Chapter 32: Poison
"Let me take a look at that wound." The doctor said as he took a sample of the poison.
"To stop it from spreading quickly I'll put a tourniquet around you leg, above it." The doctor continued.
"Okay, thank you." Kurt said as the doctor did the tourniquet.
"What ever you do, don't fall asleep." The doctor said now recognizing the kind of poison it was.
"Just make sure that my baby is okay." Kurt said.
As Kurt zoned out a bit, the doctor motioned for his assistant to come closer.
"Clean out the wound and make sure nothing else touches it." The doctor said and then ran down the hallway in search for Catherine.
"Your Majesty. Kurt is in the infirmary, we need you there." The doctor said as the door opened.
They ran down the hallways and Catherine immediately rushed to Kurt who had started to develop a fever.
"Kurt, look at me baby." Catherine said as she slapped his cheek.
"Catherine, where's the doctor?" Kurt asked blinking quickly as if he had trouble keeping his eyes open.
"He's right here, Kurt, just hold on he's going to fix you." Catherine said.
"I don't care about me, just save my little boy." Kurt whispered as Catherine saw his breath slow down.
"Doctor!" Catherine yelled and the doctor rushed closer and immediately felt Kurt's pulse.
"Edith get the IV and the breathing help." The doctor yelled as he felt Kurt's pulse drop drastically.
The assistant ran to all the different cabinets grabbing the different objects.
"Hurry up, Your Majesty you'll have to move back." The doctor said to Catherine.
"Just hurry up." Catherine said getting tears in her eyes.
Once Edith handed the supplies to him and then got out of the way.
Then Kurt's eyes slipped closed and the doctor quickly attached the IV and the breathing help.
He then started tapping Kurt's cheek but Kurt didn't respond to anything.
"This is what I feared." The doctor said and Catherine looked confused.
"Kurt was poisoned with a quick acting effect I have seen this before. Thankfully I know the antidote, otherwise this could kill him." The doctor said.
"I'll write a letter to Blaine." Catherine said as she left the office.
"Your Majesty?" She heard a person say.
"Yes." She said seeing the boys that helped them with the assassin.
"We heard yelling, is everything okay?" Dean asked.
"Kurt has fallen into a coma, he was poisoned." Catherine said as she walked on.
"Your Majesty, are you okay?" Cas asked as he saw the tears in her eyes and instead of saying anything she fell down and Cas caught her when she started crying.
"I need to let Blaine know." Catherine said through the sobs.
"Just tell us what has to be in the letter we'll write it." Cas said as Dean picked her up and carried her to her room.
Cas took a sheet of paper as Dean laid her on her bed.
"So Catherine tell me what has to be in this letter?" Cas asked.
"Start with..." Catherine started.
"Dear Blaine,
I regret to inform you that Kurt has fallen ill,
he was poisoned during an assassin attack.
He fell into a coma, the doctor thinks he can heal him,
but I am not sure how long he can last,
I would advise you to speed back.
Always in my thoughts,
Catherine."
"I'll take it to the courier." Dean said and then ran out the door towards the courier in town.
Once there he told him to the battlefield and that it should be delivered as quickly as possible.
