Later that day

"Are you sure Matt was going to be here?" Gabby asked, as they waited in the waiting room.

"That's what he told me via text." Antonio replied, looking over at his anxious little sister.

"Sorry I'm late," Matt said apologetically as he rushed into the waiting room and greeted the siblings.

"It's fine," Gabby said, sending her brother a glare that said 'be nice'. He shrugged just as Emmalyn walked out of her office and called them in.

Inside

"Matt, can you tell me why have come here today with Antonio and Gabriela?" She asked, looking up from her notebook that sat in her lap.

"It started when Gabby and Antonio went for a walk after they had an arguement, that's when they were taken or kidnapped if you would like to call it that. Anyway, when they were found, I found out that Gabby was beaten by Pulpo and she wouldn't let any men near her. Hell, she threatned Ruzek if he went near her, she would break both his kneecaps." Matt started and Emmalyn looked over at Gabby with a raised eyebrow, she just shrugged and Antonio fought the urge to laugh. "I blamed Antonio, I thought it was his fault. But it wasn't and I know that now. And I'm sorry." He finished, looking over at Antonio with an apologetic look.

"You're forgiven bro," Antonio said, standing up and hugging him quickly.

"I think I'm going to throw up. You know, you two should date. Cute couple right there." Gabby joked as the boys laughed and rolled their eyes at her.

An Hour Later

"I will see you next week, and remember to keep talking to each other. It will help. And Gabby, if you feel the need to hit your brother, don't." Emmalyn laughed as they walked out of her office an hour later.

"I'll try to keep that in mind," Gabby said as they left the building. "Did I leave a bruise?"

"Probably," Antonio muttered, rubbing his arm and shooting her a glare as she got into the passenger seat.

"Cry baby," Gabby said, laughing as they pulled away from the curb with Matt following behind in his truck.

Antonio and Laura's House

"Coffee?" Laura asked as the trio walked into the kitchen after they had gotten back from see Emmalyn.

"Yes please," Gabby said, leaning against the counter and helping Laura make the coffee while the boys sat at the kitchen table.

"How did it go?" She asked, handing them all a cup with the hot liquid while she sat down her tea.

"Good, Matt and Antonio kissed and made up." Gabby said, smirking at the boys as she sat down at the table next to Matt. They just glared at her while Laura laughed.

"How did it go at the doctors baby?" Antonio asked, kissing her cheek and looking at her with concern.

"Fine, just a common cold. Got some medication and it should be gone with the next week or so." She replied, easing his concern and worry for her but only slightly.

"When do you guys get to find out the gender of the baby?" Matt asked, looking at them both.

"Not next week but the week after," Laura said, as they both smiled excitedly for the new bundle of joy that was joining their family.

"As long as the baby is healthy, I don't care about the gender." Antonio smiled as a thoughtful look crossed his face.

"If you need any help with the nursery, just let me know." Matt said as he stood to leave as he had a construction job to start that afternoon.

"Thanks man, we will see you later." Antonio said as they all hugged him before he left.

Later That Night

"Diego! Did you take my necklace again?" Eva yelled. storming out of her room and slamming open her brother's bedroom door.

"I'm using it as a science experiment sis," He replied, turning to face her after dropping the necklace into the aluminium covered bowl.

"No you're not! That's the necklace Mom and Dad got me for my 13th birthday you moron!" She screeched, running further into his room and over to his desk.

"Just hear me out! To get rid of the tarnish you have to soak it in hot baking soda for a few minutes depending on the severity of the tarnish. You see, when silver tarnishes, it combines with sulfur and forms silver sulfide. Silver sulfide is black, silver can be returned to its former luster by removing the silver sulfide." Diego explained, handing her the now clean necklace.

"Thanks, but just don't touch my stuff again. At least not without asking me first." She said, snatching it back and storming out the door and storming down the stairs.

Downstairs

"What was all that about?" Laura asked, as Eva joined them at the kitchen table.

"Diego took my necklace for a science experiment." Eva said, sitting down between her parents as Diego walked into the room.

"Diego..." Laura sighed, looking at her son as he sat down next to Gabby. "And where is my baking soda?"

"Upstairs, but Eva's necklace isn't tarnished anymore. Hence the science experiment." Diego said, smiling to himself as Gabby and Antonio fought to hold back a chuckle.

"You are so much like your father," Gabby commented, looking at her nephew as she took a sip of her coffee.

"Just remember, not matter what your Mom, sister or Aunt Gabriela says, it's a good thing." Antonio said, causing the whole family to laugh.
