Chapter 13
Delphine POV
I stood in the kitchen watching Bella sitting at the television it had been a few months since the Cullen incident and I was shocked to find out my sister had been left in the woods alone. From what Bella could barley make out to me Edward didn't want her and the family left Forks.
The back door opened and Jake walked in his hair slightly damp from the rain
"Hey" he shook his jacket out and set it down on the kitchen table.
I smiled and he frowned before hugging me tightly "She still the same?" he asked I nodded and sighed wrapping my arms around him
"I'm worried Jake, she just…sits there" I sighed angrily and pulled away "I swear if I find him I am going to kick his ass"
Jake smirked
"Ok maybe not kick his ass but I could throw stuff at him…stuff that's lit with fire"
Jake sniggered but sobered up
"Can you maybe take her to yours? Change of scenery might do her some good" I asked he nodded and kissed my forehead
"Sure" he walked into the living room and sat next to Bella.
A few weeks later
Bella had progressed she stared talking and smiling again she came with me and Jake to regular bonfires and she seemed to enjoy herself but I could tell she was hurting I would be if the man I love told me he didn't love me back I looked up at Jake we were sitting on a tree log he was talking to Paul about some car I rolled my eyes. Bella currently was out with Jessica at the movies I leaned my head against Jake and I felt his eyes on me
"You ok" he asked
"Perfect" I kissed his shoulder
Paul pretended to vomit which resulted in Jake knocking him of the chair which ended up in a 'playful fight' between the two
My phone began to rang and I saw it was Jessica's mobile
"Hey Jessica"
"Delphine your sister has…well she flipped"
"What do you mean?" I asked worried
"She just went on a motorbike with some guy"
"SHE DID WHAT! AND YOU DIDN'T STOP HER!"
Jake stopped fighting and looked at me I noticed everyone left us alone Jake came and sat beside me 'what's wrong' he mouthed I shook my head
"I…I didn't know…o Bella it's ok she's here"
"Drive back home right now I'll be home shortly" I said I hung up and stood I explained to Jake what had happened and we drove straight home.
"Should I come in?" Jake asked
"Best not but I'll be round tomorrow" I leaned in and gave him a light kiss "Love you"
"Love you too" he smiled
I walked to the door and heard Jake drive off behind me but I paused and looked round I had a feeling I was being watched I turned and headed for the door shutting it behind me
"Bella!" I walked upstairs to see her on her bed she looked up
"I know it was stupid" she sighed
"Your damn right it was stupid do you have any idea what could have happened to you? You could have been raped or be part of a sex ring or you could have been killed why the hell would you do something like that?"
She shook her head "Every time when I'm in a dangerous position or doing something stupid I see…Edward" she looked down and played with her fingers
I frowned "What do you mean?" I sat down next to her
"It's hard to explain but I think it's like he's still here"
I placed my hand on hers "but he's not Bella, he's gone"
"I know" she sighed frustrated
"Bella you have to promise me to never ever do that again, Edward is not with you it's just in your head, I'm sorry but if Jake left and I did something like this I would want you to do the same thing for me, promise me you will never do something stupid or dangerous to see him again"
She looked at me, tears in her eyes and nodded I hugged her to me tightly
"Don't scare me like that again" I said
"I won't"
Bella and Charlie were of to Port Angeles to spend some time together which I thought was sweet neither were great clothes shoppers both actually shuddering when I joked about the clothes I laughed. Jake had come round and we were watching Lord of the Rings but as usual as my head started to wonder imagining myself as a fearless elf or kicking evil ass at Mordor Jake's hand began to wander somewhere else
"Is this film boring you?" I asked him while smirking
"Mmm" he mumbled while kissing my neck he began to unbutton my shirt and I smiled as he stopped "Is that a lace bra"
"Mmmm" I looked at him "and it's a matching set" I wiggled my eyebrows I squealed as he picked me up and tossed me over his shoulder.

We lay in my bed as we tried to catch our breath both of us naked and covered in sweat
"I need a drink but I don't think I have the strength" I spoke and chuckled I turned to Jake and gave him a pout he rolled his eyes but got up
"What would you like?"
"Pepsi please"
Jake walked down stairs nearly falling as he tried to pull his pants on I snuggled back in bed I heard hurried footsteps on the stairs and sat up worried Charlie was home I wrapped the sheets around me Jake opened the door and stood there looking at me with wide eyes
"Jake?"
He rushed to me and hugged me tight
"Jake what's wrong?"
"I saw a vampire outside, red hair the same from the other night"
Jake had told me about two vampires in Forks one with dreadlocks and the other with red hair.
"I thought the other one was here" I hugged him
"It's ok, but we need to let Bella know maybe they're friendly?"
He scoffed "we caught one nearly killing a human trust me there not friendly"
