"How you changed my world you'll never know I'm different now, you helped me grow I'm checkin' for ya, boy you're right on time…Angel of Mine"-Monica

Joss sat on the couch in her living room as she looked at her watched 6:55 PM. He still had 5 minutes. John was taking her out to dinner and a opera. It had been 18 months since they let their hearts decide that they were more than just friends.

When she first saw John as a drunk bum she saw something in his eyes that sparked her curiosity. For some reason she wanted to know how a man who served as a ranger in the US Army ended up in his state. She knew all too well how war could change a man. She was driven to find out his story.

Even more so she was driven by the need to know why he didn't have anyone looking out for him or missing him.

It was kind of funny she set out with the goal of helping him to change and grow but somehow he ended up having the same effect on her.

After he continuously saved her life she began to think that God had sent her an angel to watch over her.

No matter how hard she tried she couldn't express in words how much John meant to her. She found something in him that she thought that she would never find. She felt a love so strong that it sometimes made her cry.

A smile spread across her face .She enjoyed every moment she had with him. He fit into her life so perfectly.

Herself, John and Taylor were like a family. She loved how he and Taylor got a long, it was awkward at first they both didn't really know how to act around one another but eventually Taylor gave him the official stamp of approval and her mother even liked him.

A frown marred her face as a thought occurred to her. Lately they all had been acting weird and going out to lunches without her. She had caught Taylor snooping around her room two weeks ago he said he was looking for the spare house key but she didn't believe him.

Her thoughts were interrupted as the door bell rang she looked down at her watch 7:00PM her frown melted into a giddy smile as she got up and opened the door and smiled at John standing on her stoop in a tux.

Her angel was always right on time.
