If I Were A Boy
Me: *looks at reviews* hmm...you know that could be interesting, a first for me and my stories so far...we'll see how things turn out
Keith: *looks at the reviews* as long as Rhyth doesn't stay in a relationship with me, I don't care
Summer: mind sharing?
Me: just pondering the possibility of not having almiashipping canon which I'm actually opened to. In the past, I would be like no, stick to the shipping I love the most, but now I'm like: hey that could be interesting, what would it be like if I tried that?
Summer: for example?
Me: one of my absolute favorite shippings is specialshipping, but lately I've been slowly becoming a bit of a fan of ambershipping. I've noticed that I'm more opened minded about pairings now than I was in the past. Still LOVE specialshipping though and almiashipping.
Summer: what a weird thing to be worried about
Me: T.T I know
Keith: anyways, pokelover0ash does not own anything except for her OCS.
Chapter 8
"We're doing what?" Summer asked a little too loudly.
"Swimming," Nathan replied. Summer sighed. She wasn't sure how it was going to turn out even with wet suits. Would it be obvious that she was female? She was relieved that it wasn't obvious when she compared herself to Nathan. Nathan obviously had a larger and broader frame than she did, but she had her age and science on her side. The whole concept of puberty was helping her out more than she ever expected it to.
They lined up together by the pool. It was one of the only classes that all four roommates were in it. Summer was so glad Ben wasn't very tall or muscular, that he was kind of on the scrawny side. Lunick and Nathan dwarfed both of them and they already had muscles prominent that just about catch any girl's attention in a good way.
"Alright, first we're swimming three laps and then we're going to be playing with the beach ball." The teacher said and Summer raced against the class excitedly. Tied with Lunick, Ben and Nathan eventually caught up, panting.
"You're a pretty good swimmer for such a scrawny kid," Lunick commented and Summer smiled.
"Thanks, you're not too bad yourself," Summer replied. The next activity worried Summer a little. This is because it was a game that quickly became a very physical game. Reaching up to hit the ball, her body accidentally pressed against Lunick's for a moment. Lunick became distracted and she got the ball easily without worrying about Lunick, but Lunick noticed something was off. He couldn't quite figure it out, thankfully, but he became very suspicious and so he spent the rest of the game trying to trip Summer up.
"Now to play a game in which one team will have to send two people: one on top and carried by the other. The person on top will try to knock the other top person," the teacher said. Everyone on Summer's side looked at her while everyone on the other side stared at Ben.
"Why do I have to be the lightest one?!" Ben exclaimed as he was picked up and placed on one of his classmates shoulders.
"I'll carry Sam," Lunick said, but Nathan swam under and Summer suddenly was lifted in the air as he came up so that she was sitting on his shoulders.
"I got him," Nathan said, knowing full well what Lunick was up to. Lunick scowled and Nathan glared at him. Summer tried to fight back the comment that she thought Nathan managed to get her on his shoulders a little too well.
"You lost to him, never saw that much skill in getting someone on your shoulders before," a classmate commented. Summer looked down and caught Nathan blushing a bit while he scowled.
"I had to do it one to many times in the past to help out my friends." Nathan admitted.
"Why do I have a feeling that one of these said friends is a girl that you either are dating or really want to date?" Summer asked and she never saw Nathan turn so red before.
"I will drop you," Nathan threatened. Summer tried to not to smile. She had been spot on and she knew exactly which girl it was: Moon.
"Oh right Miss Purplehead mentioned a girl named Moon, is that the girl?" Lunick asked and Nathan looked like he was contemplating becoming a serial killer.
"Hey! Let's have a good match Sam!" Ben exclaimed, distracting everyone from getting on Nathan's case. Summer nodded and smiled. The two wrestled in the air with each other and it was a close match, but Summer won. She had a feeling it may have had something to do with the fact that she had accidentally stuck her foot in the person's face and that the said person came out of the pool with a bruised shin (probably Nathan kicked him). They then had to go to the showers. Summer grimaced as this could completely blow her cover. Summer got one of the only showers that was in a corner and a taller door. Nathan took the shower next to her so that no one could peak over the stall and see that she didn't have all the same parts as the rest of her class. Summer tried to be as quick as possible. Lunick waited for his turn for one of the stalls and got closer to opening Summer's stall. He started to open the door and Summer held her breath as she made sure her back was towards the door. He started to turn the knob and Summer quickly finished her shower and wrapped a towel around her waist.
"THERE'S A GIRL IN HERE!" Someone exclaimed. Lunick's head snapped over as he looked in the opposite direction from where Summer was. Nathan pulled back a curtain and came out in nothing but pants (he had his shirt tossed over his shoulder). He looked at Lunick and when both realized that the said girl comment had nothing to do with Summer/Sam, they went over to investigate. Summer quickly changed and ran over, meeting up with her roommates. In a little locker that some people use to store their swimming gear, there was a girl with brown hair and blue eyes who looked absolutely confused and terrified at being surrounded by boys in a strange place. Nathan, Lunick, Ben, and Summer push their way to the front.
"Moon?!" Nathan exclaimed.
"Oh hey, it's one of the girls that is in his picture," Ben commented.
"How did she get in here?" Lunick asked. He was close to reporting the girl's appearance in the school, though if she was a trainer, then there wasn't much that could be done about it. The girl's eyes started to water and as soon as her eyes found Nathan, the girl came out of the locker and ran right into Nathan. Nathan rubbed the top of her head as she cried a little. Most of the guys began to glare at him, because Moon (the girl) was a very attractive innocent girl.
"Moon, how did you get here? You're supposed to be with Topaz and Garnet, aren't you?" Nathan asked softly. Ben and Summer were extremely surprised by how soft and calm his voice was. You could hear it in his voice that he cared a lot about Moon.
"I don't know, I was with Topaz, Sarah, and Blue looking at stores and then I saw a beautifly and then next thing I know I was in that locker." Moon replied.
"Your ability to get lost never ceases to amaze me," Nathan commented.
"How can someone have that poor of a sense of direction?" Lunick asked.
"I'm still baffled at how she got here," Ben commented. "But on the bright side, we got to meet your girl." Nathan blushed and Moon's eyes widened in surprised as she blushed.
"We're best friends," Moon replied.
"You're single?!" Ben exclaimed. Nathan pulled Moon's head close to his chest and gave everyone in the room a death glare. A warning to keep away from the sweet girl.
"Oi, just ask her out already," Summer commented as she stuck her hands into her pockets. Lunick sighed and looked at Moon.
"Try not to get so lost that you end up in the shower room of the ranger school next time," Lunick said and Moon nodded. She seemed so determined to not let it happen again.
"I'll try my best," Moon replied and at least half the boys started to fall for her and her adorableness.
"Hey Lunick, are we allowed off campus? I don't trust her sense of direction to allow her to get back to wherever she's supposed to be by herself," Nathan said.
"Call a friend to pick her up then," Lunick replied as he waved him off. Lunick then proceeded to get all the boys to back off Moon. Nathan ended up calling Ashleigh, which Summer thought proved that he really was big softie under his tough exterior. He could have called someone else, but he called someone that knew Summer and her situation.
"So how did you two meet?" Ben asked, a little disappointed that Moon was essentially unavailable despite her being technically single.
"Green, the Virdian City gym leader, caught him trying to climb and train on Mt. Silver without any badges and with only two pokemon. He had to bring Nathan along when coming to see me and my friends off. Nathan somehow got roped into joining us and we've been friends ever since," Moon cheerfully explained. Nathan sighed.
"You and I recall how we met very differently, you optimistic ball of jumbled up mess," Nathan commented and Moon pouted.
"So he may have not seen us as friends for a long while after that, but you were my friend soon after that," Moon retaliated.
"That's because you're gullible and trust people too easily," Nathan countered.
"You're too skeptical and suspicious of others too often," Moon replied as she glared at him. Ben and Summer tried not to laugh.
"What is your problem?" Nathan asked as he looked at them.
"Nothing, it's just that I feel like we're watching an old married couple bicker," both of them replied. The two of them looked at each other with huge smiles on their faces. Ben and Summer gave each other high fives while Nathan and Moon turned red.
"I'll kill both of you," Nathan said as he ran his fingers through his hair.
"We've just have traveled a lot together," Moon said as she tried to prevent people from getting the wrong idea.
"Only because you get lost too easily and your friends have a tendency of yelling at me over the phone like its my fault you get lost," Nathan grumpily admitted. Ben smiled as he no longer was disappointed that he couldn't have Moon. He found Moon being with Nathan too far of an amusing prospect.
"Just make sure we're invited your wedding," Ben teased and Nathan clenched his fist.
"Don't make me hurt you," Nathan replied.
"So Moon, anything we should know about our roommate?" Summer asked, to catch Nathan enough of guard so that Ben wouldn't get pummel.
"Um, well, he's really proud of his pokemon and he hates being late," Moon replied. Summer nodded and encouraged her to continue. "He says he doesn't care about anything, but he's saved me and shown kindness to different pokemon far too often for me to believe him on that." Nathan blushed, but he didn't threaten to kill Moon like he would have if it was Summer or Ben talking. "He loves Pecha Berry Moomoo Smoothies, strawberries, mushrooms, and just about anything sweet." Summer tried not to smile as she bit her lip. Nathan, the tough guy, had a sweet tooth and Moon, being the sweet girl she was, did not escape the category of sweet things that Nathan loved. It was absolutely adorable.
"Don't mind her, she's an airhead," Nathan said and Moon pouted.
"But it's true," Moon replied.
"You talk too much sometimes," Nathan said as he blushed slightly.
"Just admit it, you like her," Ben commented as he rolled his eyes. Summer nodded in agreement.
"You're so mean sometimes, "Moon commented as a fire began to light in her eyes. Nathan looked away and kept quiet, not wanting to invoke her temper in a place like this.
"Is this a bad time?" Ashleigh asked as she walked into the room.
"How did you get in so easily?" Summer asked.
"The front door is unlocked and there is nothing stopping a person from swimming with a pokemon to the beach," Ashleigh replied with a shrug.
"I swear, those rangers are slacking on our security," Lunick said as he walked in behind her.
"They have a lot on their plates already," Ashleigh replied as she looked at him. "But if you really are concerned about the safety of others, then I can patrol the shoreline with my pokemon, free of charge. My pokemon need the exercise anyways." Lunick scowled and didn't like the idea of trusting something so important to a trainer, let alone a girl. "Moon, you ready to go? Blue's worried."
"She always worries about me," Moon commented.
"For a good reason," Nathan muttered under his breath. Moon whacked his arm.
"I heard that," Moon commented as she glared at him.
"So how's school going?" Ashleigh asked as she looked at Summer and then at Nathan. Ben looked a little starstruck.
"Good, it's a lot of fun," Summer replied with a nod.
"It's annoying," Nathan added.
"Hang out with us soon, we miss you," Moon said and Nathan scowled though pink dusted his cheeks.
"Can I get your autograph?" Ben asked and Summer hit Ben hard. "Ow!" Ashleigh sweat dropped as she forced a smile.
"Maybe some other time," Ashleigh replied. "Well, see ya!" She left with Moon, leaving Summer behind with a bunch of boys.
"They're hot," Ben commented and Summer face palmed as Nathan whacked Ben upside the head. "Ow! It's true though!" Lunick sighed and shook his head.
"You're a little too girl crazy sometimes, you know that?" Lunick asked.
~with Karrie and Jewels~
"Yippee. We're so great, we're the greatest."Jewels chanted enthusiastically as he waved some pom poms around. Karrie rolled her eyes as she mumbled along.
"Jewels, at least try to pretend that you want to be here," Rhythmi said and Jewels sighed. It was hard to pretend when you wanted nothing more than to escape.
"Hooray! Our team is the best! It is so great! We'll kick you to the curb like it's no big deal!" Jewels cheered in a way that mocked the hyper ditzy cheerleaders trying out.
"Let's go team! Let's go! We're supposed to be the best so you bet we're going to act like it!" Karrie cheered. Rhythmi face palmed.
"Jewels, you can stop now," the head cheerleader said.
"I think you'll blossom more from being an assistant than a cheerleader," the coach admitted.
"What about Karrie?" Rhythmi asked.
"She may not be thrilled to wear the uniform, but we need someone who can do flips and tricks like she can," the coach replied. "Karrie, you're in." Karrie looked confused about whether or not she should be happy about that.
"Alright, dance tryouts," Rhythmi said.
"But the gymnastic teams likes my athletic abilities," Karrie protested.
"You're going," Rhythmi said. "The more involved the better."
"This sucks," Karrie mumbled. A tall blue haired girl with red eyes ran over waving at them as they entered the dance studio. Karrie stood frigid as the girl hugged her and swung her around. Jewels flinched as the girl then proceeded to pet him.
"Someone is full of energy today," Rhythmi commented. The girl beamed a smile at her.
"Greetings, Miss Rhythmi!" The girl exclaimed and Karrie rubbed her ears. "Karrie, Jewels, I'm glad you two could make it! I thought I wouldn't know anyone here!"
"Yep, we're here, yay!" Jewels replied and the girl laughed.
"You're so funny, Jewels," the girl said. "I'm Solana by the way!" Rhythmi slowly nodded. Karrie looked at Solana warily. Sometimes the blunette seemed like she was faking the extra bubbly airhead personality. "Let's do a group dance together!" Karrie and Jewels were dragged along and eventually danced. Jewels ended up getting assigned leads/male roles while Karrie was decided to be ambiguous. Solna got mainly follow/female roles. The four "girls" went outside and sat by a tree while eating lunch.
"So Solana, where are you from?" Rhythmi asked.
"Hoenn," Solana replied.
"So do you already have a pokemon buddy?" Rhythmi asked.
"A what?" Karrie asked.
"They haven't gone over it with you yet?" Rhythmi asked, surprised. "As an operator, you are allowed to have one, very rarely more, pokemon who helps you with your job as well as keep you company." Rhythmi took out a pokeball and released a pokemon. A mime jr. "This is Mimey, he's my buddy. The system works similar to the partner pokemon thing the rangers have. Mechanics have helpers."
"I see," Jewels commented as he thought about asking for one of his pokemon from his cousin. He had a feeling that they were probably staying with Ashleigh, but he didn't mind much. They were in good hands. Solana let out a pusle.
"This is my buddy, Penny," Solana said and Karrie starred at it. She could tell from being around trainers a lot that this pokemon was a bit of a veteran. So why was it with someone who seemed to have no clue about anything?
"Maybe we'll get one too, one day," Karrie said and Jewels nodded along.
~with Kaleb~
"Yo! Kaleb! Buddy!" Jackie exclaimed and Kaleb immediately turned around and started to walk the other way. "Aw, come on." He caught up with his fellow ranger and put his arm around Kaleb's shoulders. "Can we talk? In private?" Kaleb glanced over at him and flicked his arm off as he sighed.
"Amuse me, I have to patrol Chroma Ruins," Kaleb said and so Jackie joined him. "Talk, blondie."
"Aren't you a pleasant ray of sunshine?" Jackie asked sarcastically. "You have a girlfriend, right?" Kaleb nodded. "Do you think you could help me?"
"Depends, because some of the help you need, a psychiatrist is needed." Kaleb replied.
"Ha ha, very funny," Jackie commented as he rolled his eyes. "It's about Zenya."
"What about her?" Kaleb asked.
"I am starting to notice these, feelings, and they seem to be directed towards her," Jackie replied and Kaleb looked at him like he had two heads. "What?"
"Oh no, don't mind me, continue," Kaleb replied as he wondered when he became the love expert for his fellow rangers.
"I get really happy when she smiles or talks more than normal, I feel like holding her and protecting her whenever she is down, and for some reason, the thought of ever losing her or her ever leaving, it terrifies me, it's like I need her as much as I need air to breath," Jackie explained along with his other feelings. "So what's the diagnosis?"
"I feel bad for Zenya, but it sounds like you're in love with her," Kaleb bluntly said. His words clicked inside Jackie's brain. Jackie put his hands on Kaleb's shoulders.
"You're right! How could I not realize that?!" Jackie exclaimed. "I should tell her."
"Are you sure? This is Zenya and you have been acting horribly around her for the past year or so," Kaleb said. He sighed. Ashleigh was rubbing off on him.
"Wow, typically you could care less," Jackie replied and Kaleb scowled. "It's your girl, isn't it? She's a good influence, bringing out the good in you." Kaleb tried to glare at him while his face turned bright red. Jackie smiled. "I'm going to try my hardest to win Zenya over, thank you. I knew coming to you was the right idea, despite hurting my pride."
"Whatever," Kaleb said. "Just don't come crying to me." After Jackie left, Kaleb called Ashleigh. "You're turning me into a softie."
"You already were a softie, what happened?" Ashleigh said in response as she answered using her transceiver. Kaleb sighed and ran his fingers through his hair.
"Jackie grabbed hold of me and insisted on talking with me in private," Kaleb started to explain.
"The blonde one who is a bit of a playboy and a flirt?" Ashleigh asked and Kaleb nodded.
"He tagged along for my patrol and then brought you up," Kaleb replied.
"Oh?" Ashleigh asked.
"Apparently dating you makes me more qualified to help sort out others' feelings," Kaleb replied as he rolled his eyes. Ashleigh laughed. "He started to talk about Zenya, the quiet tall female mechanic."
"I've met her, she's a strong woman, admirable," Ashleigh commented.
"Why am I not surprised?" Kaleb asked and Ashleigh shrugged. "Anyways, he started to talk about her and the feelings he has started to notice. The guy was so obviously in love with her, it was annoying."
"It's good though, that he felt like he could talk about something so personal with you, right?" Ashleigh asked and Kaleb rose his eyebrows. "From what you've told me and what I've seen, the guys are brought up without knowing how to identify the feeling of true love or what to do with it. I think it's sweet of you to help him out." Kaleb blushed and played with his bangs.
"Yeah, well, if the rest of the guys start going to me for love advice, then it will all be your fault, just so you know," Kaleb said and Ashleigh rolled her eyes. "I'm not used to be the feelings guy, that's more Kellyn."
"You've always been a feelings guy, you've just have hid it so deep that no one who never grew up right next to you could ever see it, until I came into the picture and they started to see how you act when your walls start to come down," Ashleigh replied. "They're starting to see what's been clear to me for the longest time. You're reliable, sympathetic, caring, and don't try to argue with on that. There is no way you could be partners with a lucario or have a riolu immediately become fond of you if feelings and emotions were not a big part of you. You're remarkable and the Union is very lucky to have someone like you working for them."
"You're something, you know that?" Kaleb asked while a smile tugged at his lips. "I love you."
"I love you too," Ashleigh replied.
"How's the moving process going?" Kaleb asked.
"Uh, it's going. Grandpa and dad are sending me some furniture they made and mom is sending other things supposedly useful for a house," Ashleigh replied and Kaleb laughed. "My pokemon, the rest of them, are supposed to be coming soon. They won't tell me when or how though."
"Sounds like your pokemon and your family in a nutshell," Kaleb commented with a smile. "Where are you? We could meet up as soon as my patrols are over, or you could happen to be going in the direction as me as I patrol." Ashleigh laughed and rolled her eyes.
"I'm heading to Pueltown. Remember Moon?" Ashleigh said and Kaleb nodded. "Well, she somehow got so lost she ended up in the Ranger School. Nathan called me and had me pick her up. Is the Union aware how easy it is to get on campus via the beach and that the doors are almost always unlocked?"
"Probably not," Kaleb admitted.
"Some of my pokemon need something to do, so I might just let them patrol that area," Ashleigh said. "Anyways, so I have to make sure Moon gets to her sister, who is shopping in Pueltown, safely. Where are you?"
"Chroma Ruins," Kaleb replied. "Stay in Pueltown. I have to take a boat from there to Haruba Desert."
"Something tells me that you're pushing a few rules, aren't you?" Ashleigh asked and Kaleb rolled his eyes.
"As long as we don't cause a crash because we were kissing or something, I think we'll be fine,"Kaleb replied and he watched his girlfriend turn bright red. "I'm being serious though, no causing boat crashes. Keep me and Lucario company."
"Why do I have a feeling something happened in the past for this rule to be created?" Ashleigh asked.
"Because Sven crashed an expensive boat while on patrol because he was making out with, now who was it again?" Kaleb replied as he looked at Lucario for help. The pokemon barked something in response. "Right, Sandy." Ashleigh's eyebrows rose. "He's had quite a few girlfriends, dates, and lovers in the past, okay?" Ashleigh shook her head. "Anyways, after that, it was announced that if we were on duty, then it was expected that we would not bring anyone who would cause distractions big enough to cause expensive equipment to be destroyed or endanger lives."
"So I'm not distracting?" Ashleigh asked.
"No, you can be very distracting," Kaleb admitted. "You and your pokemon just won't let me accidentally crash a boat."
"Alright, fine, I'll meet you at the harbor, stubborn boy," Ashleigh replied.
"Alright, see you there, stubborn girl," Kaleb commented before hanging up. He smiled as his hand slid up his face and on top of his head."What she does to me, it's amazing."
~with Keith~
Keith groaned as he stared at the ceiling of his bedroom. He was so bored since coming out of the hospital. Keith was glad Rhythmi had obligations to fulfill at the schools so that she wasn't hovering over him constantly, but he was still so bored. He heard the door open and he just hoped it wasn't someone trying to kill him. He looked over and sighed as Kate peeked into the room with his buizel and her misdreavus.
"Kellyn or Rhyth here?" Keith asked and Kate shook her head as she walked into the room. "Just you?" Kate nodded as pulled a chair over so that she could sit next to him. "Aren't you quiet today?" Kate smiled. "No one saw you come in?"
"No," Kate replied while smiling.
"Kate, pumpkin, why are you here?" Keith asked and Kate blushed.
"Can't I visit my goofy best guy friend just 'cause?" Kate asked as she put her head close to his. "I knew you'd be bored and I have today off."
"I am bored," Keith admitted and Kate kissed him. "Who are you trying to make jealous? Who has gotten so upset that you're coming to me and throwing yourself at me? Not like I mind, you're not a bad kisser." He ran his fingers through her brown bangs. Kate winced. "If you love someone, then don't go kissing players."
"What if I'm in love with a player?" Kate asked.
"Like you're a fool," Keith replied as he rolled his eyes. "You know how your relationship with Sven went. You know how dating me went. Don't make me guess."
"Why can't you just let me use you to drown out my sorrows, like old times?" Kate asked as tears started to form in her eyes.
"Kate, you really need to see a professional," Keith replied as he pat her head. "Besides, I feel like if I continue down the path I'm heading that I won't be able to survive the consequences." Kate bursted into tears.
"Kaleb's in a serious relationship," Kate said.
"So? Oh," Keith commented. "Really? Mister Grumpy Pants? I would have thought Kellyn would be more your type."
"Sure Kaleb's grumpy, teases, is sarcastic, gives people a hard time, makes you feel stupid, but I crushed on him," Kate said. "I never did anything because I was afraid and thought I had plenty of time."
"I still can't see you and Kal making even a decent couple," Keith admitted. "You still should see a professional."
"Like you're much better," Kate replied as she rolled her eyes.
"But I'm serious," Keith said. "This game we're all playing is getting old. Maybe there is more to life than what we're used to. Of course, maybe this is just something you go through after being shot at and almost bled to death."
"Are you actually maturing?" Kate asked and Keith gave her a goofy cocky grin. The two began to make out when the door creaked open. The two stopped and were in horror as Kellyn looked at them with wide eyes. "It's not what you think!"
"Don't tell Rhyth!" Keith exclaimed.
"What am I suppose to think or say?" Kellyn asked as his body shook. "You two had each other's tongues down each others' throats!" Keith shrugged and Kate panicked.
"Wait, Kellyn! It's my fault! I grew up knowing only to go and get something romantically inclined whenever I'm frustrated or upset!" Kate exclaimed.
"Yeah, she's like to use me, wait a minute, that doesn't sound too great, does it?" Keith asked. "I tried to stop her." Kellyn shook his head and clenched his fists before running out of the room.
"Do you think he'll blab?" Kate asked. "What do we do?"
"I'm restricted to bed rest so it's all on you until he comes back," Keith commented and Kate glared at him. "What? You're the one who kissed me." Kate sighed and decided to run after Kellyn.
~at the Union~
"Come on, darling, I bought you the necklace you wanted," Sven said as Linda walked away angrily.
"Yes, but you still said her name, not mine," Linda replied.
"It was only once, love," Sven said as Crawford walked in.
"What's shaking?" Crawford asked.
"Linda's got her panties in a knot because Sven did somethin' wrong again," Wendy replied.
"Why is there so much drama in these parts these days?" Crawford asked.
"How's Luana?" Wendy asked and Crawford blushed.
"Same old Luana, you know," Crawford replied. Jackie walked into the room while holding an ice pack to his head. "What happened to you?"
"I may have been a bit too enthusiastic," Jackie admitted.
"Oh?" Wendy asked.
"I canceled all my date plans and then filled the mechanical room with roses," Jackie replied.
"That there would explain why the stone queen looked so ticked earlier," Wendy commented. "No messin' with our work, got it?"
"Trust me, they made it very clear," Jackie replied. "What did you do this time, Sven?"
"We were making out and then he moaned the name of another girl!" Linda exclaimed and Sven turned red from embarrassment.
"Dude! That's the worst mistake you can make!" Jackie exclaimed.
"Shut up!" Sven exclaimed. "I don't want to hear it from you!"
"So much drama these days," Crawford commented.
"Preach it afro man," Wendy replied with a nod.
"Don't any of you have work to do?" Mr. Arlington asked and a chill shot down every single one of their spines.
"Oh right, would you look at the time!" Sven exclaimed. "Linda, I'll talk to you later! I have to go the icy wonderland for patrols!"
"Right, Boyeland for me!" Jackie exclaimed. "Good luck." The two ran off.
"I just have to pick up something from Professor Hastings, Barlow's orders!" Crawford exclaimed before running off.
"I got to head for t' lab!" Wendy exclaimed as she also ran off.
"Right, I was on my way to meet Erma," Linda commented before also running off.
"So a rule of fear is what you want," Mr. Arlington quietly muttered to himself.
~end of chapter~
Ben: O.O Well, that escalated quickly
Summer: why so much drama?
Rhythmi: poor Kellyn
Karrie: I am so close to murdering Keith
Keith:Kate was at fault too!
Jackie: ='( trying too hard hurts
Kaleb: you people weird me out
Wendy: Sven crashed a boat because he was distracted by a girl?!
Sven: don't laugh! It happens!
Lunick: not really
Nathan: T.T can't believe that Moon's ability to get lost so easily came in handy this chapter
Solana: what happened to my personality in this story?
Me: you'll see, eventually
Linda: Lunick's father is terrifying
Lunick: T.T
Ashleigh: O.o I think this is becoming the most drama filled intense story I've been a part of
Kellyn: what about The Thing With Hajimes?
Ashleigh: I was just introduced in the story in the last chapter or so only to leave shortly after T.T doesn't count
Ben: I wonder if it's too much though
Me: well, I've been trying to use aurashipping and Ben to lighten the moods, but I feel like I need to add more light hearted stuff.
Summer: Hey readers! Tell us your opinion, comments, reflections, etc. about anything in the chapters! We appreciate it!
Ben: who are you talking to?
Lunick: don't mind her, she's just breaking the fourth wall
Me: T.T
Lunick: but reviews are a good idea
Me: I really need to work on getting the fun Lunick back
Ashleigh: when are we going to get to the festival and concert?
Me: eventually, and once that happens, that should provide a lot more lightheartedness and fun-ness
Teah: looking forward to it then!
Me: also, if you want to request/suggest having certain characters/interactions/pairings/shippings stuff have a little bit of spot light or something like that, then feel free to mention it
Lunick: so if you mention something about wanting to see more close calls with Summer (like a reviewer already suggested and it was very good suggestion) then we'll, I mean Ash will, take into consideration and you may see it pop up in future chapters.
Me: so yeah, reviews are great!
Keith: I feel like Lunick just stole my job T.T
Lunick: actually do your job and then you'd have nothing to worry about =P
Me: Lunick, go eat some ice cream, you need it
Lunick: T.T fine *eats ice cream and turns back to goofy old self*
Me: *waves* Well, that's all for today!
