They put my father behind bars. One of them has to pay.. Justin thought as he watched the Firehouse 51 family enjoy their night.

Next Morning-Gabby's Apartment

"Morning." Matt said, kissing her cheek as he walked into the living room. "Whatcha doin?"

"Morning. Plotting evil ways to wake my brother up." Gabby said, sipping her coffee as Laura stood next to her.

"Well, there is the ice trick, the my house is on fire and many more." Matt said, walking into the kitchen.

"I like the ice trick. What do you think Gabs?" Laura asked, looking at her.

"Perfect. I will stay here, you get the ice with Matt." Gabby smirked, as Laura walked off towards the kitchen to get the ice.

"How much do you want?" Matt asked, coming back with a bucket full.

"That will do. Okay on three. 1..2..3." Gabby said, as Matt threw the ice on him.

"What the-" Antonio sputtered before falling off the couch.

"Don't even think about ending that sentence Antonio Dawson." Laura laughed, as he sat up and stared at the three of them.

"Who's idea was this?" He asked, standing up while rubbing his head.

"Not mine." Laura and Matt said, taking a step back from Gabby.

"Oh come on. We were all in on it." Gabby said, turning and walking to the kitchen.

"Huh, what time is it?" He asked, looking around for a clock.

"Its a little after 6." Matt said, sitting down at the table.

"I have work." Antonio muttered, as Gabby set a mug of coffee in front of him before rejoining Laura in the kitchen to make breakfast.

"Sucks to be you." Gabby smirked, as she cracked the eggs.

"Where are the kids?" He asked, looking around.

"At Mom and Dads." Gabby replied.

"I better get going. I will see you all later." Antonio said, kissing Laura and Gabby.

"We will drop lunch off later.

District 21-Intelligence Unit

"You look like your hungover." Ruzek commented as Antonio came into view.

"Yeah, and you look like you can get a good beating later." Antonio retorted, grabbing some asprin.

"He's pissed when he is hungover." Halstead said, sitting down where Wilhite would usually sit at the table.

"Move." Antonio growled, as he sat down next to him.

"Sorry." Jay said, before moving to his usual chair.

"Good morning detectives. I'm Captain Cresswell, and I will be taking over the Intelligence Unit. Everything is going to stay the same as it was before. As I have my own tatics to use on suspects. Now Dawson, you need a new partner." Cresswell said, standing at the front of the group.

"With all due respect sir, I don't need a new partner. I can work fine by myself." Antonio said, folding his arms.

"I don't care, you're getting a new partner. You don't have to like her." Cresswell said before leaving towards his office.

"What's her name?" Dawson asked, following him into his office.

"Sumner. She should be here soon." He replied, watching the detective closely.

"Great," Antonio said sarcastically, before taking his leave and walking towards his desk.

An hour later-Gabby's Apartment

"Thanks for letting us stay here." Laura said, as they locked the apartment and walking downstairs.

"No problem. You're both welcome anytime." Gabby said, as they walked to her car.

"Where did Matt go?" Laura asked, getting into the passenger seat.

"He headed over to Severide and Shay's place to watch the game they recorded last night." Gabby replied starting her car and pulling away from the curb an headed towards Laura's bakery.

"I think we recorded the game last night too. Antonio said something about wanting to watch it with Diego tonight." Laura said, as they came to a stop at a red light two blocks away from the bakery.

District 21

"Detective Dawson, I want you to meet your new partner Sumner. Get to know each other." Cresswell said, before leaving them alone in the break room.

"Nice to meet you." She said, holding her hand out.

"Yeah, just a couple of things you need to know. I don't like you, I will have your back but I won't go out to drinks with you after shift. We won't be friends, we will be co-workers. And I won't be calling you my partner. Are we clear?" Antonio said, staring her down.

"Yes sir." She replied, before walking towards her new desk. Which was Wilhites.

"Hey, hey. What are you doing?" He asked, looking up at her from his desk.

"I need a desk." Sumner replied, looking back at him.

"Not that one. That was Wilhite's desk. I'll let everyone know when someone can use it." Antonio said, watching her back away from the desk and towards another one.

He opened his drawer and took out the group photo he had kept.

Dawson Family Bakery

Justin sat waiting outside in his car. Watching them as they cooked, served customers and enjoyed each others company.

Inside

"You ready to take lunch to Antonio and the crew?" Laura asked as she shut up shop.

"Yeah. Wonder if has bitten off anyones head yet." Gabby said, picking up a plate of sandwiches and walking towards her car and putting them in the back seat.

"More than likely." Laura sighed, as she got into the passenger seat and Gabby into the drivers seat.

District 21

"Dawson, you've got visitors." Platt said, from the top of the stairs.

"Who?" He asked, without looking up.

"I don't know. I will send them up with Burgess and Atwater." Platt said, before disappearing back downstairs.

"Hey," Laura said, as she walked in with Gabby and the two uniformed officers, Burgess and Atwater

"Hey yourself. What are you doing here?" Antonio asked, his mood lightening and he hugged her and Gabby.

"Dropping off lunch for you all." Gabby replied, holding up a bag from the bakery.

"Looks good." Ruzek said, taking out of her hands as they all raided it.

"How long are you two staying?" He asked, wrapping arm around Laura's waist. A motion that didn't go un-noticed by Sumner.

"An hour or two." Laura replied, sitting down at the table in the breakroom.

"Good. This is Detective Sumner. Sumner this is my wife Laura and younger sister Gabriela." Antonio said, making introductions.

"Nice to meet you." Sumner said, before going to sit in the back corner.

"You too." The girls replied, before turning back to the others in the group.
