Chapter 2
"Do you love me?" Emma asked. "If you tell me you don't love me, I'll let you go." Killian was at a loss for words with that question. Emma was his motivation for everything. He loved her more that words could express. He had been able to take a lost, broken girl that he had pieced back together, and in the process, fallen for. And now she was different. She wasn't the same Emma that he had fallen in love with. At some point in Camelot, she had given in to the darkness and lost what little little control she had over it. "Emma what happened to you?" he said, rather that giving a real answer. "What made you stop fighting the darkness?" She didn't say anything after that; just broke down into tears. Killian extended his arms and she leaned into them. His arms snaked around her waist. A cloud of red smoke engulfed them and they were back in her house, proped up against her couch. He noticed that Emma back back in her old clothes; her hair back to normal. "It was just so much easier to drown in darkness. It got too hard to keep resisting the urge to tear someone's heart out." she spilled. "What if we got one of those non-magic cuff contraptions that Regina put on Zelena?" "I never thought of that." In a puff of red smoke, Regina was standing in front of the coffee table. "What the hell am I doing here?" she questioned, sounding like she would have both their heads on platters if she didn't get an answer in the next 5 minutes. "Regina. Can you put one of those cuffs on Emma to restrict her magic?" Killian jumps straight to the point. "That's what you want? Please, I've seen clothes more complicated that that." Regina flicked her wrist and Emma was wearing a bracelet identical to Zelena's.
"Thank you." she said simply. With another flick of the wrist, Regina was gone in a heartbeat. "You never answered my question." Emma pointed out. Killian stood up and bent down to pick up Emma. He carried her up the stairs and into what seemed like her bedroom. He threw her onto the bed and climbed on top of her. He bent down and put a trail of kisses leading from her shoulder to her mouth. "Yes." he murmured and he could feel Emma smile against his mouth.
