I am so sorry! I know many have waited for like...3 MONTHS!? HOLY SHIT, my bad! I have severe block on this story and am trying to get through it. Thank you so much to everyone for being this patient so far. This chapter might not be much (...and short...srry), but I hope its enough while I get back on track. Enjoy!

"Hey, what's wrong with May?" Red asked Brendan as he pointed to May who was leaning over the guard rail, though he himself didn't feel great either.

"Oh she…kind of got sea sick after she ate this morning." Brendan replied before May hurled, "I'd better get this to her." He added as he pointed at a pink bottle in his hand before leaving to help May. Red couldn't help but feel a little sick himself before quickly running past Brendan to share the puke area with May.

"You too?" May asked weakly as Brendan poured some of the pink liquid into a cup and gave it to her before giving one to Red as well.

"Feels like it." Red replied as he drank the medicine, "I think it might have been something we ate."

"Like what?" Brendan asked, "Leaf and I feel just fine." As if on cue, Leaf came out from below deck, holding her stomach tightly.

"I don't feel too good…." She said before collapsing on Red and puking a bit on him, "Sorry…"

"Its alright." Red replied as he sat her up with him.

"Wait a minute!" May snapped, "Wasn't it Brendan who-" May was cut off by her food forcing itself to freedom.

"What are you trying to say, that I'm a bad cook?" Brendan asked with a hurt tone.

"Guys?" Misty's voice called out, "Anyone care to explain why there are spices and other things thrown all over the kitchen area?" Everyone turned to Brendan.

"I swear I didn't do that." Brendan quickly said before Pichu came up and sneezed as he was covered in salt, pepper, and various spices.

"Well…that explains…" Red said as he took the medicine from Brendan and gave some to Leaf before the boat rocked violently and nearly sent Red overboard.

"What was that!?" May asked just as a beam of energy could be seen barely miss the boat.

"I'm guessing that!" Leaf cried out as a group of Gyarados emerged from the ocean next to the boat, "Misty, now would be a good time to do something!"

"I know!" Misty snapped as she tried to reach her pokeballs that were below deck, but instead was knocked off the side as one of the Gyarados smashed into the boat. May quickly dove out of hope and managed to grab Misty's hand, but Misty still hit the side of the boat hard before being pulled up, "Crap, that's going to be sore later." She said as she grabbed her side.

"Is everyone alright?" Red asked.

"Wait, where's Mawile!?" May asked.

"He was at the front of the boat earlier!" Brendan replied as he got up to look around.

"Hang on!" Red shouted as another Gyarados smashed against the boat and Brendan caught the guard rail of the boat to keep himself on it. Misty quickly made her way below deck once more before emerging with her pokeballs at the ready.

"Get below!" she shouted, "I'll-" Misty was cut off as the boat shook once more as a beam of energy shot above it once again, but the beam originated from the top off the boat instead and hit one of the Gyarados, sending it flying backwards. Brendan looked up to see Mawile on the roof of the boat with light blue energy accumulating in its massive jaw.

"GET DOWN!" he shouted before quickly shoving everyone below deck. Just as they made it in, a loud boom deafened their ears before the temperature dropped dramatically and an ice spike jammed into the boat, narrowly missing Leaf's gut before everything became still.

"Leaf!" Red called out as he tried to move the fear petrified girl from danger, "Come on, talk to me! Are you ok!?"

"Pi!" Pichu cried out as he came out from Leaf's hood to aid Red in snapping Leaf back from fear.

"I-I…I'm alive?" Leaf asked before Red hugged her with a sigh of relief.

"Yes…yes you are." He said to her.

"Excuvb meh!" said a muffled voice while May squeaked in surprise as she suddenly felt something move against her rear and quickly jump to her feet, only to realize that she had accidently landed on Misty's face.

"Sorry." May apologized as she helped Misty onto her feet.

"What just happened?" Misty asked.

"Mawile, let off some steam." Brendan replied as he looked outside, "Look for yourself." The others emerged to see the whole boat set in nothing but ice with a solid ice bridge that extended for some distance. Two of the attacking Gyarados were frozen solid and the others seemed to have fled.

"That is impossible!" Leaf exclaimed as she observed in awe.

"The- the- wha- the boat!" Misty whined, "My deposit…"

"Better that than you life right?" Brendan asked.

"I guess…but YOU OWE ME THE DEPOSIT ON THIS BOAT!" Misty shouted as she slapped a paper into Brendan's face.

Before he could protest, May asked a question that seemed to have somehow escaped Brendan's head, "Where is Mawile?" Brendan quickly looked around but he couldn't see the Pokémon anywhere.

"Mawile!?" he called out, but received no response. The five of them quickly split up to try and find their friend, Brendan dashed to the top of the boat to see if Mawile had somehow been hiding there while the others searched the splintered deck. It didn't take long before May spotted something floating motionlessly in the now icy water.

"I found him!" she called out as she quickly fished Mawile out of the water and held him close, "He's freezing!" Brendan was the first to approach and examine his Pokémon before breathing a sigh of relief.

"He just exhausted himself." He reported, "Have you got him May?"

"Yeah, I can take him. Damn, if I know we'd be in cold weather again, I would've kept another set of the magma uniform myself.

"Don't worry May," Leaf said cheerfully as she wrapped her arms around May's neck from behind, nearly piggybacking, "there's room for two under this…what is it? A poncho or a robe? A cloak?"

"It doesn't matter as long as it's warm." May replied as she pulled the fabric around herself and Mawile making her and Leaf look like a two headed person.

"Well…at least Mawile made us a bridge to Cinnibar…" Red pointed out before testing it for stability by slowly stepping onto it before nodding to the others. The others followed with caution…well May and Leaf did. Brendan was trying to avoid the piercing, hatred filled, gaze that was being directed towards him by Misty as they began to walk on the ice bridge.
