.7: Here's your update!
memmek10k: THANK YOU! I purposely spelt Michael 'Michel' to test you viewers noticing skills (sorry guys), I actually had hints to the correct spelling as early as Where are we? Sorry if the chapters do seem a bit rushed, I'm...younger than you might think and have a lot on me. Also the OCs are crucial to the story-line and there are going to be moreof them.
vanne perez: Great to know you love the fanfiction! I can't make the texts any longer for the same reason as I have just told memme10k. Sorry, but they might get even shorter depending on how liked or important I consider this story. I might even be discontinued if not enough people are reviewing to them. Sorry.
Michael woke up early in the morning (early enough for the sun to be very low in the sky) to find his bed rather cold and no one beside him. He looked all around the house for almost two hours and was starting to get worried as time passed with no sign of his wife. Rachel sometimes went out for a while just before dawn but was usually back before Michael knew anything about it - thank you Jack for tell him. He sat down on the couch and put his head in his hands, fighting to keep the tears from his eyes. He won't cry. He hadn't cried in years. Even when his brothers told him what happened to Master Splinter. This was how Leo and Donnie found him almost and hour and a half later.
Leo looked confused for a moment. "Michael? Are you alright?"
"Hey, where's Rachel?" Donnie questioned, coming in with his morning coffee.
Michael, for the first time since they came to the future, allowed some emotion to leak through his mask. "Rae... Rae's missing."
Raph then chose this moment of great upset to charge into the room with more worry. "Guys! Mikey's missing!" He then saw Michael. "Hey, Michael. Where's Rachel?"
Michael then shed a few tears. For a turtle who hadn't cried in years this was considered an emotional breakdown. "Gone." He simply whispered before breaking down completely.
Raph's eyes widened to the point of exploding. "What! So Mikey and Rachel are gone!"
"Yes." Donnie answered, sitting down next to Michael in an attempt to comfort him. "It's alright, Michael. We'll find them. But you're going to have to call our future selves."
April, who had been watching the conversation behind the door for about ten minutes, crept in and put her hand on Michael's shoulder out of sympathy. "It's okay. Rachel's string. And if Mikey's with her she'll be fine." She knew what Michael was going through, having spent many months worried about her father during the time he was kidnapped by the Kraang.
This snapped Michael's final straw. "NO SHE ISN'T! SHE'S GONE!"
The noise woke Jack and Eva. "Dad!" Jack yelled, snapping some sense back into his father. "Mama will be fine. She's survived a man threatening her, a bomb and she's a nurse. She sees death pretty much every single day! She'll be fine. You, on the other hand..."
Michael stood up with a start. "What's that supposed to mean?"
Eva put her hand to her mouth in an attempt to stop giggling. "You were very silly when you were younger."
"Did Uncle Raphael tell you that?" Michael slipped his neutral mask back on, not wanting to break down in front of his children.
"Yes."
Michael's shoulders fell back and he put his hand back to his right hand. "Along with some very choice words." Jack admitted.
Eva looked at Raph. "You have to admit it Raph. You do sometimes lose you temper. Quite a lot." Everyone in the room, minus Raph, nodded. Raph looked around, confused.
Michael walked into the kitchen and picked up the kitchen phone. "We need backup. I'll call my older brothers. We need to search for them both.
"Agreed." Coursed all the turtles and April.
Jack, meanwhile, whispered to Eva, "If Mikey is anything like Dad I'd be worried to whoever kidnapped them." Eva giggled.
Michael overheard what his children said about the past him and a faint smile graced his lips. It fell as he heard the dialling tone and he thought of all the possible scenarios of the abductions. "Oh, Rae. Where are you?"
