Three months later
June
Delphine's POV
I was standing on the balcony of my room the city I once loved now just depressed me
I twirled the ring Jake gave me around my finger and thought of him
The way his dimples shown when he smiled, the way he could piss me off but make me laugh at the same time. I miss him so much
"Problems amare?"
I snapped my head to turn and glare at Demetri
I warned him if he didn't back off he would get his head ripped off did he listen did he hell he stood there looking at me with a satisfied look on his face
"I'm not your love"
He just smirked and came closer
"Now, now no need for that, Aro just sent me here to say dinner he ready"
I scoffed "How very vampire of you god you sound like something out of a cheesy movie" I turned my voice into Transylvanian "your dinner is ready master the humans look scared enough to eat"
He frowned "You should be happy"
I barked out a bitter laugh
"Problems" o great queen bitch was here I recently learned her and Demetri had a thing going on before Demetri decided he wanted to be my mate which by the way will never happen even when hell freezes over and pigs could fly…now I want a pig a cute miniature one…stop it!
"No problems Jane" Demetri smiled smoothly at her and I almost gagged at how gullible she was.
I tensed when I heard screams
"Last chance"
I glared at Demetri "Bite me"
He smirked and waggled his eyebrows "Is that an invitation"
I brought my fist back and punched him in the face I heard a satisfactory snap as he landed on the floor. Jane didn't move but I could tell she was trying to torture me with her mind. If only she knew I could do the same to her.
While I'm here I've learnt Jane and Alec depend on their gifts Alec can fight a little but when it comes to hand or fist to fist combat Jane can't fight.
"Jane, Demetri"
Aro stood smiling softly at the door as if he was the father figure and just found his children playing it was creepy
They both left which left me with Aro
"I must say the differences between you and your sister and staggering" he walked closer until he joined me on the balcony he gazed upon Italy with a twinkle in his eyes
"Have you ever explored this city"
"Once when I was 16"
He looked at me a little shocked "Alone?"
"Yes"
He seemed to think but then looked at my entwined hands I've seen him do this a couple of times
"Demetri is very fond of you"
I scoffed and turned so my body was facing the city and my hands hung over the balcony
"No he doesn't and I know your hoping we'll hitch it up so I can stay here forever which isn't going to happen"
Aro was silent which made me nervous a little his finger coming to rest lightly on my promise ring from Jake and my blood ran cold
"Whoever he is, he is a very lucky man" Aro turned his red eyes on me "but he is not here now and if you keep defying me I will have Demetri track him down and kill him"
I lunged at him but he was quicker he pinned me against the wall his left hand wrapped tightly around my throat and the other keeping my hands pinned behind me. My whole body froze in terror
"Do not attack me again" he hissed
"Brother"
Marcus stood there looking between us
"What is it brother?" Aro asked
"Some people are here to talk to you, apparently a vampire has broken some rules"
Aro let me go and walked swiftly out of the room
"You should becareful little one"
He handed me something which was in his hand
"Its an orginal copy of William Shakespeare great expectations"
I looked inside and was shocked
"Is that…"
He chuckled lightly "A signed copy"
I hugged him tightly "Thank you"
He returned the hug softly out of everyone I liked Marcus, I felt sorry for him when I learnt his wife had been killed he now just lived everyday and night in a shell
"I remember you telling me your sister liked the book, perhaps an early birthday present?"
I smiled sadly "Thank you"
He stroked my hair softly "If I had to have a daughter, I would wish she would be you"
O my god he was getting me upset I would cry if I could
"So I have a knew one for you"
He laughed softly "Ok what is it"
"So I guy walks into a bar"
Jake's POV
I stared out onto the beach as the pack enjoyed their dinner
"Jacob"
I didn't acknowledge my dad
"You need to eat son"
I sniffed the food and stood up but then I smelt something else
"Sam"
He looked at me and sniffed
"Vampire"
"Just between the treaty lines" I replied and took off Sam and Paul following behind me

I returned home after not catching the red head I took the picture out of me and Delphine sleeping on the couch
No tears were left in my body I just closed my eyes with the photo closed tightly in my hand
Delphine's POV
"Look just let me go to Forks and see my sister, I've even said Marcus can come with me"
Aro looked at me before sighing
"Will you be toralable when you come back"
"Yes"
He nodded "Fine but Demetri goes not Marcus"
"Hell no, he'll piss me off"
"It Demetri or Jane"
God the worse of two evils but knowing Jane the sadistic bitch she was she'll try and hurt everyone in our path
"Find Demetri we're going now"
I had the present in my hand
"one week"
"Two" I argued
Aro was about to say something but Marcus intervened
"Allow her this"
Aro looked at his brother a bit shocked before looking at me
"Fine"
I rushed out of the place slightly skipping when I did but then remembered the asshole was following close behind. Bella here I come now how was I going to see Jake without my stalker tagging along?
