Sorry for not updating but I haven't had much inspiration lately.
"When we got to Spain, we went straight to my home village on the outskirts of the capital city. I owned a house there and was met by my childhood friends, Eve (Eva was named after her), Ryan, Gail and and Myra. They were overjoyed to see me again and soon word had spread that I'd come home. Of course, people wanted to know how my life was and asked all sorts of questions:
"How was America?"
"Who's this?"
"What happened to you?"
I managed to answer the questions without giving too much away. But to save. Michel's identity I claimed he was my boyfriend who I met at work. I said New York was too crowed for me and that I missed Spain. Thankfully, they bought it. Word spread fast and the next day people were interrogating Michel. Michel made a good impression and was accepted into society. I then taught Michel how to speak Spanish, got a job as a midwife in the local hospital and faked degrees in high school so Michel could go to college. He studied sports and art and soon made best in class.
After we had been in Spain for about three years, and Olympic champion was visiting Michel's college and saw how good Michel was a sports and agreed to train him for upcoming Olympics. During that time Michel and I had actually started dating and were engaged. Two years later, I was pregnant with these two." Rachel smiled at her children.
"Eve was there when I went into labour and stayed with me until Michel arrived. For that, I named Eva after her. I named Jack after Jackson because if it weren't for his sacrifice, then we might not be here.
Anyway, over the years, we realised that Jackson and Evelyn looked human enough to go to school, and for that we apparently have to thank John for genetically modifying Michel so our children won't look reptilian unless exposed to water. Although, we have to wrap them up when it rains.
Six months ago, Michel's trainer told us to go to New York for the Olympics and since Michel hadn't seen his family for twenty years, we moved back here for good."
"The only reason we didn't come back sooner was that we were worried John, Shredder or Tiana were still here. We had to protect our children." Michel interrupted.
Donnie looked at his feet. "We're sorry, we didn't know." He apologised.
"We didn't want you to worry."
"Why?" Leonardo questioned with a confused look on his face.
"You have enough to worry about. Besides, what would your wife," Michel shuddered, "think if she heard we killed the man who raised her?"
"You have a point."
"Well, that's our story." Rachel whispered with tears in her eyes. "I hope you can accept it."
Just so you know, I won't update until I get another five reviews. You're free to ask me any questions. I'll answer them in the next chapter. Also, a hint into the next chapter...somebody's watching them.
