John turned the heat on in his apartment as he dried his head and face off. He had been walking back from the grocery store when he ran into Joss. He offered to make her lunch and they were on their way back to his place when a thunderstorm came out of nowhere.

Long story short they had both got caught in the rain and where now soaked from head to toe. As he made his way back into the living room he saw her standing in front of the window looking out of it as she dried her hair off.

He wondered how long he could use the rain as an excuse to keep her from leaving. Ever since Rikers his feeling for her kept growing. He could say out loud that she was just a friend. But even a blind man could see that there was more between them then friendship. If Lionel hadn't been standing in the hallway at the DOD facility he would of kissed her instead of saying thank you.

He slowly made his way over to her and he noticed that the rain had soaked through her dress shirt and he could see the outline of her black bra. As he came to stop behind her he looked out the window and saw the empty street and park. He closed his eyes as he noticed that the rain had activated her lotion and the scent of lavender and soft vanilla ignited his senses. When he opened his eyes again the heat from the apartment was causing the glass to fog over.

He didn't know if it was the soft patter of the rain and the rolling thunder or the calm and relaxing feel of the heat but for some reason he wanted to embrace her and tell her all the things he felt about her. He felt like they were getting closer and he wanted to let her know he wasn't going to back away.

He touched her shoulder and turned her around and made her drop the towel he'd given her. He slowly reached out his hand and caressed her cheek.

He didn't even notice that he backed her into the window until he heard the dull thud.

He gradually unbuttoned her shirt and slid it off her shoulders. While his hands where leveled with hers he interlocked they're fingers and slowly drug her arms up against the glass leaving streaks in the fog as he pressed his chest against hers.

He looked into her eyes, his heart felt like it was beating outside of his chest and he wondered if she could feel it too.

He was latching onto her body and soul and now that he knew what he found in her he didn't want to let go.
