Hello everyone thank you for reviewing!
So let me explain why updates have been so slow: my life is not easy I don't just sit behind the computer all day and write. I have an anxiety disorder that's gotten way out of hand, and a torn ligament in my foot, that has to be operated on in July. I have a lot of personal problems, and I focus on those more than writing this story. I try to write as much as I can, I really do but getting the courage together to do so, with how screwed up my own life is, is not easy. So please stop sending me all these reviews calling me a bitch for not uploading, or telling me how long it's been, trust me I know how long it's been. And I hate myself for letting you guys hang like this. So after my rant I hope you enjoy and please review.
R&R Please!
Chapter 37: Birth
"Come on Kurt, just a little further." Blaine said as Kurt bent over in pain once again.
"I'm trying." Kurt said as the contraction passed and Kurt leaned on Blaine.
"Ohhhh." Kurt yelled as another contraction wracked through his body as Blaine opened the door to their room.
"Sit down." Blaine said helping his husband down.
"How is he?" Catherine said as she and the doctor ran in just as a heavy contraction ran through Kurt's body making him scream out.
"Obviously not so well." Catherine answered her own question.
"Kurt we'll need to take your pants off." The doctor said when Kurt's contraction passed and he nodded.
"Blaine could you give me a hand?" Kurt said while Blaine rushed to take Kurt's pants off when suddenly the bed beneath Kurt turned wet.
"His water just broke." The doctor said.
"Let me take a look." He continued as Blaine moved out of the way.
"Just a little bit longer." The doctor said seeing Kurt had dilated quite a bit.
"AAAAHHH!" Kurt yelled almost crushing Blaine's hand.
"I can't take this anymore!" Kurt yelled throwing his head back.
"You can't push yet, Kurt." The doctor said.
"The baby isn't ready." He continued.
"Blaine, please help me." Kurt pleaded to his husband as the pain became unlike anything he'd ever felt.
"I'm here for you Kurt, I'll always be there." Blaine said hugging Kurt's upper body as his lower was already being put into position to push.
"I'll be right back, don't go anywhere." Blaine said jokingly to Kurt who let out a breathy laugh as another contraction racked his body.
"Is there anything you can give him for the pain." Blaine whispered to the doctor.
"Not anything that wouldn't hurt the progress." The doctor said as Blaine nodded and returned to Kurt's side taking his hand again.
When midnight came around Kurt's contractions where only 2 minutes apart and the doctor checked the dilation again and said:
"I hope you two are ready, this baby is ready to meet it's parents."
Which made Kurt sigh in relief as Blaine wiped Kurt's forehead yet again.
"Ok Kurt. Push." The doctor said and so Kurt pushed screaming and almost crushing Blaine's hand in the process.
"And relax." The doctor said.
"Push." Kurt again screamed and pushed as long as he could.
"You're doing so good, darling." Catherine said.
"Just a little longer and you'll have your baby in your arms." She continued as Kurt pushed again.
"Come on Kurt, just one big push." The doctor said seeing the baby crowing.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Kurt yelled as he felt the baby's head left his body.
"One more, baby." Blaine whispered and Kurt nodded.
And after 9 hours of labor Kurt and Blaine finally heard their baby cry.
"Congratulations, it's boy." The doctor said as Blaine cut the umbilical cord, and then handed the baby to Kurt.
"Hi little fella." Kurt said as the baby grabbed his hand.
"What's his name?" Catherine asked.
"Toronto Erza Anderson-Hummel." Kurt said while looking at Blaine.
"Well we'll leave you three alone." Catherine said as she and the doctor left Blaine and Kurt amazed over their little miracle.
"He's beautiful." Blaine said.
"He has your hair." Kurt said seeing the curls on little Toronto's head.
"And your beautiful eyes." Blaine said as the little boy looked at him.
"He's falling asleep." Kurt said still amazed that he and Blaine had brought this tiny human being into the world.
"We should get some sleep." Blaine said as he took Toronto out of Kurt's arm who still reached for the little boy.
"You know what pajamas to put him in." Kurt said concerned.
"Yes, mother Hen I do." Blaine said and then put Toronto in his pajamas and in the crib that was installed at the end of their bed.
And they slept peacefully not knowing that in about 3 hours their little miracle would wake them.
