"Why are we going home early?" Eva asked, as Antonio pulled out in the busy traffic.

"We will explain when we get home," Laura said, turning to face them with a smile.

"Dad, you know there is a police car following you?" Diego said, looking at his father.

"I know, like Mom said, we will explain when we get home." He said, taking a left at the lights.

Antonio and Laura's House

"Gabby, what are you doing here?" Laura asked, hugging her sister in law.

"I couldn't stay at home," She said, hugging Antonio and both the kids.

"Matt should be home soon," Antonio said, as they walked into the house.

"I told him to meet me here, Shay and Severide got home fine. They will ring me later." Gabby said, sitting down at the kitchen table.

"That's good. Now, we have a few things to talk to you and Diego about," Laura said turning to Eva and Diego.

"Diego, what did you do?" Eva asked, turning to her younger brother.

"I did nothing. What did you do?" Diego retorted, hitting his sister on the arm.

"Hey, hey. No hitting." Antonio said, standing in the middle of both the kids. "Listen to your Mom."

"Yeah thanks Antonio," Laura said, rolling her eyes. Knowing that Antonio wanted her to tell them the news about the new addition to the family and the police detail on them.

"Love you babe," Antonio said, kissing the top her head whilst standing behind her.

"I'm sure you do. Anyway, your father and I wanted to talk to you." Laura started, looking at her husband for him to continue.

"How would you feel about another brother or sister?" He asked, looking them straight in the eye.

"Really?" Eva asked, looking at them both with a smile on her face.

"Really." Laura said, looking towards Diego.

"Really, really?" Diego asked, also with a smile matching his sister's.

"Really." Antonio said, waiting for a reaction from both of them.

"Awesome!" They yelled, running up and hugging both their parents.

"Well that went well. But we have one more thing to tell you. You will still be going to school but there will be a police detail on you at all times." Antonio said, ruffling both kids hair.

"Why?" Eva asked, her smile fading from her face.

"Because there is a bad person out on the streets and we don't want you to get hurt." Gabby said, jumping into the conversation.

"Okay, let me get this straight. You just told us that we are getting another sibling and that we have to have a police detail on us at all times?" Eva said, trying to get the facts straight.

"Pretty much," Laura said, kissing both the kids on the head.

"Okay," they said, before running upstairs to complete their homework.

"Well that went better than I thought it would." Laura said, going into the kitchen to make coffee for everyone except for her.

"Yeah, that's what I was thinking as well." Antonio said, as there was knock on the door.

Hallway

"Who is it?" Antonio called from inside, just to be on the safe side.

"It's Matt." Casey said, as Antonio opened the front door to let him in.

"Sorry about that man. How are you?" Antonio said, pulling him into a bro hug.

"Its cool. Yeah good. Where's Gabs?" he asked, as they walked towards the kitchen where the girls were talking.

"Kitchen. Sorry about pulling you from work so early. I just didn't want Gabby going home alone." Antonio said, as they walked into the kitchen.

"Its fine, Gabs and the rest of the family's safety is more important." Matt said, kissing the top of Gabby's head.

Yes I know its short, yes I know I've taken so long to post a new chapter. I'm very sorry. I have had surgery this week, my grandfather has been in and out of hospital. I will post a new chapter of Te Amo tonight as well :)
