"Mom! Dad! Dinner is ready!" Diego yelled as he ran into the living to wake his parents up.
"Diego, whats the rule about yellling in the house?" Laura mumbled, as they sat up and wiped the sleep from their eyes.
"No yelling in the house unless it's an emergency and Daddy isn't home." Diego said, as he followed them into the kitchen where Eva and Gabby had finished setting the table.
"Exactly, now go and wash your hands for dinner." Antonio said, as he sat down at the head of the table and Laura sat next to him.
"Yes Mom," Diego and Eva said, as they walked to the down stairs washroom.
"You didn't have to cook dinner Gabs," Laura said, as Gabby sat down with them after putting the plates in front of them.
"What did you make?" Antonio asked, picking up his fork as they kids came running in and sat down at the table next to Gabs.
"Don't be rude Antonio!" Laura scolded, slapping her husband on the hand and he dropped his fork.
"Sorry, looks great." Antonio said, shooting Laura a glance before looking back at Gabby.
"It's Grandma Dawson's famous chicken mac and cheese." Gabby said, as they all started to eat.
"I remember Grandma used to make this when we were sick or it was a rainy day." Antonio reminisced, as they continued with their family dinner.
"I only remember bits and pieces." Gabby said as there was a 10 year age difference between the siblings.
"Oh you got whatever you wanted. You cried you got a cookie, you blame something on me. I get grounded or in trouble and you get cuddles and cookies. By the time you were two, you had everyone wrapped around your little finger." Antonio laughed, thinking back on when she was a baby/toddler.
"What can I say? I was cute!" Gabby said, defending herself as she laughed with the rest of the family.
"And I know for a fact that she had you wrapped around her little finger when she was born." Laura said, as they had all grown up together.
"She did not!" Antonio exclaimed loudly, eliciting a laugh out of everyone for how fast he defended himself.
"She did babe, she did." Laura said, patting his shoulder as they sat back and talked more after dinner.
"No she didn't." He mumbled, as he collected the plates and cups and took them to the kitchen.
"Just admit it Antonio, you loved me when I was born." Gabby said, as she put hot water in the sink with detergent.
"Not admitting anything. Eva, Diego. Do you need help with any homework?" He asked, changing the subject and walking into the family room.
"Ignore him, how are doing?" Laura asked, as they washed and dried the dishes together.
"I'm alright, I'm still a little scared but I think I will overcome it tomorrow." Gabby said truthfully, all she wanted was to hug Matt and her older brother freely without being scared of them hurting her.
"Take your time, Antonio understands. Matt was here earlier, he wanted to see how you were. Antonio told him you were resting and to come back later." Laura said, as they finished cleaning the kitchen and joining Antonio and the kids in the family room where they were completing their homework together.
"Oh okay, I will talk to him tomorrow sometime." Gabby said, as they sat on the couch with a glass of water each.
"Don't let Antonio bring your relationship down. He is trying to be big brother and protect you," Laura said, as Diego brought in the board game, Monopoly.
"I can hear you," Antonio said, turning to face the girls who just pulled a face at him before continuing there conversation when Gabby's phone rang.
"Who is it?" Laura asked as Gabby pulled her phone out of her pocket.
"Matt, I'll be back." She said, before leaving the room and going into the kitchen, Antonio made to stand up and follow her when Laura grabbed his hand and pulled him onto the couch.
"Leave her alone Antonio, let her talk to him. I thought you liked the guy?" She asked, giving him a look that told him 'stay put or you're sleeping on the couch.'
"I do, just after what happened and the way he rushed at her. She was clearly scared of him. I know she was scared of me as well but she just needs time. He can come round tomorrow and see her." Antonio said, explaining why he wanted to follow her.
"Good boy," Laura praised, kissing him on the cheek.
"Really? That's all I get?" He pouted, looking at her sadly.
"Kids in the room Dad!" Eva and Diego said in sync as Gabby walked back into the room.
"Right," He said, kissing Laura quickly before retreating back to his spot on the floor with the kids playing Monopoly.
"Everything okay?" Laura asked, resuming their last conversation.
"Yeah everything is great, he is stopping by tomorrow." Gabby said, getting comfortable on the couch. "So when are you due?"
"Late June, early July." Laura said, smiling just thinking about her current pregnancy.
"So exciting, how do you feel Antonio?" She asked, looking at her brother.
"As long as she doesn't try and kill me while she is labour, I'm happy." Antonio said, as Laura stared at him before throwing a magazine at the back of his head, hitting him square on. "Ow,"
"Don't complain or you will be sleeping on the couch." Laura grumbled form her spot on the couch as she turned back to talk to Gabby.
"You're in trouble," Eva and Diego mocked, laughing at their father's expense.
"You two will be as well." Antonio said, narrowing his eyes at his son and daughter as Eva rolled the dice.
"Love you Daddy," they said, hugging him before returning to the game before them.
"Love you too." Antonio said, rolling the dice as it was his turn.
Hiya guys, the next chapter. Will Antonio and Gabby open up to each other and to the therapist? Matt's visiting tomorrow after they visit the therapist, will Antonio and Matt be able to make up for Gabby's sake?

Thankyou all so much for the reviews and follows and for reading this story. I'm glad you are all still enjoying it. I know I have not updated for a while I have been really busy with work. I have the next four days off and I am going to spend that time doing a block update of all stories. So keep an eye out. And again, thank you all soo much. Few more chapters til there is a sequel!
