Hey just a short poem I wrote inspired by dark souls and a few other games my girlfriend wanted a poem one day so i wrote this and thought id share it. it may not be very good so leave a review on how i can improve. thanks

Demons

We all have our demons

Although some more than others

You have your troubles

And in my head I once again hear the ghosts of what once was start to mutter

You say that you are strong and so do I

But I know deep down inside

That one day we will both break

But we will be saved by each other

With the darkness on my side as I fight

I will guide you towards the light

In hopes that one day soon enough

I'll be brought out of the abyss in my mind

But for now ill suffer in darkness

As I try to kill your demons that haunt you

As mine have already taken over my mind and soul

But one thing keeps them from killing me

And I think it is the same for you as it is for me

By the light of your voice in this so called life of mine

I hope you will never leave my side

But when the day is done and the fight is over

I'll tell you to go and to never look back over your shoulder

As that will be my last day on this cruel earth

Ill fall down the rabbit hole and madness will take over
