John lay in bed listening to the rhythm of the running shower. It had been 63 days since he and Joss moved in together and it had been 63 days of pure bliss.
Ever since they admitted their feelings for each other his life had new meaning.
Everything had been enhanced since he and Joss started dating 2 years ago. The sun was brighter, the air was fresher, even the moon and stars looked like they were in high definition. Even after 2 years and 63 days she still light up his life like a light tower in the middle of the ocean at night.
He sat up in bed, stretched and swung his legs over the side and stood up. He should go start breakfast he thought as his eyes glanced over to the slightly ajar bathroom door.
A smile spread across his face as he removed his boxers and made his way to the bathroom. Once he was in the bathroom he opened the shower door, stepped inside and kissed Joss on the shoulder and wrapped his arms around her while she giggled.
He closed his eyes as he cherished the sweet sound of her giggles. She turned around in his arms and grabbed his face and kissed him.
He loved her kisses, he never thought he would ever appreciate kissing someone as much as he appreciated kissing her.
He was truly fortunate to have her in his life and he would always cherish the day that they found each other.
