Five Years Later
Part 95
With as full as the week had been, when the alarm went off on Saturday morning Sebastian didn't want to move. Even though he'd set it prior to them coming home from Blaine's show the night before, he suddenly wasn't as eager to begin what he had planned. Knowing this was their last full day together he wanted to make it special, yet was content where he was. Most often after a show, Sebastian would curl up behind Blaine and they would fall asleep, which they did that night. Yet in this moment, their positions were reversed with Blaine's arm securely around him and his chest pressed to Sebastian's back.
While this wasn't unusual for them, it tended to happen more often while cuddling after sex, not while they slept. With as good as it felt, Sebastian knew deep down he needed to get up and get things started. But the moment he tried to move Blaine's arm from around him, it tightened and he felt Blaine press his body more against his. "Not…going…anywhere." Blaine mumbled against Sebastian's back before placing a kiss on his shoulder blade. "Want to stay here…as long as we can."
"I was going to make you breakfast."
"How about we work up an appetite first?" After he spoke, Blaine slid his arm that was around Sebastian a bit lower. "Would you like that?" Even though Blaine's voice was deeper when he awoke, it was actually a bit husky in this moment leaving no doubt what he was implying.
"I'm pretty sure I could be persuaded to wait, especially considering your skills."
"I do have plenty of them, don't I?" With as close as Blaine was to him, Sebastian could've sworn he felt Blaine smirk behind him For the most part, Blaine was certainly quiet, but when he was in a certain mood, he could put Sebastian to shame. "You should know, the reason I was so social with everyone last night was because tonight is all about us." Blaine told him as he loosened his hold before gently pushing him forward. "Once we leave the stadium tonight, I'm all yours." He told him as he leaned over his shoulder. "Do you like the sound of that?"
"Love it." Sebastian replied as he turned his head, hoping to capture Blaine's lips with his. Yet that wasn't possible as Blaine was already kissing his way down his back. For someone that used to be such a control freak in bed, Sebastian had no issue turning over complete control to Blaine. While things had certainly started out one way in their relationship, things had quickly progressed and balanced out between the two. Sebastian didn't know how Blaine did it, and he really did care as another soft moan escaped his lips. Blaine knew his body so well, that he couldn't help but give into the pleasure being provided.
When Blaine reached towards the nightstand, Sebastian glanced at him with heavy lidded eyes due to how relaxed he felt. "Do you want me to move?" Sebastian asked him once their eyes locked on one another.
"Only if you want to." Blaine replied before tugging open the draw and reaching inside. With everything going on that day, he felt it was best to play it safe. It only took one good look at Sebastian for Blaine to push back once he had what he needed, allowing Sebastian to roll over. "Any particular reason why?" Blaine asked while helping situate Sebastian's long legs.
"Want to see you." Sebastian told him before allowing his eyes to travel over Blaine's body. While Blaine could be self-conscious Sebastian was always quick to reassure him. If Blaine hadn't pointed a few things out himself, Sebastian wasn't sure if he would've put all the little scars together. The one thing he made sure Blaine knew is that while they were there, they weren't as prominent as Blaine believed they were. From that moment forth, very little was actually said as they were both completely taking in the moment, enjoying it for everything it was. Each little hitch in their breath or arch of their body let the other know what they need with as in tune with one another as they were.
By the time they finished, each had quite the grin as they lied in bed, glancing at one another. "Was that persuasive enough?" Blaine asked as he took ahold of Sebastian's hand and gave it a squeeze. Sebastian smirked before glancing at the clock and then looking back at Blaine. "What is it?"
"Time flies when we're having fun." Sebastian told him while brushing his thumb over Blaine's hand. "And yes, you were more than persuasive Killer." When Blaine turned onto his side, Sebastian did so as well. "What do you say we go take a shower and then I cook breakfast as I'd originally planned?"
"Do we have time?"
"Yes, as long as we don't lose track of it in the shower." Sebastian replied. "Do you think we can behave B?"
"I think that's possible. Why don't you go turn the shower on while I check my phone real quick to make sure I have no important messages?"
"Alright, don't take long."
"I promise, I won't."
With what was happening that day, it hadn't really surprised anyone when Hunter mentioned he was crashing at Kimberly's that night after Blaine's show. "If you want, I can get you guys tickets to the game on Sunday if you think it might help." Kimberly said to Hunter as she perused her closet as she was unsure what to wear that day. "Unless you already have something in mind."
"Honestly, I'm going to see how he is before acting." Hunter replied as he propped himself up on the bed admiring the view of her in only her bra and panties. "For all I know, he's not going to want to talk to anyone. It all depends on the moment one talks to him as to how he seems to be handling it."
"I know it's not going to be easy since we deal with it." Kimberly told him as she took a skirt and blouse out. "The best you all can do, is support him as well as Jeff as they adjust and not presume how they are feeling."
"That's why I said what I did to the tickets, I don't want to presume." He said in response. "The last thing either of them need is the rest of us feeling sorry for them."
"True, as I that would only piss them off." She replied as she dressed. "They both start their internships on Monday, correct?"
"Yes, so timing couldn't be much better."
"How long till they'll be seeing them or do you not know?"
"If I remember correctly, it is two weeks till they'll get their first weekend together. So while it won't be that long, it'll be long enough as they're adjusting to being apart." Hunter told her. "From what Sebastian has said, the biggest thing for them is for Blaine to get a grasp of what's going to be happening daily."
"Understandable, as this is all going to be so new for him…for all of them. It's going to be a big transition for all of them." While she spoke, she grabbed a pair of shoes from the closet as they soon needed to be on their way. "At least from what I've seen, they're in very capable hands so it shouldn't be too hard. The big thing for Sebastian will be is adjusting to the crazy hours Blaine's going to be keeping."
"He's mentioned that, as has Blaine. Luckily, they have their full schedule so Sebastian knows when he'll be performing. It's just a matter of figuring out the pre-show routine."
"Got it." Kimberly stated before turning to look at him once her shoes were on. "Ready to go?"
"I'd prefer to stay here considering how incredible you look right now."
"We'll have plenty of time for that after the game." She replied with a wink. "But until then, you'll need to behave as I'll be working while you're enjoying the game."
"Are you sure you won't be able to join us?" He asked as he stepped towards her.
"Yes, as I'll be watching from the suite while most of you are sitting field level. It's a little hard to work down there as I don't have access to everything I need." She then wrapped her arms around him. "But rest assured, I'll be field level when Blaine performs as I wouldn't miss it."
"Alright, can't fault a guy for trying."
"No, one can't. Now let's get a move on before traffic gets too heavy."
Considering the time, Hunter was able to enjoy something very few would ever get to, the Stadium basically empty as not even the field crew was out. It was in this moment, he understood why this was a favorite of Kimberly's as there was something very tranquil about it. Hunter's eyes had begun to close when he started to hear voices through the PA system but they were rather quite. That was enough for him to sit forward and that's when he spotted quite a few people on the field behind home plate. Once he took a closer look as he swore some of the voices sounded familiar, he saw a guitar in one of their hands. A smile crept to his face as he watched a microphone get set up, as now that he knew Blaine was at least one of the people down on the field. So if Blaine was down there, he had a good feeling that Sebastian and Vincent were two of the others that were with him.
It only took a few more minutes till everyone stepped away and Blaine began to sing. Even hearing Blaine do his acoustic sets with his band, this was something completely different to listen to. While he'd seen Blaine perform in front of crowds before, nothing could compare to what he'd be doing in a matter of hours. Blaine was about finished when Kimberly came up behind Hunter and set her hand on his back. Once Blaine finished, he turned to look at her. "He sounds amazing."
"I can't argue with that." She told him. "He was here yesterday afternoon as well and reinforced that the correct decision was made. Would you like to go down and talk to them?" The moment he cocked his head, she smiled. "I've got some time, I can take you down. I'm sure they'd both love to see you."
"So, Sebastian is here with him?" Hunter asked as they began to walk.
"Yes, he's here as well. I saw them pass one of the offices when I was inside. Blaine looks relaxed while Sebastian looks excited."
"I know those looks well. The more performances Blaine has, the more relaxed he's become, meanwhile, Sebastian looks prouder and prouder at each one."
"I'd have to agree with that assessment, but this time add-in some excitement."
"That would be because of where he is playing." Hunter replied before sliding his arm around her. "This really is a big deal, especially considering the timing of everything."
"We spoke about that earlier actually. When I walked into one of the girls' offices, Blaine's single was actually on the radio." Kimberly told him as they rounded a corner. The longer they walked, the more lost Hunter was as the inner workings were so different than what was open to the public. "And since I'm friends with him, she asked if he has a video coming out. Once I said yes, she asked when it was coming out, do you know?"
"I don't actually, so that is something we can ask him once he's done."
When they made their way out onto the field, Blaine was finishing up once again. After he finished, there was a brief conversation and soon they saw Blaine removing his guitar and handing it to Sebastian for a moment. The two stayed far enough back so that they didn't interrupt what was happening. Once they turned, Blaine and Sebastian smiled upon seeing familiar faces. Kimberly stepped off to the side to speak with the member of staff as others took the microphone and stand off the field. "Did you know he'd be here?" Vincent asked as he spotted Hunter near the wall.
"Yes, just didn't know when he was going to get here." Blaine replied. "Yet, considering his girlfriend works here, it really shouldn't be a surprise. Quite a few of my friends are going to be here today as well."
"I forgot his relation to this situation. Now, remember to take it easy until it's time, alright?"
"Don't worry, I will. I was told I'm allowed to watching batting practice from the field which is what we intend to do. And from the looks of things, that will be starting soon." Blaine replied as he spotted the cages coming out. "Do you need me to do anything else?"
"No, but don't wander off. I'm going to go make a few calls but I'll be back." Vincent then looked at Sebastian. "The same goes for you, don't wander off as I don't need him worrying."
"I won't." Sebastian told him which earned him a smile. It was only a few moments later that he walked away and Hunter joined them. "How long have you been here?"
"Long enough to hear Blaine's run through." Hunter replied. "You sounded really good Blaine."
"Thank you." Blaine said in response. "I'll have to take your word along with everyone else as I couldn't really hear since I was wearing my inner ears."
"And even if he had, he'd be too modest to admit it." Sebastian added earning a chuckle from Hunter. "It's true B. Now, with your connections are you sitting with us?"
"I am actually." Hunter replied as Kimberly came walking over. "Are the two of you staying for the entire game?"
"We are as it means we aren't getting pulled in every direction." Blaine replied. "And by we, I mean me. This is the type of day Bas and I need."
"Well then, I don't feel as bad about this all happening now." Kimberly told him. "Just know, once she finds someone she likes, she tends to ask them back."
"If that happens, and my schedule allows I will gladly do so."
"She'll be pleased to hear it considering the conversation we just had." That additional comment brought a blush to Blaine's cheeks which was something she was finally coming accustomed to. Even with everything that was happening the next day, Blaine hadn't changed in the slightest. While the three of them spoke more, the players began making their way onto the field. It was during this time, that Vincent sent Blaine a text that brought quite the smile to his face.
"Something you want to share with us Killer?" Sebastian asked as he rubbed Blaine's lower back. Yet he didn't speak; only seemed to smile more. "Gonna keep me in suspense B?" Blaine looked up at him, a glimmer in his eyes that instantly caught Sebastian's attention as Blaine handed him his phone. Once he had it in hand, it wasn't long till Sebastian began smiling like Blaine.
"What, are you both going to keep whatever this good news is to yourself?" Hunter asked as he looked between them. "That's not right."
"B, it's your call." When Blaine bit his lower lip, it didn't surprise Sebastian in the slightest as Blaine wasn't one to tout his own accomplishments. "You sure?" Blaine nodded, yet one could also tell whatever it was had Blaine in a state of shock of sorts. "Okay then, B's single made the top ten in songs sold this week."
"What?" Kimberly exclaimed loud enough that quite a few of the players were now staring at them.
"Yea, that's why he's acting the way he is." Sebastian replied before motion towards Blaine to hand his phone to Hunter so the two could see it. Once he got Blaine's approval, the two could see the text that was sent.
"That's incredible Blaine!" Hunter told him before hugging him which caught Blaine a bit off-guard, but fit the moment. "Yet, I'm not too surprised since it's on the radio all the time."
"He's right." Kimberly added before hugging him as well once Hunter let go. "Fair warning, you might hear it today as it was playing on the PA system yesterday during warm-ups." When Blaine's eyes got a bit wider, she smiled. "Don't be so surprised as the players listen to a ton a music and are quite on top of what's happening in the music world."
"But…"
"Blaine, it's not on there by my choice…it's on their because of them as they put the warm-up playlist together. So, clearly you have a few fans on the team as it takes a majority to get a song on that list." Just as she finished up, her phone went off so she had to excuse herself but not before she gave Hunter a kiss. "Hopefully I'll be able to make it down when you do your thing." She then leaned in and kissed Blaine on the cheek. "Take good care of him Sebastian."
"Always." Sebastian replied before getting a kiss as well. Once she walked away, Hunter handed Blaine back his phone. "You might want to forward that to your parents and Cooper."
"You're right; I can't believe I didn't think of that."
"It's okay B, you're in shock, it's allowed." Sebastian told him and soon watched as Blaine forwarded the news to his family. "They're going to be ecstatic when they get it. One can only imagine how Cooper is going to react."
"I have no doubt we'll find out." Blaine reassured him before sliding his phone into his pocket. "This is Cooper we're talking about. He's been anything but subtle in his support of me."
"That could be said for most of us." Hunter told him. "We've all been telling everyone we know about you Blaine, but it's well deserved considering how talented you are."
"I appreciate that Hunter, more than any of you will ever know. All of this is more than I ever expected."
"Face it B, it's not going to be long till everyone knows just how talented you truly are." When Blaine looked at him, Sebastian refrained from kissing him on the forehead considering the setting. "It's true, and now you have numbers to back up what we all know. Maybe, just maybe that'll get you believing it as well."
Once the visiting team started making their way out onto the field, it wasn't long after that the three of them made their way off reporters started appearing as well. Considering Kimberly had gone back to work, Hunter excused himself to leave so Blaine and Sebastian could enjoy this bit of quiet. Not to mention, their friends were starting to arrive as well as they'd begun texting them. After he was gone, Sebastian sat down beside Blaine on the couch in the room they were in and watched as Vincent and the others went about business. It wasn't too surprising since Blaine and the others were leaving the next morning.
"You know you don't have to come with tomorrow morning since we're leaving so early." Blaine told Sebastian as he took ahold of his hand. Even though he was already looking at Blaine, that caused Sebastian to reach for Blaine's cheek and have him look at him. It was in that moment, he brushed a lone tear off of Blaine's cheek with his thumb. "Bas."
"Not now B, alright as we're going to enjoy this and you're going to impress the hell out of everyone." Sebastian said to him while running his thumb over Blaine's cheek bone. "But for your information, nothing is going to stop me from going, except if you don't want me there." When Sebastian glanced down, Blaine gave his hand a squeeze."
"No, I want you there Bas. I just didn't want you to feel obligated to come."
"Blaine, I'm going to take advantage of every last minute we have together." Hearing this from Sebastian, a smile crept to Blaine face before he felt Sebastian's lips brush against his. "Is that alright with you?"
"It's more than alright as I want the same thing."
This little moment between the two of them wasn't going unnoticed as Vincent's assistant looked up at him. "Aren't you concerned?"
"Why would I be?" Vincent replied as he continued to look over the upcoming schedule.
"Because Blaine doesn't look happy." She told him. "I'm pretty certain I saw Sebastian wiping away a tear."
"Would you be happy the entire time if you knew you were soon going to be leaving someone you care about?" Vincent said in response. "He's going to have his moments, no matter how great an opportunity this is."
"I guess I really hadn't thought of it that way. With as hectic as things have been, I guess it's easy to get caught up on what's happening and not other aspects of the situation."
"Exactly, there is more to the situation than most will realize." Vincent continued. "People tend to forget that when artists leave, even if they're close to those they work with, they're often leaving others behind."
With everything going on inside the room, Blaine began to play as it always helped him to focus. While he did, he smiled more than a few times when Sebastian started showing him pictures sent to him of their friends. Even though plenty of them had mentioned coming, neither had a clue that all of them were going to be there besides Rachel who was performing that afternoon. Seeing them all there was something Blaine needed even if he didn't know it originally.
By the time Blaine needed to take the field, Sebastian had only left moments prior as he wanted to be in his seat for Blaine's performance. Once he made his way to the dugout, he noticed quite a few eyes on him as they were gathering what they needed. Blaine had just released a deep breath when a member of staff let him know it was time. During his walk out to the microphone behind home plate, Blaine managed to spot Sebastian who was standing along with Hunter and Thad. All it took was one wink from Sebastian for a smile to creep to his face. While he checked the microphone one last time, the crowd rose to their feet upon his introduction.
Considering the situation, it would've been easy to expect him to be nervous, but he was surprisingly calm as he felt his usual performance jitters and nothing more. From the moment Blaine began, Thad and Hunter each glanced at Sebastian on occasion as he seemed to be in a daze. While it could be easy to tease him about it, they could understand considering the setting. By the time Blaine finished, they couldn't wait for him to join them, particularly after hearing how those around them approved of his rendition.
Since Blaine didn't get to his seat till the bottom of the first, the guys had to keep most of their comments to themselves. Yet once they were able to truly speak, they didn't have the opportunity as others wanted to talk with him. Thad leaned over to glance at Sebastian who was clearly eyeing anyone that came close to Blaine. Something he found amusing considering Scott was sitting directly behind them. Though with everything that had been going on, he could understand Sebastian being protective of the one he loves.
Once the game ended, Blaine and Sebastian disappeared inside the stadium as Blaine needed to get his guitar while the others were all going to meet outside. After watching the two, Thad was pretty sure that even though Blaine and Sebastian were joining them for dinner, they weren't going to be making a night out of it. Anyone that knew them could tell the closer Blaine's impending departure became, the harder things were becoming. And those feelings were confirmed with one look at Jeff and Morgan who wouldn't let go of one another.
When they finally made their way to the others, it didn't go unnoticed by some that Sebastian stepped back once they surrounded Blaine. "You know, it's as hard on him as it is on you." Sebastian turned his head and looked down at Morgan who was standing beside him. "I'm certain he'd prefer going home with you than going out to dinner."
"Is that so?" Sebastian replied as he slid his arm around her shoulders as Jeff was over with Nick and the others talking with Blaine. "How are you so sure about that?"
"It's because when my friends came around last night, as much as I wanted to spend time with them before we leave, I wanted to be with Jeff more." Morgan told him as she slid her arm around his waist. "It doesn't mean we don't care about them, we just care about you more."
"Yet you won't do it as you don't want to make them feel badly."
"Precisely, and we both know Blaine never wants to upset people." Morgan then gave his side a squeeze. "You know it too which is why you're letting them have this time with him. It can't be easy having to share him in this moment." Those last words seemed to have more of an impact on Sebastian than she realized they would. "Sebastian, you don't always have to be the bad-ass." When he cocked an eyebrow, Morgan smiled. "You don't think Jeff hasn't filled me in on you, have you?" Once he chuckled, he tightened his hold around her. "Fear not, your secret is safe with me. Though, I'm pretty certain a few others have a good idea of how you're feeling."
"Outside of Jeff?" Morgan nodded in response. "You're right, yet at the same time it's hard for them to say goodbye knowing they just got him back. Those years without him were harder than they'll ever admit." Sebastian continued as he listened to them trying to figure out where to go eat and Blaine glancing over at him quite a bit. "I can't count the times his name came up in conversation."
"I hope you all know how much he missed all of you. Whether he realized it or not, he spoke of you all quite a bit, just not always by name."
"We do as he made that pretty clear. Are you all ready to go?"
"As ready as one can be." Shortly after she replied, Blaine called out for the two to come and join them as they were ready to leave. "Sebastian, don't feel bad about wanting this last bit of time with him, all to yourself. You love him, it's natural."
"I'll keep that in mind as I bide my time till I take him away."
"Good, as I have a feeling Blaine's going to need you to do it."
"My dear, this is one time I have no problems being the bastard most people presume I am." Morgan was quick to smile as they were both now being stared at by Blaine and Jeff which got them walking. The closer the two got, Jeff and Blaine began exchanging looks as they couldn't help feeling something had gone on between the two of them. Once they joined them, Jeff looked at the two. "What is it?"
"What did we miss out on?" Jeff asked in response as they headed for the car as they were riding with Blaine and Sebastian to dinner while everyone else took the subway. "Don't deny it, I know that look on your face."
"Nothing you need to concern yourself over." Sebastian replied before sliding into the car behind Blaine. "I mean, it's not as though I was making a move on her." When Blaine laughed, Sebastian looked at him. "You find that funny Killer."
"I do." Blaine told him as Morgan and Jeff got settled. "She's not your type. While she's cute, not your type."
"Fair enough." Sebastian said before giving Blaine a kiss as they felt their car begin to move.
"Now what was going on?" Jeff asked once more as Morgan curled up against him.
"Your dear lady love and I were having a discussion, that's all."
"He's right Jeff, as unlike everyone else I have a better perspective into what's going through Blaine's mind."
"Do you now?" Blaine replied as he took one of Sebastian's hands into his as she nodded. "So, what's going through my mind?"
"That while you want to spend time with everyone, you'd rather be home with Sebastian, making the most of these last hours together." Her direct answer earned her a look from Jeff who then looked at Blaine and Sebastian. "Am I correct? Blaine?"
"You're correct." Blaine said while giving Sebastian's hand a squeeze. "I take it you feel the same."
"I did last night when a bunch of my friends came by." Morgan replied. "They felt it was best to do it last night knowing I'd want to spend tonight with Jeff."
"Well, from what everyone said they realize that as well." Blaine told them. "Yet I know when we go to leave, it's going to be hard."
"And as I told Morgan, I have no problems being the bad guy." Sebastian chimed in with before giving Blaine a kiss. "Now, will Santana and Jordan be joining us?"
"No, as they both have to work." Blaine replied. "So they said their goodbyes and told me they'll be in touch Tuesday once they see the video."
"So, you told everyone its premiere date." Morgan said to him and Blaine nodded. "Are they excited?"
"They are, especially Santana from everything Brittany hinted at."" Blaine responded. "I'll show you guys the video tomorrow."
"Sweet!"
Much as he had outside of the stadium, Sebastian gave everyone their time with Blaine though he stayed by this side this time. The only time he wasn't, was when Blaine stepped away to take a call from Rachel as they both knew he'd be gone by the time she woke the next day. Just as Morgan had said, the others were well aware of the fact that Blaine wasn't going to be with the entire night as he and Sebastian needed time alone together. So once dinner was over with, the others made it rather easy on them as they essentially told them to leave. When Blaine took a double look, Wes looked at him directly as he was beside him. "Even though we all would love more time with you, we all know you and Sebastian need it more."
"Thank you." Blaine replied before giving him a hug. "I don't…" For a moment, Blaine was at a loss for words causing him to glance up at Sebastian who had a similar look on his face.
"You don't need to thank us Blaine, nor you Sebastian." Wes told them. "Go home. We'll all be seeing you soon enough."
"Thanks."
"Don't mention it." Wes replied before they let go of one another. "Sebastian, if you need anything do not hesitate to call me."
"I won't." Once Sebastian spoke, he and Wes shared a brief hug as well before Blaine and Sebastian headed on their way. During their ride back home, neither said much, as the realization was clearly hitting them both. Now that they were heading home, it was only a matter of hours till Blaine left for tour. Even when they walked inside their apartment, there sat Blaine's bags practically taunting them of his impending departure. They were clearly both feeling it as the moment the door was locked, their lips found one another and they stumbled their way to their bedroom. If anyone tried calling them, those calls were going to go unanswered as these last hours were going to be all about them in every sense.
By the time dual alarms went off hours later, Blaine slowly opened his eyes to find Sebastian staring at him. "Didn't you sleep any?" Blaine asked before scooting closer for a bit of warmth as the only thing draped over them was the top sheet. When Sebastian shook his head, Blaine tilted his head enough to place a kiss on his jaw. "Care to tell me why?"
"Couldn't." Sebastian replied before brushing some of Blaine's curls off his forehead. "Did you sleep well?"
"I didn't really sleep." Blaine told him and soon felt Sebastian wrap his arms tightly around him. "Like you, I really couldn't." It wasn't surprising to get a look from Sebastian at those words. "Relax Bas; I'll sleep on the bus. Care to join me for a shower?" Sebastian nodded before pressing a kiss to Blaine's forehead.
Even though they didn't have much time till there would be a knock on the door, it didn't stop them from picking up where they'd left off earlier. Once they were done, they dressed in relative silence while not really taking their eyes off of one another. When Blaine went to pick their duvet up off the floor after he was dressed, Sebastian stopped him. "Leave it; I'll straighten up once I get home." While he spoke, they both looked around at the blankets and pillows that had been discarded onto the floor.
"I can help."
"I know, but it's not necessary." Sebastian replied before wrapping his arms around him. "How are you feeling?"
"Nervous…excited…scared." Blaine told him before resting his head against Sebastian's chest. "You?"
"The same, but probably for different reasons."
"If coming with me this morning is going to be too hard, you don't have to as I understand that it won't be easy."
"While it won't be easy, it's something I need to do." Sebastian told him, his voice cracking in the process. "But if you've changed your mind and don't want me t…" Sebastian's words were cut off as Blaine pressed his lips to his, catching Sebastian off-guard.
"I haven't changed my mind." Blaine replied once the kiss broke.
"That's good to know." While he spoke, Sebastian brushed a tear from Blaine's cheek. "We're a mess Blaine."
"I know." Blaine said while doing the same for him. "But there's no way I was going to be able to keep it together Sebastian, I love you too much."
"I love you too Blaine, so much." Sebastian tilted his head down to kiss him and just as their lips brushed, they heard a knock at the door. "I guess we'll have to finish this kiss in another location."
"Definitely."
Upon opening the door, they were a bit surprised to see one of the other members of the security team and not Scott. Their shock was clear as it was immediately told to them that Scott was at the bus already making sure everything was ready. With that bit of information, it didn't take them long to gather all of Blaine's belongings and head on their way. During their drive to the depot where the buses were waiting for them, they didn't let go of each other's hands. While the drive was long, it didn't quite seem long enough once they finally came to a full stop and heard the front doors open.
Once they were it wasn't much longer till the back door opened and Blaine and Sebastian made their way out. When they looked around, they couldn't believe all they were witnessing. Their shock must've been evident as it wasn't long till Vincent made his way towards them. After talking to them briefly, he was soon pulled away as something needed his attention. While the bags were getting stored beneath, Blaine stopped the crew from taking the guitars that were in his and Sebastian's hands. His acoustic as well as the one Sebastian had given him were going on the bus with him. When they tried to argue, their tour manager came over and put a quick end to things.
After that was taken care of, the two made their way onto the bus. As they looked around, they glanced at one another before making their way towards the bunks. "Should we find out how comfortable they are?" Blaine asked as he gave Sebastian's hand a squeeze.
"I'm game." Sebastian replied before Blaine tossed his bag onto the bunk and grabbed his other guitar from Sebastian. "Don't be long." Blaine smiled and then went to put his guitars in the lounge while Sebastian made himself comfortable. As he stretched out, he was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable it was. He was looking at the mini television that was mounted nearby when Blaine got in beside him. "That was quick."
"You told me not to be long." Blaine replied before curling up beside him. "I could get used to this."
"Me too." Sebastian told him before leaning over to kiss him. It didn't surprise either that they got caught up in one another rather quickly. Yet they quickly moved apart upon hearing someone clear their throat. "You're a bastard." Sebastian stated upon meeting eyes with Jeff who was placing Morgan's bag on the upper bunk across from Blaine's
"You could've ignored me." Jeff told him. "You two look comfy."
"We are." Blaine replied while slowly sitting up. "Where is Morgan?"
"Overseeing the storage of her upright as she's paranoid about it getting damaged." Jeff said in response. "Not to be crude, but don't expect much conversation from Morgan as she's going to probably crash once you guys leave."
"She's not the only one." Blaine told him. "I'm pretty sure none of us got a lot of sleep last night, if any." Jeff nodded as that was a sentiment he understood all too well.
It was probably about an hour later when Vincent made his way onto the bus as they were all inside getting settled. "I hate to do this, but we need to get going which means Sebastian and Jeff need to go." Once the words left his mouth, the others looked at the two couples.
"See you in a couple of weeks Killer." Sebastian said as they wrapped their arms tightly around one another, much as Morgan and Jeff were doing.
"Couple of weeks." Blaine replied before stretching to kiss him. "But we'll talk tonight."
"Absolutely." Sebastian told him. "You're going to blow them away Blaine." Blaine smiled up at him as he spoke and in that moment Sebastian could see the tears pooling in Blaine's eyes that he felt in his own. "I love you Blaine."
"I love you too Sebastian." Once Blaine spoke, the two had one last kiss before slowly moving away from one another. As Sebastian and Jeff headed out, Blaine wrapped his arm around Morgan whose tears had begun to flow. While he held her, the two were soon wrapped up in a hug from their bandmates who saw firsthand how hard this was on both of them. It didn't surprise Vincent when they all disappeared into the back lounge for some time together as the bus prepared to leave.
Once the bus door closed, Sebastian looked over at Jeff who was wiping away tears much as Sebastian was in that moment. While neither would probably cry in front of anyone, in this moment, neither was going to fight what they were feeling. "They're in for one hell of a ride Sebastian."
"I know, this is the start of something really freaking special!" The words were leaving his mouth as they started to pull away. "That's what we need to focus on." Sebastian added as he wiped his cheeks once again. "And if you…"
"Relax Sebastian, I won't tell anyone you cried as long as you do the same for me."
"Deal. Do you want to grab something to eat or something?" Jeff asked as they headed towards the car that was waiting to take them back into the city.
"No thanks, I'm going to head home and get some sleep. Maybe later?"
"Yea, as sleep sounds really good at the moment." Jeff told him as they got settled into the car. "Plus, sleeping will hopefully make it hurt a little less."
"That is till we wake up and it hits us all over again."
