A/N: Hey guys! So, sorry if this chapter isn't as good as the others, but someone stole my fanfiction notebook :( so i'm kinda winging the last couple chapters! Enjoy!

Grant and May arrived at the hospital at the same time that everyone else did, having broken just about every traffic law on the way and Skye was immediately rushed away, tightly holding Grant's hand.

"Is she going to be okay?" Emily asked Coulson, sitting down beside him a short time later. The last time the doctor had come out he had told the group that they were busy running some tests.

"We can only hope that she'll be alright, Em." Coulson said, putting an arm around the teens shoulders as Grant came out.

"Is she alright, Ward?" Fitz asked, not liking how silent the other man was.

Grant shrugged, "Honestly, I don't know. They had to rush her into a C-Section. They wouldn't tell me why though." He said, sighing as he sat next to May and Emily turned to Coulson.

"Want to go get some coffee? We're going to be here for awhile." She said, looking at him with wide green eyes.

Coulson gave her a soft smile, "You go ahead, i'll stay right here."

"I'll go with you, Em." Jemma said, getting up and following the teen past the reception desk and heading down the stairs to get coffee for them and everyone else.

"She's going to be alright?" Emily asked once they got down to the almost empty cafeteria, pouring coffee for the both of them and then coffee to bring up to everyone else.

Jemma smiled and nodded, "She's going to be fine, Em. She and the baby will both be fine."

"Then why is she having a C-Section? Usually women have C-Sections when something's wrong with the baby."

"You're right, and something was wrong with the baby. Bleeding during pregnancy is never good."

Emily nodded and sighed, causing for Jemma to look at her.

"What is it?"

Emily shrugged, "I feel like i'm forgetting something." She said, looking at her watch to see more than an hour had already passed since they had arrived at the hospital.

A cell phone rang and Emily suddenly remembered what she had been forgetting as they paid for the coffee and started to leave the cafe.

Emily picked up her phone and cautiously pressed it to her ear.

"Hey, sister dearest...how'd Steve handle the news?" She asked, trying to distract Maria and hope she'd be distracted enough not to yell at her.

Nope.

"Emily Renee Hill! Where the hell are you!? I told you never to leave the base without my permission or at least telling me where you were going! Now where the fuck are you!?" Maria yelled through the phone, causing for Emily to hold the phone away from her ear.

She acts more like a mom than a sister sometimes...She thought, sighing.

"At the hospital?" She said cautiously, making it sound more like a question.

"Why are you at the God Damn hospital? Is everything alright!?" Maria yelled, not only did she sound pissed, but she sounded stressed out and that was never a good combination.

"Don't freak out, Maria. In your condition it's not healthy."

"Don't change the damn subject, Emily," She said, sighing as she added, a lot calmer this time, "I'll be there in twenty minutes."

Emily hung up and shrugged as they ascended the stairs.

"Wipe that smile off your face, Jemma...I just forgot to tell Maria where I was." She said as they approached the group, handing a cup of coffee to everyone.

"Any news?" She asked, looking at Grant who looked as though he hadn't moved a muscle.

"No, but can I talk to you, Emily?" Grant asked, sighing and getting up.

Emily nodded and followed Grant away from the waiting room.

"Did Skye seem strange before this happened?" He asked, turning to look at her.

Emily shook her head, "No, she seemed fine...I mean, she did come to me about a month ago because she kept having a dream that something was wrong with the baby and she miscarried. I just told her that it was just a dream and that a lot of women had nightmares during pregnancy. She didn't tell you that she had been having them?"

Grant shook his head, "No, she didn't. Why didn't she?"

Emily shrugged, "Probably just didn't want you to worry about her."

Grant nodded and said nothing else as he turned and walked back towards the waiting room as a young female doctor with dark blonde hair pulled into a tight braid approached.

"Hello, you must be Skye's family. I'm Doctor Milano, I was in charge of her C-Section." She said, shaking all of their hands.

"Is Skye alright?" May asked, speaking for the first time since arriving.

The doctor sighed, "Well, I have good news and bad news. Which would you like first?" She asked, clasping her hands in front of her.

"Good news." Everyone said simultaneously.

"Well, the good news is that Skye had a baby girl, she will be in the NICU for a few days just so we can monitor her and make sure that she's healthy." She said, averting her gaze briefly before looking at them again.

"And the bad news?" Fitz asked, looking at the doctor anxiously.

"Well, Skye started to hemorrhage, that's why we had to perform the C-Section, and she's currently in a coma, but we have high hopes that she'll wake up soon. She's also in the ICU."

"May we go see her?"

Doctor Milano nodded and gave a soft smile, "Of course." She said, beckoning for the group to follow her through a set of double doors to Skye's room, where the was hooked up to various monitors with breathing tubes up her nose and an IV in her arm. She looked so weak...almost like when Quinn had shot her all those months earlier.

Grant grabbed her hand gently in his own, kissing her knuckles and brushing a strand of her dark hair out of her face.

"Please wake up, Skye."
