Peter and Harry walked out of the principal's office their bruises were healing and also patched same for their friends
"Ugh this sucks a whole day of detention tomorrow" Peter said with a sigh
"Agreed.. and my dad is gonna be absolutely pissed!" Harry said groaning in pain
"I didn't ask you to punch him though.. but still thanks" Peter said
"Your welcome dude that's what friends are for" Harry said
Peter nodded
"See ya later" Peter said as he walked off in the opposite direction
"At detention?" Harry said
"At detention" Peter said
Peter walked inside his room throwing his backpack on his bed
"I get grounded and PLUS there's a gigantic lizard roaming around speaking about that.." Peter said
He removed his costume from under the bed and quickly got into it
He thought for a few moments
"That "thing" seemed to be chasing Martha and Billy so that thing might go back to their home for round 2.."
"So I might as well patrol around to make sure Martha and Billy don't become lizard-food" He thought
He'd have to get back before dinner which would be in a hour or so and then after dinner he would patrol some more
He slid up his window and leaped out
He leaped house to house looking around the neighboorhood for the right house he finally found the right house
He landed on it and slid off the roof landing on the front porch he knocked
The door opened
"CURT!" Martha said but stopped she stood there silently
and looked at Spider-man for a moment she tried to shut the door but Spider-man put his arm in the way stopping her from closing
"I'm not here to hurt you or Curt okay?" Spider-man said
"Why should I believe you your a menace..!" She shouted putting more force on the door to try and make him pull his arm away which failed
"What they say about me isn't true plus I saved you last night which means you owe me" Spider-man said
"Plus I'm here to protect you and your son from that Lizard thingy he might be coming soon so you need me to help you okay?" He also said
She went silent for a few seconds the pressure from the door was slowly relieved
She opened the door allowing him in
"Would you like some tea?" Martha asked from inside the kitchen
"No I'm fine not a tea person" Spider-man said
"I insist" Martha said from inside the kitchen
She walked out with two teacup and she took a sip of her tea sitting down and handing him the other one
He nodded and lift up his mask to his mouth taking a sip
"I'm sorry I don't have much sugar" She said
"Ever since Curt turned into That Lizard creature I've been a little depressed and I rarely go out anymore out of fear" She said looking down
"Wait what? - I mean your husband is that thing? but how...?" He asked now interested
"I thought you knew I thought you came here looking for him I'll tell you all I know but PROMISE not to kill him" She said
"Not like I can even if I wanted to.." He thought and then nodded
"Curt came back with his arm back.. he had been searching for a way to regrow it for YEARS and he finally found it.."
"We went out to celebrate with Billy and then that's when he turned... and I think you know what happened nex-" She said
There was a loud crash outside and a dog barking loudly the dog yelped in pain and then went quiet
He put a finger to his mouth and he stood up slowly and stepped over to the window
He looked out the window to see a dog laying on the ground it's body mangled
He held back his urge to puke from the sight
"What's wrong!?" Martha asked trying to be as quiet as possible
"SHH he's here get your son and get out of here.." Spider-man said in a whisper
Martha's eyes widened and she nodded and ran upstairs
He switched off all the lights in the living room he crouched in the middle of the room and focuse
His heart was pumping he could feel adrenaline flowing through his body
He heard the back door explode open he ran into the kitchen looking at the backdoor it was on the floor
He looked around and then suddenly his Spider-Senses rung
The Lizard ran at him and he slammed past him using his shoulder knocking him to the floor
Spider-Man groaned in pain and fired two weblines at his back stopping him
"Oh no you don't.." Spider-Man said
The Lizard turned and roared in rage and slashed the webline with his claws
Spider-Man stood up and they both stared at eachother The Lizard made the first move and roared and charged at him
Spider-man fired multiple balls of webbing at him to try and slow him down which did not work
Spider-man flipped over him landing behind him he turned and punched him repeatedly in the back and then kicked him in the side
His tail smacked him across the living room into a drawer
"Where is sheeee" The Lizard said in a hissing manner
"Oh so you talk now.." Spider-man said coughing in pain trying to stand up
The Lizard swung his tail at him at incredible speeds
He caught it but he was sent tossing around the living room he held on tightly to his tail though
He yanked on his tail with all of his might and his tail popped off light green blood leaking out of the wound
"OH GOD GROSS!" Spiderman shouted throwing it to the side
The Lizard roared in pain a new tail regrowing in it's place
The Lizard ran at him slamming his shoulder into him knocking him into the wall
The Lizard then threw him upstairs through the door of a room
"Hold on tight sweetie.." Martha said Billy held her tightly
She climbed down a rope she made from all of the blankets in the house and once she reached the ground she ran as quickly as she could
Spider-man woke up shaking his head he was laying on a broken desk
The Lizard came inside the room already reaching him before he could do anything
The Lizard lunged at him
Time slowed down for Spider-man as the Humanoid-lizard neared toward him
Spider-man picked up one of the drawer legs he smacked it across The Lizard's face while also rolling to the side
Spider-man while crouched kicked The Lizard in the snout causing one of his tooths to fall out he then flipped on The Lizard's back
He punched each side of The Lizard's head causing immense pain
He then fired two lines of webbing at both sides of The Lizard's head he yanked hard
"Oh no you don't!" Spider-man shouted and kneed The Lizard in the face while still on his back
The Lizard stumbled around the room while Spider-man pummeled his head with a barrage of punches
He drove both of his elbows into the top of The Lizard's head and continued to deliver a barrage of punches to his face
The Lizard tried to claw at him and managed to claw off his mask leaving a scratch on his cheek The Lizard dug his claws into his shoulder and threw him down
The Lizard lift up his claws about to deliver the final killing blow but the little humanity he had left stopped him from doing it
Spider-man coughed up small amounts of blood
The Lizard picked up Spider-man with his tail
The Lizard saw Martha and Billy running for the car
The Lizard roared loudly and chased after him they managed to get inside the car she started up the engine driving
The Lizard dug his claws into the back of the car holding it with ease the car tried to drive forward but failed
His hand flew through the window and wrapped around Billy not rough enough to hurt him to much
"MOMMY!" Billy shouted
"BILLY!" She also shouted
Peter opened his eyes trying to struggle but he had no strength to he fell limp in his tail
His eyes closed and then.. there was nothing
