Chapter 15
"Hi" she smiled at me
"One minute" I grabbed the poking stick and walked to Alice
"Whoa what are you doing"
"I'm going to beat her over the fucking head" Bella stood in my way
"Give me the poker" she snatched it from me and I crossed my arms and glared at Alice
"Why are you here"
She nodded "I'm here because I saw Bella…well I thought I saw her die because I saw her jump from a cliff and then well I didn't see her anymore"
I frowned "So you came hear to check is she was a corpse"
Alice flinched "I know your angry with me…" I cut her off
"No angry is something I feel when my whites are turned to pink because someone left a red sock in there" I gave Jake hell for that "angry is having to wake up and having a giant hairy eight legged spider on my arm and interrupting my sleep, what I feel now I'm pissed off, what gives you the right to come back after 6 months to check if she's still alive, where's Edward and why doesn't he come here and check…o yeah that's right he left her in a fucking Forrest alone where no one could find her until night fall"
Alice flinched and bowed her head
"No you don't get the right at this moment to feel shitty at this moment you owe Bella an apology for leaving without saying goodbye and an explanation of how you could leave her like that"
The front door opened and Jake walked in he glared at Alice and she did the same
"Dog" she sneered
"Leech" he growled back
"Don't call my boyfriend a dog" I snapped and stood by Jake
"I've got news" I looked to Jake "Harry Clearwater died"
"How" Bella asked
"Heart attack"
I looked at him "really"
He nodded "Sam caught Victoria chocking him, he pushed her off him but I guess the stress was too much" I kissed his cheek and hugged him "Are you ok?"
He nodded
"Wait Victoria?" Alice looked at us "I didn't see Victoria here I've been keeping an eye on you using my visions"
"How thoughtful" I snapped she turned to Bella
"Wait I didn't see you being pulled from the water"
We all looked to Jake
"I can't see anything past you or your pack of mutts" she sneered
"Don't make me upset, things could get very ugly"
"Why don't we go in the kitchen" I grabbed his hand I closed the kitchen door a little and pushed Jake to the counter I waved my hand in his hair which was getting a little longer I brought him down for a kiss, I took his bottom lip between my teeth and bit lightly he groaned and picked me up, spinning us round he set me on the kitchen counter and proceeded to kiss the hell out of me, I pulled back because I was getting dizzy his eyes were clouded and I'm sure mine were the same
"Feel better" I smoothed his hair at the back
"More frustrated" he grinned and I sniggered "the good and bad kind" he kissed me once before helping me down the counter
"I can't believe she's back and I bet it's not for good" I sighed and rested my head against chest where his heart was beating twice the normal times "Does Charlie know about Harry"
He nodded "They're at the station now my dad and yours going over funeral arrangements with Sue, Sam and Leah are down at the reservation"
I hugged him to me tight "Everything is happening so fast" he kissed my forehead and I closed my eyes his very presence soothed me
He coughed "well in the matter of speaking fast" he pulled back and got something from his back pocket I swallowed it was a ring box I looked at him and smirked "What is that?"
He got on one knee and my eyes widened he opened the box and there was the perfect ring a ring which was silver and a diamond in the middle
"Delphine Swan I love you and I know we're too young to get married so this ring is a promise ring, promise me when we get through college and have jobs and have a kick ass apartment with a water bed"
I laughed "We're not getting a water bed how many times do I have to tell you"
"Shush" he grinned "you will give me the greatest honour to marry me for real and being my wife, will you accept this promise/engagement ring"
I nodded with a watery smile "Yes"
He smiled and stood up placing the ring on my left finger he kissed me hard we pulled back and I punched him
"You've made me the girl who cries when she gets kind of proposed to you dick"
He chuckled and was about to kiss me again but the phone rang
"Typical"
He picked up the phone and his entire body froze the smile which was on his face a second ago now replaced with a angry one
"He's not hear, he's planning a funeral"
He slammed the phone down and backed up
"Jake"
"Delphine, stay back"
"No"
I walked into the living room and saw Alice with wide eyes
"It was Edward who called then" she explained "He's going to the Volturi, he thinks your dead Bella, he wants to die too"
Half and hour later
Bella and Alice were in the car and me and Jake were arguing
"Jake last time she almost died I have to go with her"
Delph please…"
"I need you here to protect Charlie" I grabbed his face "I promise I will come back, don't think you can get out of asking me to marry you like that"
He smiled faintly before sighing and kissing me passionately "Be careful"
I nodded "Love you"
"Love you too"
Plane
I was fidgeting in my seat placing with the ring Jake had given me
"Jake proposed to you"
I turned to Bella who was sitting beside me a can of coca-cola in her hand
"Yep"
"Why did you come?" she asked
"Because I don't trusts Alice" Alice who was sitting silently trying to concentrate turned slightly to me but closed her eyes again and rested her head on the headrest "I don't trust Edward or any of them, and I want to make sure your ok, so where ever you go in Italy I go"
"Delphine, I would have been fine"
I scoffed harshly "Like you were fine when you got on the motorbike once with a complete stranger and then the other when you jumped off a cliff to see Edward"
Bella looked down and remained silent
"I get it" I said and she looked at me "if Jake left and there was a chance I could see him even for a moment I would do it, but Bell" I sighed and held her hand "If we don't make it on time to save Edward" she flinched "Promise me to talk to me, and I'll help you"
She hesitated and nodded
Alice stole a porche which was bright yellow, not the choice I would have gone for but it got the job done, me and Bella were sat in one seat as Alice defied and practically put two fingers up at death and she sped through the traffic.
"One piece Alice, we need to get there in one piece" I said
"Nearly there" she replied it was a shame I didn't get to show Bella Italy, I back packed here once before and it was a beautiful city.

We rushed out and I grabbed Bella's hand "I know where it is" we ran through the streets until we came to a stop where people were wearing red capes"
Are you being serious" I moaned we pushed through the crowds and I almost fell but Bella held my hand and we stopped at the water fountain.
We heard the clock strike 12 and we saw Edward standing in the shade
"Bella go" she ran through the water and to him I followed behind and saw a little staring at Edward as he came into view with the sun light, damn he really sparkles I jumped in the little girls way and talked to her mother in Italian I turned and saw they were gone I said goodbye and ran into the clock tower to find them kissing
"O wow this is awkward" I looked away
"Delphine" I turned to Edward who was currently still shirtless and hugging Bella to him tightly"First of Bella seriously you let him back into kissing you right away that's wrong make him work for it" I pointed at Edward "and you, considering there are no metal pipes or anything sharp to view at hand I will have to wait until we get home to smack you over the head with"He nodded with a small smile "Glad to see your still the same"
Damn! I had to smile"So shall we…" I was about to say we should go but two shaped figures started to walk towards us I stood next to Bella
"I won't be needing your services anymore" Edward said They were huge the one to my right was like the rock his hair didn't suit him and the one to my left just kept staring at me I frowned he smirked and turned to Edward
"None the less, we should have this conversation to a more appropriate venue"
"Fine, Bella, Delphine why don't you enjoy the festival"
"The girls come with us" the one who was looking at me says
"That's not going to happen" I held Bella hand ready to run but the door opened behind us Alice strolled in confidently standing in front of Bella
"Come on guys, this is a festival we wouldn't want to make scene"I smirked a little
"You wouldn't" big guy said
"Enough" the two men parted and we saw a small girl walking towards us Alice and Edward backed down immediately making me frown
"Aro sent me to see what was taking so long" she turned and walked away Edward and Alice began to move
"Who is she" Bella asked Alice"Just do as she says" We walked through the narrow brick walls before stepping to an elevator it was silence apart from opera music playing it the back ground I bit my lip to stop myself from laughing Bella nudged me and I shrugged.
The one behind me was the one looking at me I heard him sniff and I turned round to see him still looking at me
"Did you just sniff my hair"He smirked
"Quite delicious smell like that cannot be ignored, I'm Demetri"
"And I'm creeped out, not so nice to make your aqentience"He frowned and I turned round the elevator doors opened and we walked, a woman with a slim figure and black hair stood and greeted us "Buon pomeriggio"
"Is she…" Bella asked
"Yes"
"Does she know?"
"Yes" Edward replied
"Then why…she wants to be one of them"
"And so she will be" Demetri said
"For dessert" the small one said I rolled my eyes"How cliché" I muttered she turned and glared at me before opening the doors "Holy crap" I whispered. What the hell did we get into.
