"Test 2" Connors said into his recorder placing it down he aimed the Neogenic Recombinator at a lizard in the cage
He switched on all the controls firing a beam of radiation at the lizard it hit the lizard after 10 seconds he switched off the controls
The lizard moved around unaffected
He grabbed his recorder
"You see it copied the lizard's DNA into itself similar to a copy machine and it was a small amount of radiation so it did not damage the lizard" Connors said
Connors placed the recorder down he pulled off his lab coat he typed something into the machine
He grabbed the recorder once again
"So now I will need to fire the Recombinator at myself and it will fire the copied DNA of the lizard and a dose of radiation into me" Connors said
"Giving me the trait that lizards have which is healing at alarming rates" Connors said with a grin placing the recorder down he walked in front of the recombinator
"Voice control on" Connors said
"Fire at my say so" Connors said taking a breath knowing this was dangerous
'... FIRE!" Connors shouted and the Recombinator glowed with a greenish yellow radiation it fired a blast of radiation into him
"AAAAAAAAAAH!" Connors shouted almost instantly he felt excruciating pain unlike any other
"TURN OFF!" Connors shouted and a few seconds after it turned off
Connors dropped to the floor in pain he felt a sharp pain in his arm suddenly tendrils of flesh flew out of where his arm used to be
Connors screamed in pain the tendrils of flesh came together forming into a new arm
Connors looked at his new arm in amazement clenching it and unclenching it
Tears of joy fell from his eyes he wiped them away standing to his feet and he hurried out of the lab
He opened the door to his home he closed the door behind him closing and locking it behind him
His wife walked downstairs into the living room rubbing her eyes
"Curt..?" She said
"Oh my god..." She said looking at his new arm
"You regrew your arm...? OH MY GOD CURT!" She exclaimed running to him hugging him tightly
They both hugged each other
"Martha.. I'm sorry for not being there a lot when you needed me for the past 5 years I swear I will be there for you and Billy always I love you" He said
They shared a kiss
"Speaking of Billy let me call him down he'll be so excited to see you" Martha said with a smile
He nodded in agreement
"BILLY!" Martha shouted
Billy came downstairs
"Daddy!" He said running to him tackle hugging him
His dad caught him lifting him
"How's my little man hmm?" He asked
"I'm good I made a drawing of you and me and mommy!" Billy said with a smile
"You did? I can't wait to see it but.. what do you say we all go out? just to celebrate?" Connors asked
Billy nodded
"Oh.. I guess it wouldn't hurt okay lets go get dressed" She said placing her hand On Billy's back both walked up the stairs
Connors smiled he suddenly felt a urge to scratch his neck he scratched at his neck repeatedly little did he know there was scales growing on the back of his neck
Connors ordered three ribs and a burger and Martha got some wings and Billy got a Junior Burger
He was eating like a beast tearing at his ribs eating the rib meat
"Curt... stop eating like that your eating like a beast..." She said shaking her head
Connors dropped a bone he was gnawing on he suddenly scratched himself some more
"Curt are you okay?" She asked
"I'm sorry I don't know what's gotten over me" Connors said wiping some hot sauce away from his mouth
He scratched at his arm
"I think it's time we go..." Connors said placing down the money plus a tip they walked out to the car
"RAGH!" Connors stopped for a second leaning against the car he squeezed the door handle and suddenly it was crushed in his grip
Some scales grew all over his body including the back of his neck and his face it was visible to both of them
"AAAAAH!" He shouted in pain clawing the door in pain large claws slid out of his fingertips slowly and painfully
He dropped to the floor the rest of the transformation happening
Billy screamed in horror holding his mother both were surprised and scared
He looked up from the ground at them he had scales all over his body and he had a large tail which was whipping around he also grew in size
"R-Run..." His voice sounded like a hiss and suddenly his eyes went from normal to yellow and slits appeared in them he stood up and roared in rage
She grabbed Billy running for her life
Captain Stacy walked out of a gas station walking to his police car he heard a scream for a help he turned quickly to see two people being chased by a giant lizard
His eyes widened in amazement
"Holy sh*t.." He whispered to himself he pulled out his gun running in their direction
They both continued to run heading for the gas station
She felt a giant claw graze her back she screamed in pain falling Billy tried to grab her hand and help her up but failed to
"MOMMY MOMMY!" He shouted
She whimpered she rolled on her back looking at the large Lizard-Humanoid creature that use to be her husband
Suddenly two bullets whizzed through the air nailing The Lizard in the chest and snout
The Lizard stumbled backwards roaring in pain
She stood up recovering picking up Billy again
"OVER HERE!" Captain Stacy shouted
She ran in the Captain's direction she hurried to him
The Lizard was recovering the bullets slid out of the bullet wounds and the wounds healed
The Captain helped them into his police vehicle he leaped into the driver seat he saw The Lizard running at them at incredible speeds
He slammed his foot on the pedal driving out of the gas station
The Lizard was charging after them managing to catch up
He steered out of the way of traffic
The Lizard smacked some cars away with his powerful tail
Peter was leaning on his elbow studying for a test with Gwen
Peter was scribbling on the paper while Gwen was on his computer
Suddenly there was some noise from the radio on the corner of the table
It was a police radio he had stolen earlier in his career
"Hey your radio just turned on.." Gwen picked up the radio looking at it
"Uh Gwen I think it's getting late I think you should go home" He said with a fake yawn
"But it's 8:32 pm and we just started" Gwen said
"Sorry we'll start on it tomorrow morning" Peter said standing up
"Promise?" Gwen said
"Promise.." Peter said
"Bye" Gwen said walking out of the room closing the door behind her
Peter sat back down grabbing the radio turning it up higher clearing up the blurriness
"ALL UNITS I NEED BACKUP NOW THERE'S SOMETHING AFTER ME IT'S A L-" There was suddenly a crash in the background
"Damn it... I need to help him I can't just be selfish and not help him" Peter said to himself
He grabbed a shoe box from underneath his bed he opened it
"One more time buddy one more time.." He put on his costume he went back to the computer
"Don't they put trackers in Police cars if I were to swing over to the police station I could track him and find out where he is" Spiderman said
He nodded and he pulled up the window flipping out and swinging away
