#61 Like a Glove
You know the saying, 'fits like a glove'? Well that's how Derek felt about his leather jacket. It was comfortable and worn in, molding to his body perfectly. No other jacket, article of clothing, or hell, his recliner felt that perfectly made for him, that is until her. Before Casey and Derek started dating, and even in the beginning of their relationship, Derek was strongly opposed to PDA, and that included holding hands. But eventually Derek really started falling hard under her spell. And soon enough, Casey had Derek completely wrapped around her finger, and he couldn't have been happier.
He was willing to do anything to make that girl smile, whether it was kissing her in public or taking her to see yet another cheesy romantic comedy. When he really started holding Casey's hand, he forgot all about that old leather jacket. You see, to Derek, nothing could ever feel as comfortable or right as when he was holding Casey's hand. Warm, soft, comforting, loving, home; those were all the words that came to Derek's mind when he held her hand.
Nowadays Casey usually wore the leather jacket, even though it was huge on her. Derek was more than satisfied, because as long as he had Casey's hand to hold, nothing could ever come close to feeling as right for him.
