1 Week Later
Peter walked toward the Daily Bugle he had just came from school and he was going to the Daily Bugle to get a job
If he was going to start anew he needed a job so he decided to get a job to take pictures of himself
which means he'd occasionally need to go out and flip around and take some pictures of it
"Well I'm sure going to miss being spiderman" Peter said to himself as he entered Daily Bugle walking to a elevator
He clicked the green button and he waited as he thought of all the things he was going to do now that he wasn't spiderman anymore
The door opened and he stepped in placing his hands in his pocket
He clicked the button that had Floor 10 marked on it and the doors slowly closed
"HEY HOLD THE DOOR HOLD IT!" A Man shouted running for the elevator
Peter placed his foot in the way of the elevator doors blocking it and keeping it from closing
The Man took a step in sighing in relief breathing hard
"What floor?" Peter asked
"10" The Man said wiping some sweat off his forehead
"Hey were going to the same floor" Peter said
"Oh good by the way my name's Eddie Brock" Eddie said as the doors opened
They walked out of the elevator both heading towards Jameson's office
"So what are you doing here?" Eddie asked
"Trying to get a job" Peter said
"Oh believe me that's going to be hard anyways good luck you can go first" Eddie said
Peter walked into the office to see Jameson
Peter sighed knowing this was going to be hard
Sir Peter said
"SHUSH! I'M BUSY HERE" Jameson shouted
Peter jumped a little surprised
Peter silently took out 4 photos and he placed them down on the desk sitting down
"What do you want kid.." Jameson said
Peter slid the photos over to him
"A job" Peter said simply
Jameson grabbed the photos looking at them
He was amazed he was the first one to ever get a clear picture of Spiderman but he hid his amazement
"Your not getting a job but I'll give you 50 buck" Jameson said
"50 Bucks each?" Peter asked
"Nope I'll give you 50 bucks for these photos" Jameson said
Peter stayed silent glaring at Jameson for a few seconds
Peter snatched the photos from his hand
"50 BUCKS!?" Peter shouted
"20 for yelling at me" Jameson said
"You know what J.J screw you! these photos are worth at least 102 dollars and if your not willing to negotiate" Peter said
"I'll go to a better place I bet they'll pay me more for these photos" Peter said
"AND ALSO your top right now but not for long cause once I give these photos to another publisher you won't be top" Peter said
Peter walked toward the door
"WAIT!" Jameson said
Jameson sighed
Peter paused at the door secretly smiling
Jameson pulled out a check writing a few words
"What's your name kid.." Jameson asked
"Peter Parker" Peter said
Peter turned handing the photos to Jameson and snatching the check from him
Peter walked out of the office confidently
Eddie looked at him for a second and walked inside the office
"Now time to go check on Connors to see if he's done with the gene cleanser" Peter thought to himself
He walked out of the building walking into a alleyway he switched into his costume and fired a webline swinging out of the alleyway and in the direction of his lab
Connors looked at a blood sample through a microscope which Spiderman gave him just a week ago
"Hey you done with my gene cleanser?" Spiderman asked right behind him
Connors spun around
"Sorry about that I should've knocked.." Spiderman said flipping on to Connor's desk
"It's done but if you mind me asking why would you want to remove your abilities?" Connors asked opening a fridge pulling out a vial filled with purple liquid
"I just... it's to much I have almost died twice and I can't handle the pressure I have so much to live for you know?" Spiderman said
Connor nods handing it to him
"By the way this won't work instantly it will take at least 48 hours or less for it to reverse your DNA back to normal" Connors said
"Thanks" Spiderman backed up toward the window flipping out he fired a webline swinging off
"No thank you" Connors said when he swung out of distance
"Thanks to his blood now I know how to regrow my arm.." Connors said
"I noticed that his blood seemed to have traces of radiation in it so that means he used the Neogenic Recombinator" Connors thought to himself
He walked to the corner of his room uncovering the Neogenic Recombinator
