In the end, Carmon decided to at least help the young turtle still trapped in the cell. He snuck into his mother's office and stole the key. He then crept down to the basement and knocked on the bars. Mikey jumped and turned around, startled. He creased his eye ridges and screamed, "Why are you here! You already have Rachel! Go away!" His arms were littered with cuts and bruises from having defended Rachel.
Carmon rolled his eyes and replied, "I'm trying to help you. Now shut up and get ready to run."
"What, what about Rachel?" Mikey questioned.
Carmon shrugged. He didn't know what to do about Smith. Maybe the other turtles would save her. Mikey shook his head. "No way am I leaving without Rae."
"Thought only her mate could call her that."
"Yeah, well, I'm a younger version of her mate. I'm Michael or TM or whatever you call him."
"Alright, Michael," Carmon sighed, this turtle could certainly talk. He was rather annoying and childish. The door swung open and Carmon caught it before it could bang against the wall. "Get moving."
Mikey shook his head. "Not without Rachel. And my name's Mikey."
Dragging Mikey by his orange bandana tails, Carmon ran up the stairs to the ground floor. He continued to pull Mikey until they got into a huge room. Painted grey walls loomed over them, small computers and laptops sat on tables. On the far wall, a large computer hung on the wall. Suddenly a pixelated face appeared on the screen of the large computer. The face smiled and spoke in a similar voice to that of the Prawns. "Hello Carmon, what is it that you need?" Mikey almost chuckled when he heard the British accent the computer had.
"What the... What it that?!" Mikey screamed. He remembered at the last second that he was trying to escape and was now thinking about a (admittedly cool) British-speaking computer-thingy.
Ignoring Mikey, Carmon replied, "Hey Pixel. I need you to print out a blueprint of the lab, house and surrounding area. Oh, and explain to... Mikey here, who you are. I need to get something." And with that, Carmon left.
Mikey looked back at the screen. "Okay..." 'Sure, just leave me with a (still cool) still object, gee thanks.'
The computer interrupted Mikey's train of thought. "Hello, Mikey, I am Pixel. I am here to provide information for Miss Tiana, and school Carmon, Sam and the other young experiments."
"Can I ask you questions?"
"Yes."
"Okay," Mikey began. "The first question is...who is Sam?"
Pixel hummed and a picture of Sam appeared on the screen. "Sam: Speed Animation Man. One of the test subjects to make the perfect Prawn. Supposed to get computers to run without trouble, but the subject failed and SAM now has intelligence and is currently being used as an assistant in medical and mechanical technology."
'Sounds like Donnie.' "Cool, so where is this SAM now?" 'Maybe he can help Rachel.'
"SAM is helping with the operation to remove TM's child from Smith. The operation has not started as of yet as complications are occurring."
"WHAT! What complications?" Mikey yelled
"Quiet down, Mikey." Carmon appeared in the doorway. He handed Mikey a small box. "This will keep you in contact with me, Pixel and Sam. It can turn into anything if you ask it. I suggest a backpack."
The box quickly turned into a black backpack and morphed itself onto Mikey's back. Mikey grinned his usual childish grin, which had been lost since he'd been kidnapped. "Cool, but can it be orange?" the backpack turned orange. "Sweet."
Carmon nodded and opened his arm compartment. The screen split in four, one showing Carmon, another Pixel and the final two were blank. "Sam's one is in the same place. Pixel's is on his software." Carmon then pressed a button on the side of Mikey's backpack and a screen popped out of the side, showing the same images as Carmon's did, except Mikey was shown in one of the blank screens.
Mikey chuckled softly. "I guess this is part of the whole 'perfect Prawn' thing?"
"Yeah," Pixel began to beep again. The printer next to Pixel spat out a long piece of paper, Carmon picked it up and folded it in half and half again and passed it to Mikey. "The backpack will transport you back to where I first took you. Be careful, and do not take the backpack off during transportation."
'Duh,' thought Mikey as the backpack emitted a low him. The sight of Carmon and Pixel faded and Mikey shut his eyes.
Mikey opened his eyes to the soft breeze of the field he and Rachel were kidnapped from. He shook his head to get rid off the motion sickness that ran through his stomach and began to run, shakily, towards the house.
They still needed to help Rachel.
