebastian. One that essentially read he couldn't believe what he'd heard. "Unless, he's with Blaine."
"You could say that he's with Blaine, isn't that right?" Rachel replied catching Santana by surprise.
"Very much so." Xavier stated earning him another look from Kurt.
"Fine, so who are you? A producer or something." Kurt asked almost flippantly.
"I'm a lawyer actually." Xavier told him earning him quite the look from the girls as it was now clear where Sebastian got some of his attitude from. "Xavier Smythe." The moment, Smythe, came from his mouth Kurt's eyes bugged out as he stared at the man before him.
"If the last name didn't fill you in, that's Sebastian's Dad." Santana said smugly. "So, as you can see, he is here with Blaine."
"This…this has to be a bad joke….right." Kurt stuttered out as he couldn't believe that the man was Sebastian's Dad. "There is no way this is the Meerkat's Dad."
"Meerkat?" As he spoke, Xavier felt an arm wrap around his shoulders.
"Yea, that's what he calls me." Sebastian said with a smirk. "I see you've met Hummel."
"No...this…this can't be happening."
"What can't be happening?" Sebastian replied with a smirk.
"This." He said as he pointed at the duo.
"You'll need to elaborate as you're not being very clear."
"From what I can gather Sebastian, he isn't quite sure what to make of me being here."
"He is a little slow on the uptake Dad." Sebastian said in response to his Dad. "Let me fill you in on what's happening Hummel. My parents, as my Mom is here as well, came to town to meet Blaine."
"You're kidding?"
"Mr. Smythe is right in front of you." Kimberly replied. "So how could he possibly be kidding?"
"Don't talk to me."
"That was rather rude of you to say to her." Xavier said to him. "She didn't say anything wrong."
"He just can't accept that you and Mrs. Smythe are here." Santana told him. "And so you know Hummel, Blaine's parents were here last weekend to spend time with Sebastian."
"Blaine's parents would never do that."
"That's where you're mistaken as I spent all of last weekend with Patrick and Kate." Sebastian told him. "That reminds me Dad, they're going to be calling you and Mom once you return as they'd like to have you both over for dinner."
"I will let your Mom know to expect a call."
"This isn't funny Sebastian." Kurt told him. "Blaine parents aren't the type to fly to New York to meet Blaine's newest fling as they don't care enough. And no matter what you're trying to prove here, you're failing miserably."
"What is he trying to prove?" Rachel asked. "This is his Dad and Blaine's parents were here last weekend. Blaine and Sebastian are the real deal Kurt so it was only a matter of time till they met each other's parents in person versus Skype."
"So you're playing along too? Great."
"Kurt, it's true." Rachel told him. "I'm not doing this to be mean, it's the truth. They…"
"Excuse me, Sebastian." Rachel stopped once Scott spoke. "Is everything alright?"
"Great, it's you." Kurt mumbled, recognizing Scott from earlier. "Did Blaine send you to make sure this one isn't off screwing some random guy in the bathroom?"
"Enough!" Xavier snapped shocking all the girls and gathering the attention of those around them. "I don't know who you think you are but you are not going to speak about my son in that manner!" Kurt was about to speak when Xavier glared at him, his eyes cold, stopping Kurt before a word could leave his mouth. While Mr. Smythe hadn't raised his voice, his tone spoke volumes. "My son might not be perfect, but no one is. Considering the things you've done, you, are not one at liberty to talk."
"I don't know what you think you know about me, but anything this one has told you are lies."
"Who do you think Blaine and Sebastian have gotten legal counsel from Mr. Hummel?" When Kurt's expression changed, Xavier smirked. "That's what I thought." Once he spoke, Sebastian felt Scott's hand on his shoulder, causing him to look at him.
"Your Mom is backstage with Blaine, Jeff brought her."
"Would you tell Blaine we'll be there shortly?" When Scott looked at him, Sebastian lowered his eyes. "You're not going, are you?"
"No. Notice, I'm here and not one of the team. So, think of who sent me. I'm not going back without you both."
"Ladies, go back to everyone else." Sebastian said as he looked at them and he could tell they didn't want to leave, especially Rachel.
"Rach, it's okay. Go. They're almost ready to go so that means we'll all be leaving soon."
"Sebastian." Rachel said softly as Santana took her hand.
"We won't be long as B is waiting for us." Rachel nodded and soon followed Santana and the rest of the girls back to the guys. "You really are a piece of work, aren't you Hummel?" Sebastian said as he altered his stance slightly. "The fact that you had the audacity to say that in front of my Dad…it's…I don't have the words."
"The truth hurts, huh Smythe." Kurt replied. "Guess you didn't want your Dad to know his son was such a…"
"Don't. Say. Another. Word." Xavier told him sternly. "I'm well aware that Sebastian here sowed his oats a bit earlier than most, but at least he wasn't in a relationship at that time. Unlike you, who slept around on your husband." Once he spoke, the two Smythes looked at Kurt who seemed shocked. "Yes, I know Mr. Hummel."
"And while we could honestly do this for hours, we're going to go as B's waiting for us." Sebastian said. "But here's a word of advice, stop coming to Blaine's shows as he really doesn't want you here."
"You can't stop me."
"True, he can't." Xavier said. "But, I'm sure Blaine's management could arrange it so you're not allowed in should you be considered a nuisance." While his Dad spoke, Sebastian's phone went off in his pocket which honestly didn't surprise him or the fact that the message was from Blaine.
"Let's go Dad as talking to him is like talking to a wall, it's not going to do any good."
"Backing down?" Kurt asked as he looked at him.
"No, but trying to get through to you is pointless. Regardless of what anyone says, you're going to do whatever you want. And honestly, you're not worth my time. So, we're going to go backstage to meet up with Blaine before going out prior to heading home." Once Sebastian was done, he didn't even wait for a response, just turned to Scott and his Dad before they headed off. As they walked away, Sebastian could hear Kurt speaking, spewing more insults in his direction but he was over it. It was as he'd said nothing he says or anyone else is going to change the way in which Kurt behaves.
By the time they made it into the dressing room, it didn't surprise anyone that Blaine was quick to excuse himself from Mrs. Smythe and walk over to Sebastian and his Dad. "Should I bother asking what kept you or do I already know the answer?"
"You already know." Sebastian replied before leaning down to give him a kiss. "He was his usual charming self. Safe to say, my Dad got a firsthand glimpse of what we deal with in regards to him."
"I'm so sorry Mr. Smythe." Blaine said as he slid his arm around Sebastian, but got a look from him, similar to the one his Dad had given Sebastian. "Xavier, I'm sorry you had to go deal with him."
"It's quite alright Blaine, I've dealt with worse." Xavier told him. "On a happier note, you are an extremely talented young man."
"Thank you." Blaine replied as Sebastian held him a bit closer, smiles creeping to both of their faces though Blaine seemed to get a bit shy.
"I should be thanking you as that was quite the performance we got to enjoy." The more Xavier spoke, the shier Blaine seemed to become, causing Sebastian to kiss him once more.
"Don't mind him Dad; he gets a bit shy when he gets complimented."
"Guess people will think he's pretty shy as there are plenty of compliments ahead of him. Now, what was this you said about going out before going home?" Xavier said as Victoria joined them.
"We go get something to eat after shows as Blaine and his band are a bit hungry when they're done." Sebastian replied. "Everyone goes."
"So, this is the end of the night then?"
"No, we've been invited dear." Victoria told him. "Blaine and the others invited us shortly after I got back here while you and Sebastian were dealing with matters." When Xavier looked at his wife, she smiled. "I thought the same thing but they all assured me we were welcome as they had Blaine's parents join them last weekend."
"We don't want to impose."
"You wouldn't be." Blaine replied. "But it's still up to you both whether you join us." Once Blaine spoke, it only took a look between the Smythes before they told them they'd be joining them. So, Blaine and his band finished packing up their things so they could head on their way.
