If I Were A Boy
Me: so requests for more focus on Ben and Summer and to see chemistry between Rhythmi and Kellyn
Kellyn: *chokes on his tea* wait, what?
Keith: you were already planning to focus more on Summer and Ben
Me: yes, but they have a point. I may have been focusing a little to much trying to set up stuff that will affect the two in the future and whatnot
Keith: As long as you don't kill me, do whatever you want
Me: T.T excuse me, I'm the author
Kellyn: O.o I'm so confused, what's this about chemistry?
Me: =.=" and I thought Karrie and Topaz were dense
Karrie: Oi, keep me out of it. So far I haven't been involved in any romance in this story and I'd like to keep it that way
Me: Karrie, lying is bad
Jewels: let's just get on with it! These heels are killing me!
Karrie: I agree, that and this skirt for the school uniform is way too restricting
Keith: pokelover0ash does not own anything except for her OCs.
Kaleb: oh hey look, he's actually doing his job
Keith: buzz off, at least you got a decent role in this story as far as lighting goes
Me: you have the opportunity to come into the light eventually, slowly, but eventually
Karrie: T.T why do I have a feeling I'm going to like this about as much Zenya likes cleaning up Jackie's mess of flowers?
Zenya: that would be the sixth sense of the-crazy-authoress-is-going-to-torture-me-and-pair-me-with-someone-isn't-she
Me: sure, the one time you really talk on this thing and you attempt to insult me
Jackie: welcome to my life after you created her
Me: you're life doesn't seem very welcoming, if that's your life
Jackie: I'm starting to see how Zenya got some of her traits T.T
Me: what are you trying to say?
Nathan: stop talking and get on with the chapter
Me: fine T.T
Chapter 9
"So, today's Friday, what are we doing tonight?" Lunick asked as lounged back in a comfy chair.
"Same thing we do every night," Summer replied.
"Try to take over the world," Ben added. The two grinned like idiots at each other before giving each other a high five.
"Pinky and the Brain, really?" Lunick asked.
"Is it possible for either of you to not manage to make a reference to something?" Nathan asked. "You two can be such nerds."
"I'm sorry, Dave. I'm afraid I can't do that," Ben replied.
"Space Odyssey, nice!" Summer commented.
"Thank you," Ben replied with a smile and Lunick groaned. Nathan's eyebrows rose.
"I understood that reference," Lunick commented and both Summer and Ben looked at him with big smiles on their faces. "Gosh, darn it! I made a reference to that Avengers movie by accident!" Nathan looked at his phone.
"Your girlfriend get back okay?" Ben asked and Nathan blushed.
"Not my girlfriend, but yeah, she did," Nathan replied.
"Hey guys! Wanna join us for movie night? We're playing horror movies," a fellow classmate said as he approached the group of four.
"Yeah, why not?" Lunick asked as Ben tried to not seem freaked out. Summer was delighted to be able to watch a horror movie. It was so hard to get people to watch stuff with her since her brother was away most of the time, her mother wasn't a big fan of them, and Karrie was absolutely terrified of them. Nathan remained to look indifferent. After their classmates were out of hearing range, Ben looked at his roommates.
"We're really not going to watch horror movies are we?" Ben asked.
"Why not?" Lunick asked with a shrug of the shoulders.
"Scared?" Nathan asked.
"I wonder if they'll be playing any good horror movies," Summer commented.
"You like those things?" Ben exclaimed.
"Sure," Summer replied with a shrug.
"You're the only guy I know of, Ben, who is terrified of horror movies," Lunick commented.
"I'm not terrified of them!" Ben protested. "I just don't like them."
"Okay, if you say so," Summer said. "Just don't try to crawl into bed with any of us if you get a nightmare."
"No fair! Even Sam's teasing me," Ben whined.
"I'd be more worried by the fact that there is a rumor that a few students failed their first test so now they have to take it again tomorrow," Lunick said and Ben paled.
"Crap, I was supposed to study for that," Ben commented.
"You failed that?" Nathan asked as his eyebrows rose. "That thing was so easy."
"Oh shut up! I know that!" Ben exclaimed.
"Then why did you fail?" Summer asked.
"You haven't been paying much attention to the lectures in class, have you?" Lunick asked.
"No, thank you for noticing," Ben replied.
"Well, good luck, hope you don't fail, I heard if you fail the same test multiple times in a row, then you risk getting kicked out," Summer commented.
"I don't wanna be kicked out!" Ben exclaimed. "Lunick, help me?"
"You're on your own for this one," Lunick said before leaving. Ben turned to Nathan who got up and left without saying a word.
"Saaaaaaaam," Ben said and Summer sweat dropped.
"Fine, what are you having trouble with?" Summer asked and Ben showed her his graded test paper. "A 10?!"
"I got that because I put my name and date on the paper," Ben explained. "Oh and I got one of the short answers right, the one about what Pokemon are." Summer face palmed and groaned. "What?"
"This is going to be a long day," Summer mumbled. "Alright, I guess we'll start from the beginning." Two hours later and Ben was surprised at how much he was able to understand. "How are you doing? Do you want to take a break?"
"This is awesome, you're amazing, Sam," Ben exclaimed and Summer tried to not blush. "I didn't think it was possible for me to understand so much so quickly!"
"It's only about half the test material," Summer mumbled as she looked over the test. "Nope, actually just a third, yay." Her brother's natural sarcastic charm rubbing off on her was starting to show.
"Thank you for helping me, Sam," Ben said with a big smile and Summer inwardly swore as her heart pounded against her chest. Ben sometimes made it hard for Summer to be a guy because he managed to make her feel like a girl every once in a while, especially when he smiles at her like that.
"No problem," Summer replied and Ben got up. "Where are you going? You're nowhere near ready for that test."
"I'll be back, don't worry," Ben said and a couple of minutes later, sure enough, he came back. Ben had an armful of goodies that included soda cans, chips, and candy bars. "Hungry? My treat." Summer took a candy bar and a soda as Ben sat down. They continued for the next couple of hours until Ben understood enough to pass, or do more than just pass. "Thanks Sam! You're the best!" Summer smiled slightly despite being exhausted. "You're so smart and patient!"
'You can thank my brother and Karrie for that one.' Summer thought.
Meanwhile, Ashleigh was walking towards the docks with her riolu out of its pokeball when her pokemon let out a worried cry. Ashleigh glanced down at Riolu before her eyes widened. She ran over with her pokemon to where there was a bit of disruption in the auras around them.
"Hey, are you alright?" Ashleigh asked and when she noticed it was Kellyn burying his head in his knees as he clung to his legs for dear life hiding behind a boating equipment shack that was a well secluded area of Pueltown. Her eyes widened. "Kellyn?" Ashleigh knelt down beside Kellyn as Riolu put its paws on Kellyn's arm. Kellyn lifted his head a little and glanced at her. His blue eyes were watery and starting to turn red and swollen, a sign of crying a lot. "Do you want to talk about?" Kellyn rested his chin on his knees as Ashleigh sat next to him.
"I didn't think anyone would find me here," Kellyn quietly commented and Ashleigh quickly looked around at her surroundings. It was almost impossible for someone to see anyone behind the shack thanks to nature meeting city in a strange yet calming fashion.
"Riolu could feel and see that there was someone in the area who was in distress, sad, hurting, borderline depressed, thinking negative thoughts, and whatnot," Ashleigh said. "I've been around lucarios and riolus for so long that I am able to sense auras to a point. You stood out like a sore thumb in this area with how your aura is like right now, even for someone who isn't an expert on auras. I didn't expect to find you to be what he was sensing." Riolu looked at Kellyn with concerned eyes.
"Figures, I always wondered how Kaleb and Lucario would always show up whenever something was off with me," Kellyn muttered and Ashleigh smiled slightly.
"Whatever happened, just know that you have people in your life who care and are there for you," Ashleigh said as she leaned back, Kellyn looked more depressed as he tried to keep everything in. Ashleigh rubbed his back a little, in order to comfort him. Her eevee, vulpix, ampharos, and absol came out of their pokeballs. Vulpix decided to poke Kellyn with her paw over and over again as if it wanted Kellyn to spill already and it wanted to hear why he was upset. Ampharos quickly gathered a few berries and herbs to offer Kellyn while Absol sat down and stared at Kellyn. Eevee prepared itself for an attack. Eevee ran towards Kellyn, and Kellyn, not being familiar with Ashleigh's Eevee's behaviors, scooped it up.
"Um, I'd be careful with that one," Ashleigh commented.
"Hmm? Why?" Kellyn asked as he went to stroke the eevee. Eevee bit Kellyn's hand hard. "OW!" Ashleigh pulled Eevee off of Kellyn before sighing.
"She hates most males and tries to bite them and/or attack them whenever they're within a certain range." Ashleigh explained as she kept the struggling feisty eevee in her arms. "I'm so sorry she did that."
"It's alright, you tried to warn me, and there was no blood anyways," Kellyn replied quietly. A lucario popped its head over the side of the shack. It barked as if it recognized the people and pokemon it was seeing. "Lucario?" Lucario looked at him with worry written in its eyes. It crouched down and pat Kellyn's head. Kaleb appeared soon after and he looked very surprised at what he was seeing. Eevee broke free and launched a headbutt attack into Kaleb's chest. Eevee barked happily with a smile as Kaleb caught the pokemon in his arms.
"What did I miss?" Kaleb asked. He crouched down and looked at Kellyn. "Well, you've looked better." Eevee rubbed her head against Kaleb's chest. Kellyn reached over and scratched Eevee behind the ear which she loved.
"Thanks," Kellyn replied. "I went to check on Keith, seeing as he's my best friend and all."
"What did Keith do?" Kaleb asked in a dead serious tone that gave off a hint that he was prepared to murder the redhead depending on how the story went. Absol glanced at Kaleb.
"I walked in on him and Kate making out," Kellyn replied as he gripped his legs.
"Oh no," Ashleigh muttered as she ran her fingers through Kellyn's bangs. Both Absol and Kaleb glared at Kellyn for a split second for the attention he was receiving from Ashleigh. Both had to stop staring because Eevee decided to start biting Kaleb's fingers.
"You had a crush on Kate, right?" Kaleb asked as he glared at Eevee who thought it was being cute by gnawing on his hands. Vulpix batted at his boots. Kaleb sighed and sat down. "Hold on for a sec, Ashleigh, your pokemon are weird and sometimes a pain." He took off his boot and tossed it for Vulpix to chase. Absol perked up and Eevee decided it wanted the other boot. Throwing the other boot to keep the eevee distracted for a bit, Kaleb noticed that Absol was staring at him and seemed disappointed that it didn't get a shoe to play with. He sighed and took off his jacket. "Fine, here." He gave Absol his jacket and it walked off with it in order to join Eevee and Vulpix. "So, Kate."
"Yeah, I had fallen in love with her," Kellyn said.
"She seemed like such a nice girl," Ashleigh commented.
"She is," Kellyn replied. "The fact that she was making out with her best friend's boyfriend seems out of character for her, but I saw it with my own two eyes."
"It's strange though, never would have guessed that she would ever have a thing for Keith," Kaleb commented.
"It wasn't like either of them admitted they were wrong or anything, just 'don't tell Rhythmi,' like I want or need to bring her even more bad news," Kellyn said.
"Kellyn? Are you here? Can we talk?" Kate asked as she wandered through with her misdreavus. She looked surprised to see Kaleb and Ashleigh. "It's all a big misunderstanding."
"Misunderstanding? How can one misunderstand two people making out?" Kellyn asked, outraged. Kate started to tear up.
"I've always been taught that if you're frustrated, upset, or something isn't going your way to go and find relief through kissing and whatnot," Kate admitted. "Keith's the only one I know here who wouldn't brag or blab about being used and kissed by me. He also can't help but kiss back or make out with a girl he finds at least a little bit attractive so I've been taking advantage of his flaws. Please don't tell Rhythmi, it's not Keith's fault."
"Like Keith's the only one who want or try to help you get through your problems," Kellyn commented.
"What the heck could you be so upset about that you would go kissing and making out with a boy you don't even love?" Ashleigh asked. "And he's partially responsible, it takes two to make out or kiss." Kate bit her lip before slowly pointing at Kaleb.
"What the heck did I do?" Kaleb asked and Kate shaked a little as she pointed at Ashleigh. "We've only kissed, we haven't gotten that far." Lucario and Ampharos whacked Kaleb for Ashleigh. "Ow, I probably deserved that." Ampharos agreed with him while Lucario stayed silent.
"You're dating her! And you seem so serious about it!" Kate exclaimed as tears streamed down her face. "I've had a crush on you for the longest time, I thought I had more time to tell you and have a chance and then she comes in! It's not fair! I liked you first." Kaleb sighed as he noticed that Absol, Vulpix, and Eevee were visibly debating on whether or not they were going to try to take out Kate.
"That's no excuse!" Ashleigh exclaimed as Kellyn's heart shattered into a million pieces. "Things don't always work out the way we want. You have to just stand strong and work through it."
"And for the record, you've never been anymore than an annoying friend to me," Kaleb commented.
"You're not helping," Ashleigh commented and Kaleb shifted uncomfortably, knowing his safest bet now was to keep quiet because his girlfriend was angry and riled up. Adding fuel to the fire was not a very good thing at this point.
"I can't help it! It's how I've been raised," Kate yelled and Ashleigh stood up. Kaleb winced while Kellyn was startled. "I never knew my father and my mother would just go from man to man whenever she was upset or anything like that! My sisters weren't much better! It's not my fault!" A loud crack sounded through the air as both boys' eyes widened. Kate was surprised as she felt the hand collide hard against the skin of her cheek. It stung and hurt; it probably would be bruised and swollen in the morning. Kate cupped her cheek as she looked up to the owner of the hand. Her baby blue eyes met a pair of angry azure eyes that belonged to Ashleigh, a girl who Kate now realized was a formidable strong woman and not just a kind, sweet face. Kate was confused. Why did Ashleigh slap her? This had nothing to do with the trainer and yet it was like Kate had managed to do more than tick Ashleigh off because she had accidentally hurt those that were friends of the brunette. It was like the wrong cord was struck.
"Yes, you can help it," Ashleigh managed to say as she seethed with anger. "You are more than a product of your raising! Stop using your upbringing as an excuse!"
"What do you know?" Kate shouted.
"If I was a product of my raising, then I would hate the idea of a family and would have been married off to a knight or a prince by now," Ashleigh replied. "That being just the tip of the iceberg. One set of grandparents are rich stuck up snobs who caused so much family drama while trying to keep me happy with money and status. My other set of grandparents wanted me to become a professional carpenter and scoop miltank poop for the rest of my life. My parents could never stand up against either or them. Barely anyone from my hometown ever leaves and if they do, they almost always come back. Yet here I am. You do not have to be restrained by your past and upbringing. Stop making excuses for yourself or you're never going to get past this."
"I don't care! You've only been here for a couple weeks! Why should I listen to you?" Kate asked.
"You have a point, but Ashleigh is right, Kate," Kaleb commented before Eevee decided to headbutt Kate. Ashleigh pushed Kate out of the way, realizing that the little pokemon was using Zen Headbutt, something that could break rocks and trees. Ashleigh didn't want to know what it would do to Kate's bones.
"What was that for?" Kate asked and she watched a large thick strong tree fall over from Eevee's attack. "Oh. Isn't that your pokemon? Don't you have any control?"
"Unfortunately, they all have minds of their owns, just like your misdreavus, though most of the time I feel very fortunate that they are unique," Ashleigh replied. "Eevee hates most males, has an attitude problem, a big temper, and I swear sometimes she thinks she's a salamence. Knowing her, she was getting frustrated with you."
"How do you know that?" Kate asked as Eevee walked over to rub her head against Ashleigh's leg before sneaking a death glare at Kate. "Why does she hate me?"
"I've known her for so long, it's hard not to be able to read her," Ashleigh replied. "She probably doesn't like you because she can tell you're the reason why Kellyn is hurting, why I got mad, and why Kaleb is sitting there trying to figure out what to do. She took initiative. I think she can tell Kellyn is a close friend of her favorite male human."
"Also her way of telling you to back off and that she doesn't like that you could be taking her job of being an annoying thorn in my side that hurts Kellyn from time to time and gets scolded by Ashleigh," Kaleb added. "The thing is a weirdo." Eevee used sand attack on Kaleb. "Okay, I get it, I need to work on translating you better." He wiped the sand off of him.
"Hurt Kellyn? How could something that is a problem only pertaining to me and maybe Rhythmi and Keith hurt Kellyn?" Kate asked. "Other than the possible burden of keeping it from Rhythmi."
"You broke his heart," Kaleb bluntly said and Kellyn hissed at him.
"He loves you," Ashleigh bluntly added and Kellyn wanted to curl up and die.
"And this explains why you two click together so well," Kellyn mumbled. Kate blinked slowly.
"I'm sorry, I never thought about you romantically or that you would think of me in a romantic sense," Kate said. "I'm horrible, I feel like I should have known."
"Don't feel too bad, I was betting that he was going to wait until he died and came back as a ghost to tell you anyways," Kaleb commented only to be whacked by Kellyn, Ashleigh, Ampharos, Lucario, and Riolu. "Ow! What is with you guys and hitting me?"
"I'm so sorry, I feel horrible, how can I ever make it up to you? Will you forgive me?" Kate asked. Kellyn blinked slowly as just about everyone looked at her in surprise. The first to react was Absol who bodychecked Kate and growled at her. Misdreavus tried to talk to Kate as Ashleigh started to apologize for Absol's behavior.
"That pokemon is dangerous," Kaleb commented.
"I recall it having a habit of staring me down whenever I was around Ashleigh," Kellyn commented and Kaleb looked a little surprised. "I got to go on missions to the trainer regions before you did, remember? So I got to meet her before you did. In fact, I've been to Lucario Kingdom, nice place." Kaleb frowned and tried to suppress the jealousy rising inside of him. Ashleigh went to help Kate up, but Absol warned her to back off. Absol urged Kate to get up. Kate did so and she faced the dark type pokemon.
"You want me to fight you?" Kate asked and Absol nodded.
"Well, this new," Kaleb commented.
"He does this sometimes with me and my other pokemon, especially with Eevee," Ashleigh commented. "He does this as a way to help out anyone or anything he takes under his wing."
"Why does she get the special treatment and I still need to dodge his air slashes so that I don't die?" Kaleb asked and Ashleigh shrugged. Kate and Absol wrestled a little bit until Kate expended most of her energy.
"I see, thank you, Absol," Kate said with a smile.
"Someone explain to me what just happened," Kaleb commented.
"Communication through battle," Kellyn said. "I've heard about it, but this is the first time I'm seeing it like this."
"Really? You two need to get out more then," Ashleigh commented and the boys' gave her the stick eye. "What? That concept is a familiar and old thing to us trainers."
"I'm sorry for all the trouble, pain, and drama I have caused," Kate said.
"If you want some counseling from Absol, then just find me or stop by the house I'm moving into in Chicole Village." Ashleigh said with a kind smile. "Though you may also want to get some help from humans too. What you're struggling with is tough, a support system is important, no matter how great or small."
"What was your support system?" Kate asked.
"At first, when leaving my home, all I had for support was Vulpix," Ashleigh admitted. "Then I gained support through adding to my team and making friends in both pokemon and humans. It can get better, you know?" Kate nodded before looking at Kellyn.
"I don't deserve forgiveness from you, especially since I broke your heart so carelessly and moved through life abusing my friendships," Kate said. "But I hope that I can still be able to hang out with and around you. I liked it a lot when you would come visit. I'm sorry that I'm not able to return your feelings."
"Stop apologizing already," Kellyn said. "I got it. I will try to forgive you completely, but you need to make sure Rhythmi knows what happens, She deserves to know and she deserves to find out from the source and not from rumors." Kate nodded.
"Thank you Kaleb, for being the first male figure in my life I could rely on, with Kellyn being a close second," Kate said and Kaleb grunted as he crossed his arms. "And thank you Ashleigh, for the slap and the lecture, I think I needed that. Thank you, Eevee and Absol, for trying to get through to me." Ashleigh and her pokemon blushed from embarrassment. Misdreavus cried out as it rubbed its head against Kate's arm. "I'm sorry Misdreavus, I'm thankful for you too."
"Rumors fly fast, so I'd get a hold of her as soon as possible," Kaleb said and Kate nodded before taking off. "So annoying."
"Some slap, how is she going to cover it up at work?" Kellyn asked and Ashleigh blushed.
"I tried to hold back, but I guess I didn't do a very good job," Ashleigh replied.
"I've felt your 'holding back,' it still hurts like *beep*," Kaleb admitted only to be scolded by Ampharos for swearing. "Gosh, it's like having a second, no third, mother."
"What is up with your lucario anyways?" Kellyn asked as he noticed that the blue pokemon was more fidgety and more easily distracted than normal on top of actually going along with what other pokemon were doing. Kaleb sweat dropped.
"I have a sneaking suspicion he's got a thing for Ampharos," Kaleb replied and Ashleigh looked surprised. Lucario blushed hard and Kellyn laughed. Ampharos and her trainer seemed confused. "You haven't noticed?"
"Was I supposed to?" Ashleigh asked and Kellyn chuckled as Kaleb sighed.
"You two are good match, thank you for checking on me," Kellyn said.
"Not a problem," Kaleb and Ashleigh replied together only to blush when they realized they spoke in sync.
"However, I cannot wait until you two get out of the honeymoon phase," Kellyn commented as he rolled his eyes.
At night, Summer, Ben, Lunick, and Nathan all gathered to watch horror movies with some of their fellow classmates. Ben looked nervous as he hoped no one would notice how much he was scared of horror movies. As the movie played, both Summer and Lunick watched the movie intensely while actually enjoying it while Ben fought the urge to scream like girl, run out of the room, and/or use Lunick or Summer as human shield/pillow. Out of the corner of Summer's eye, she noticed that whenever something scary came up Nathan would reflexively have his arms like he was holding a small person (Summer knew it had to be about the size of Moon). Summer smirked and Nathan, though no one but Summer noticed, was embarrassed and appalled by his own behavior that he would then instantly look depressed. A truly terrifying scene occurred and almost everyone jumped and yelled. A girl-like high pitch scream could be heard and everyone looked back towards Summer. Summer sweat dropped as Ben had latched himself on her. His legs were wrapped around her waist and his hands held her head close to his chest. It was clear to everyone that the owner of the scream was none other than Ben.
"Such a baby," Lunick commented.
"Ben, what are you doing?" Summer asked.
"C-Can I just stay here until the movie ends?" Ben asked. Ben blushed as he almost admitted that for whatever reason, being so close to Summer made him feel safe and comforted. Summer tried not to blush as she bit her lip. She rolled her eyes.
"Fine, but you get too clingy then I don't care if I need to beg Lunick and Nathan to help me get you off of me, you will get off," Summer warned him. Ben agreed to the rest of the terms and spent the rest of movie night in that exact same position, to the point in which Summer ended up having to carry Ben to his bed since he managed to fall asleep on her.
"He's such a big baby," Nathan commented.
"Says the one who kept trying to hold an imaginary girl in his arms whenever a scary part came on," Lunick countered (so Summer wasn't the only one who had noticed) and Nathan scowled. Topaz had Moon convince him to watch many a horror movie with the their group of friends. Nathan was sure of this: Moon has never told anyone how he would hold her closer to him whenever something scary popped up, that when he was trying to look like he was comforting Moon, he was really trying to get comfort from her.
"Let me guess, you're used to watching those kind of things with Moon," Summer teased and Nathan turned red. Summer looked smug and proud that she finally had something that could Nathan react and not be a cold statue.
"Don't forget to set Ben's alarm," Lunick commented before entering the bathroom to shower and change before sleeping.
"What's the point? He never wakes up to it," Summer commented.
"Not that obnoxious thing, the other alarm," Lunick said as he pointed at Nathan.
"Why you!" Nathan exclaimed as Lunick shut the door. "I'll kill him one day."
"Moon wouldn't approve of that," Summer replied.
"Leave her out of it!" Nathan exclaimed. "Set the darn alarm already. This thing is way too annoying." Summer rolled her eyes, but did what she was told. Nathan changed in the room, something Summer was quickly able to get used to thanks to growing up with an older brother.
"I know we tease you a lot about her, but I have a feeling you were happy she managed to get lost and pop up here, so you could see her before the festival," Summer commented. The room grew silent with water running in the background with Ben's light snores.
"Yeah, I guess you're right," Nathan admitted. "Just, if that knowledge leaves this room, then I will hunt you down and make you regret it."
"Mhm," Summer replied as she waited for Lunick to come out. Lunick came out and Summer when in after him, locking the door after walking in. Summer went to her bed as the boys slept, or pretended to sleep. Ben, in sleep, reached out and grabbed her wrist.
"Don't die," Ben mumbled. Summer's eyes widened and Ben let go of her wrist.
'What in the world could he be dreaming?' Summer thought to herself before going to sleep.
~end of chapter~
Kellyn: how did Kate find us if she doesn't have an aura pokemon?
Kate: well, you did yell when Eevee bit you
Kaleb: speaking of Eevee, do you think I'll be getting back my shoes anytime soon?
Ashleigh: *looks over at her pokemon; Eevee is playing with his jacket, Absol is playing with one boot, and Vulpix is playing with his other boot* no, they look like they'll be occupied with your stuff for a while, sorry
Kaleb: T.T well, as long as I'm not being used as a chew toy or target practice, I suppose I should just let them be and walk around in just socks and no jacket
Summer: Why did Ben have to latch onto me like that during the movie? He's just as bad as Karrie when it comes to those!
Ben & Karrie: HEY! Horror and scary movies are terrifying!
Lunick: Ben, why didn't you offer me any candy?
Ben: you didn't help me study
Lunick: -_-" no fair, you're a pain to help when it comes to those kind of things
Moon: when is the festival anyways?
Me: it's coming, it's coming
Kellyn: Ashleigh, Kaleb, tell your pokemon I'm alright and to stop trying to comfort me
Ashleigh: Riolu, is he lying? Ampharos, I don't think he wants eat that, why don't you share with Moon?
Moon: *ampharos shares with Moon* YAY! BERRIES! Ooh! And herbs! You rock!
Kaleb: T.T if Lucario is choosing to sit next you like that, then clearly you're still not quite okay
Kellyn: TT_TT this aura feeling stuff can really be inconvenient
Kaleb: you're just bummed that you can't keep it all to yourself and unhealthily bottle it all up
Kellyn: T.T
Me: Eventually I have to introduce the mechanic students, but I can do that around the festival time. Hmm, I got a few good ideas now in relation to the class, some of which even involve Lamont, Keith, Karrie, and Jewels
Karrie: Fine T.T but only because I'll get to hang out with Summer
Jewels: That's nice, someone get me out of this skirt NOW!
Moon: you can change in the bathroom, you know?
Keith: on one condition Miss Authoress, Karrie is forbidden to use her hammer or fire producing gloves, etc. on me
Karrie: T.T you're no fun
Me: deal, I can work with that
Nathan: can't we end this already?
Me: people continue to review please! I appreciate them a lot!
