"Mom and Dad are hiding something. And I'm going to find out what." Diego said before leaving the room.

"Oh boy," Eva mumbled before rolling over and going to sleep.

"Morning you two, have you got everything ready for school?" Tim Dawson asked, as Eva and Diego walked into the kitchen.

"Can't we go and see Mom today instead?" Diego whined, grabbing a bowl and cereal and sitting down at the table.

"No, your education comes first. Mom will be home when you get home from school." Andrea said, handing them both lunch boxes.

"Thanks. Give Mom a kiss from me please." Eva said, swinging her bag onto her shoulder.

"I will, come on otherwise you both are going to be late for school," She said, grabbing her car keys.

"Come on Diego." Eva said, as they ran out the door.

Lakeshore

"Morning, how are you feeling?" Antonio asked, as Laura woke up kissing her cheek.

"Sick," She replied, giving him a small smile and rolling onto her side to look at him.

"It will get better babe, same happened when you were pregnant with Eva and Diego," Antonio said, brushing back her hair.

"I know, can't wait until morning sickness is over." She said, as Antonio's parents walked in.

"How are you feeling sweetie?" Andrea asked, kissing her daughter-in-laws cheek.

"Feeling a little nauseous but good." She replied, sitting up as the doctor walked in with the ultrasound machine.

"Can I ask you too leave just for five minutes, you can come back in after we've done the initial assessment." The doctor said, setting up the equipment.

"Sure, we'll be right outside." Andrea said before they walked back out the door.

5 minutes later

"You can come back in now." Antonio said, poking his head around the corner of the door.

"Everything looks good. I would say you are around the 12 week mark. The gel will be a little cold." She said, squirting some onto her abdomen.

"I'm used to it." Laura said, as Antonio held her hand as the doctor moved the wand over her abdomen.

"And there, is your baby. Healthy little one. I will see you back here at 16 weeks for another ultrasound. Until then I would like you on bed rest." She said after printing out some copies of the sonogram.

"Are you ready to go home?" Andrea asked, as she walked out of the bathroom five minutes later.

"Yes," Laura replied, as Antonio grabbed her bag and wrapped an arm around her waist.

"Let's go." Tim said, opening the door for them.

Antonio and Laura's house

"The kids are at school, we will see you both later. And Antonio, stay out of the kitchen." Andrea said, kissing them both on the cheek.

"Yes Mom," Antonio said, closing the door behind them. "You okay?"

"Yeah I'm fine, I just want to sleep." Laura said, barely suppressing a yawn.

"You go rest and I will do the laundry or something." Antonio said, watching her walk to the stairs.

"Don't blow anything up." She warned before disappearing upstairs.

That afternoon.

"Dad! We're home." Eva and Diego yelled, as they dumped their bags in the hall way.

"Hey guys, Mom is upstairs sleeping. Be careful okay." Antonio said, hugging both kids and giving them a kiss on the head.

"Can we go see her?" Eva asked, as they sat down at the table.

"How much homework do you have?" He asked, placing a plate of fruit in front of them both.

"English and Maths." They replied, grabbing an apple piece.

"Go see your Mom then you can do your home work." Antonio said, following them to the stairs.

Upstairs-Laura and Antonio's Room

"Mom," They said, climbing onto the bed carefully.

"Hey you two," Laura mumbled sleepily, sitting up slightly.

"Are you okay Mommy?" Diego asked, snuggling into her side.

"Yeah I'm fine. Just need some rest." She replied, kissing his forehead.

"Would you be able to help us with some homework later?" Eva asked, settling into her other side.

"Sure, Antonio you are so not cooking dinner tonight." Laura said, throwing back the covers and sitting on the edge of the bed.

"I was just going to order pizza," Antonio said, wrapping an arm around her waist and walking out of the room and down the stairs together.

"Really? Its not Friday." Laura said, sitting down at the kitchen table.

"I could cook if you want." Antonio said, sitting next to her as the kids sat on the other side.

"No absolutely not." Laura laughed, shaking her head as there was a knock on the door.

"I'll get it." Eva said, running to the door and swinging it open to find Matt and Gabby on the other side.

"Hey Eva," Matt said as the young girl hugged him.

"Hey come on in. Mom, Dad and Diego are in the kitchen." Eva said, closing the door behind them and following behind them towards the kitchen.

"Hey," Gabby said, hugging Laura lightly and Antonio while Diego wrapped his arms around her waist.

"Hey, sit down. Do you want anything to drink?" Laura said, standing up and walking into the kitchen.

"Sure, how are you doing?" Gabby asked, sitting next to Antonio.

"Good," Laura said, grabbing coffee cups out of the cupboard.

"I think you should sit down," Antonio said, standing up and walking over to her.

"I'm fine, take these to the table." Laura said, pushing two coffee cups towards him.

"Okay," he replied, walking over to the table and placing the coffees in front of Gabby and Matt.

"You two go upstairs and do your homework." Antonio said, they grabbed their homework and went upstairs.

"When are you going to tell the kids?" Gabby asked, lowering her voice in case they were listening.

"I was thinking after the 16 week ultrasound, just so we know that everything is okay." Laura said, Antonio nodding his head in agreement.

"Good choice. So you hoping for a boy or a girl?" Matt asked, taking a sip of the hot liquid.

"I'm not sure, as long as bub is healthy, I'm happy." Antonio said, also taking a sip of his coffee.

"I'm just happy is the baby is healthy." Laura said, sitting down next to her husband.

Yes I know this chapter is short, but as I said in my previous story, I am currently sick, my studies are also more important they are number one priority. I will be updating Missing You tonight as well so its on time.. I won't be posting over Friday, Saturday or Sunday as I am headed into the city for three days.
