An hour later

"Dinner is ready" Kelly called, as he set out three plates on the kitchen island.

"Thanks Kel, looks great." Leslie said, as they all sat down together.

"Smells great too." Gabby said, leaning back in her stool as they sat together for dinner.

"Thanks," Kelly said, smiling at both girls before taking a bite of his dinner.

Antonio and Laura's house

"Dinner is ready!" Laura said, walking into the family room where the kids and Antonio were playing a board game. "Go wash your hands."

"Yes Mom," Eva and Diego both said at the same time before scampering off towards the downstairs bathroom.

"You okay?" Antonio asked, standing up and walking over to her.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Go wash your hands." Laura said, playfully pushing him towards the bathroom.

"Yes ma'am," He said, kissing her cheek before following the sound of his kids voices.

"When can we see Aunt Gabby?" Eva asked, as they all sat down at the dining room table to eat.

"We will go see her tomorrow," Laura replied, looking over at her husband who didn't say anything.

30 minutes later

"Go upstairs and shower. Then we will finish this board game." Laura said ushering the kids out of the kitchen and towards the stairs to get ready for the night.

"I'm going to go shower," Antonio said, kissing her cheek before walking towards the stairs.

"Are you okay?" Laura asked, leaning against the kitchen counter and looking at him.

"Yeah, I'm fine." He smiled, before turning and leaving the room.

Laura huffed out a breath before turning to her phone and messaging the one person who could talk to him. Matt.

1 hour later

"Diego! You're cheating!" Eva screeched, punching her brother in the arm.

"I am no! And that hurt!" Diego yelled back, pushing her.

"Cut it out, both of you." Laura scolded, turning from her book to look at both children as there was a light knock on the door.

"I'll get it," Antonio said, opening his eyes and standing up before walking out into the hall and opening the door to find Matt on the other side. "What are you doing here?"

"Laura asked me to come talk to you." Matt said, rubbing the back of his head nervously.

"Really?" Antonio asked, to face his wife who was standing in the doorway.

"Yeah, I'm worried about you." She replied, folding her arms and leaning against the doorjamb.

"Well you don't need to worry about me. I'm fine." He hissed, closing the door behind Matt, before walking towards the stairs. "I'm going to bed."

"Antonio," Matt called, watching the older man disappear onto the second floor landing and slam the bedroom door behind him.

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't of called you over here." Laura said, walking further into the house and into the living room where the kids were sitting and waiting anxiously.

"Where's Dad?" Eva asked curiously, leaning back onto the sofa.

"He was tired, so he went to bed." Laura said as she sat down next to her. "And that's where you two are heading right now. I will be up soon to say goodnight."

"Good night Matt!" Both kids said hugging him before making their way upstairs to finish getting ready for bed.

"Are you okay?" Matt asked, watching her lean forward and hold her head in her hands.

"Yeah, I'm good. I'll talk to Antonio. I just hope he will come with me to the appointment tomorrow." Laura said, standing up and locking the windows and closing the curtains to get ready to turn in for the night.

"I will talk to you tomorrow. I'm going to see Gabby." Matt said, as Laura walked him to the door.

"See you then." She replied, as he left. She closed and locked the door behind him before turning off the lights and making her way upstairs to the kids rooms.

Diego's Room

"Night Momma," Diego said sleepily as Laura kissed the top of his head.

"Night baby." She replied, before leaving the room and closing the door behind her.

Antonio and Laura's room

Laura breathed out a puff of air she was holding in as she closed the door behind her and leaned against it. "You still awake?"

"Mm." He mumbled, not bothering to roll over and look at her as she got ready for bed.

"Can we talk?" She asked, sitting on the bed next to him.

"Can we talk in the morning?" He asked, not rolling over.

"No, we need to talk now." She said, looking over him as he rolled over to face her.

"What's up?" He asked, looking back at her.

"You need to talk to someone, I mean it Antonio. You're not fine." Laura said, getting straight to the point as she laid down next to him.

"Laura, I'm fine really. I will talk to someone when I'm ready." He replied, moving to lay on his back.

"Fine, I'll drop it for now. Are you coming to the appointment tomorrow?" Laura asked, wrapping her arms around him and laying her head on his chest.

"Of course, we get to see the little guy for the first time." Antonio said, hugging her close.

"I still think it's a girl." She laughed sleepily as she closed her eyes.

"Whatever you say babe." Antonio said, before they both fell into a peaceful sleep.

Shay and Severide's Apartment

"Is she sleeping?" Kelly asked, as Shay walked down the stairs and into the living room where he was sitting watching the Blackhawks game.

"Yeah, I won't be surprised if she wakes up screaming from nightmares though." Shay said, sitting down next to him and stealing a swig of his beer.

"Hey! Get your own!" Kelly exclaimed, snatching back his beer and leaning back into the sofa.

"I'm right, I'm going to bed. Night Kel." Shay said, kissing his cheek before heading back up the spiral staircase and closing her bedroom door behind her.

Next day-Wednesday-Antonio and Laura's household.

"Shh Diego," Eva hushed, as they crept into their parents room where they were still sleeping peacefully.

"You be quiet." He hushed back, shoving her slightly as they crept up to the bed.

"If your both not quiet, your going to wake your mother." Antonio said, looking at their stunned faces.

"Morning Daddy," They said, climbing onto the bed and hugging their father.

"Morning babies," He replied, kissing their foreheads as they settled next to them.

"I'm not a baby anymore Dad," Eva mumbled, crossing her legs.

"You will always be my baby." He replied, as Laura stirred and opened her eyes.

"Morning Momma," Eva and Diego said, hugging their mother.

"Morning, you two are up early. Excited for school huh?" She asked, throwing her legs over the side of the bed and standing up.

"No!" They quickly exclaimed, jumping off the bed and running out the door.

"That got that moving," Antonio laughed, also getting up.

"Yeah. I'm going to go make breakfast." She said, before leaving the room and going downstairs to where the kids were sitting and talking.

Hiya guys, the next chapter. Will Antonio and Matt make up? Will Antonio open up to Laura about how he is feeling? Will Gabby let Antonio near her?
