Leo tried to lessen the tension in the room after Donatello's rather...disturbing story, by asking his own question. "How did Karai and I get together?"
Now it was Leonardo's turn to get starry eyed. "Well, it all started after Shredder's disappearance..."
A slightly older, still teenage Karai was waiting on top of a sky-scraper for Leonardo. She had some questions to ask him. She turned around quickly when she heard Leoland on the roof behind her. "Where's my father?" she screamed, deciding to go straight to the point. "What did you do with him?"
"I didn't do anything, Karai! And I don't know where he is!" Leo cried back just as loud as. Karai had. Karai looked into Leo's eyes and saw that he wasn't joking. Leo coughed quietly. "So...does that mean you're in charge of the Foot?" Karai nodded.
"I have no vendetta with your father, and I do not wish to fight you anymore. This war is over." Leo nodded and Karai turned to leave.
Leo was also about to leave when a thought overtook him. "Where will you go?"
Karai looked back and shrugged. "Probably back to Japan."
"Well..." Leo started. He took a deep breath and said, "would you like to...I don't know...unite the clans?"
"Really," Karai raised an eyebrow and responded. "Like get married? You and I?"
"Yeah, I mean, if you want to." Leo squeezed his eyes shut and waited for an answer.
"Sure." Karai pecked Leo on the cheek. "See you soon, honey."
When Leo opened his eyes once more, Karai was gone. On his sword was a note: March 26 next year. I'll make preparations.
Leo smiled and jumped off the roof. Not a bad night.
Leonardo finished his story and looked at the reactions of the teenagers. Leo looked fine with what happened, April was confused, Raph just as angry as usual and Donnie and. Mikey were quite happy with what happened.
