Chapter 6; Fears and Fights part 4: Henry's Turn To Shine. Return Of The Masked Rider
Hi Everyone! moonrose221 here. Welcoming everyone to Chapter 6 of Power Rangers Digital. Which is being called Digital Charge in the theme. You guessed it the Dino Charge theme is the one being used. So far only 1 person has correctly guessed Cyan Tenshino's mom. I'll give everyone a hint. Karone's predesessor Kendrix saved Mrs. Tenshino's life by sacrificing her own. So with out further ado here is the intro.

In a world full Strife
Henry, Jun, Justin, and Izzy are seen at various computers or moniters.
We must fight to survive
Takato is seen practicing some martial arts katas with Guilmon. Takato's Ranger Form on a split screen.
Try to break the chains that divide
Davis is seen playing soccer with Veemon. Davis' Ranger Form is shown on a split screen.
There is only one chance
Rika is running down a street with Renamon behind her. Rika's Ranger form shown on a plit screen.

Power Rangers Digital Charge
It was early morning in Odaiba. Henry had barely slept. He decided to go for a run to try and clear his head. "What in the world was that dream about? That creature sort of looked like Gargomon." Shaking his head he goes back to the house. Once he has a shower and is dressed he heads down to the kitchen where Justin is making a pot of coffee. "Hey Henry. You don't look so good. You okay?" Henry shakes his head. "Not really Justin. I had a really wierd dream and I wasn't able to go back to sleep this morning." Henry says as he makes himself a cup of coffee. While he drinks it Jun walks in with Davis. "Hey Henry." Davis says. "Morning Davis." Henry half replies half yawns.
Jun looks over at her protege. "Are you alright Henry? I can call Dana if you need me to." Henry smiles, "Thanks Jun, but I didn't get a lot of sleep last night." Jun gave him a look that pointedly tells him 'lab now.' Complying with his seniors nonverbal request he heads down to the lab. Once Davis heads to school with a note Jun wrote excusing Henry from school for the day and Justin went to work Jun walks down to the lab. "Okay kiddo spill it. What's really going on?" Henry sighs. He should have guessed Jun would have seen through his uncertianty. It had to be a sixth ranger thing. "I had this weird dream and I..I felt like I had been drained of power or something when I woke up from it." Jun nods then ushered him into the section of the lab she usually had on lockdown.
"Jun where in the world did you get all this?!" Henry asked rather shocked. Jun shrugged. "An ally of the Rangers hooked me up with this tech. The Masked Rider. Now I want you to lay down on the metal table." Henry complied with Jun's order. She placed what looked like an electrode on his temple. There was one of those syringe guns like you see in the Divergent movie. "There's gonna be a slight pin prick. Just stay still." Jun says. Henry does feel the prick from the needle. However he feels dizzy and falls asleep. Jun clicks a remote to a screen as she watches the same dream he had the night before unfold.
Dream sequence:
Henry's walking through what looks to be a dense forest. He hears a manical laugh as he whips around. A black and grey blur knocks him down. It happens in rapid succession. A dark grey aura appears around him as the creature drains it away. Visibly feeling it in the waking world.
End dream
Jun removes the electrode as Henry wakes up he feels almost as bad as when he went into the lab if not slightly worse. Jun walks over to a work bench and picks up a scanner. "Lay back down for a minute Henry. I need to check something out. If my hunch is correct about this and Azulongmon forbid if I am..." Jun trails off as she scans Henry. Once the scan was done Henry got off the table while Jun plugs the scanner to the computer on the work bench. Her eyes widen as the result matches her own theory. "Shit!" Jun swore as she looks at the data asks, "Jun what's up?" Jun turns her swivel chair around and faces the younger ranger. She says, "According to the scans. Whatever it was that attacked you and drained your energy in the dream. Somehow is able to drain your energy while your asleep here in the waking world." Plopping down on a couch Henry groans, "This is just peachy. How the hell do we beat this thing?"
Jun had a thought cross her mind. She knew that anyone with a digivice, ranger powers, or in Dex's case his Masked Rider powers could go into the digital world. Maybe the creature was using Henry's D-Arc to tap into his dreams. "Henry you got your D-Arc on ya?" "Yes why?" "Place it on the scanner that's connected to the computer." Henry gives her a confused look but does as asked. Jun looks over the data and again she's right. "From what I can gather the creature is in the Digital World. Since it's using your connection to it in order to mess with your dreams." Henry was wide eyed in shock. "How the hell did you figure that out?" Jun looks at him with a grin on her face. "Did you honestly think Izzy was the one running all the different bio tests? We have a very big problem though. Some of your brain waves matched the electro magnetic waves of your D-Arc when that thing showed up."
Henry nodded in understanding. He still had one question though. "Why do you keep this section of the lab on lockdown and a secret? Do Izzy and Justin even know about this?" Jun chuckled. "The reason this is usually locked down is there hasn't ever been need for it. No, Izzy and Justin don't know about this. Only the two of us knows it even exists. The reason being is that I store some important things in here." "Like what?" Jun sighs. "A set of back up morphers. In the event I'm ordered to bring in a whole new team should another threat show up. I made sure that I was ready. Along with more advanced gear for our Rangers. I have my back up plans just in case. I also want you to know on the computer in the main area we work in, there is a locked file. The password for it is legacy. Should someone capture me, Izzy, or Justin I want you to show that file to the Rangers. Can you do that for me?" "Of course Jun. When the time comes for the next team I'll help as much as I can."
Later that afternoon, a man in a dark green shirt, Blue jeans, black jacket, a silver belt with a silver and red device on it, and black combat boots walks into the lab. Izzy and Justin demanding "Who are you?" Jun comes out of the zord bay from working on the Digi-zords. Pulling off the goggles she wore to keep the bio fluid out of her eyes says, "Hey Dex. Glad you could make it. We need to talk. Come with me." Justin and Izzy both shrug it off. Jun was very well versed in the Ranger community. Justin didn't know any of the pre-turbo allies or any of the post-space allies so he figured Jun did know the guy, so he was cool. Izzy brushed it off deciding Jun knew what was going on.
Once in the zord bay Dex asked, "What's wrong? Did any of the eqiupment I gave you blow?" Shaking her head Jun replies, "It didn't but I do need your help." She quickly explained the situation. Dex nods saying, "Well it does go without saying, but I will help."
A loud blaring is heard throughout the base. Dex and Jun run into the main area. "What the fuck is going on?!" Izzy knew that Jun rarely swore. He quickly finds the problem. "Looks like Henry's in a forest getting hammered by a black and grey blur." Jun has this take charge air to her. "Izzy where's the nearest port?" Izzy says " It's twenty feet from Henry." Jun moves Izzy away from the moniter setting things up for a ranger ally to enter the digital world. "Digi-port open! Dex go through and bring our warrior home safe." Nodding Dex said,"I will. I swear on my honor." As he went through the portal Jun said quietly so only she heard, "May the power protect you Masked Rider."
In the Digital World Henry had finally seen what the blur was. It was a creature that looked like Gargomon. "Who the hell are you?" Henry yelled. The creature laughed. "I'm ThrashGargomon human. This time we're in the waking world. My attack will kill you." As ThrashGargomon prepared to fire a male voice yelled, "Leave him alone." Dex had arrived and forced the evil digimon down. ThrashGargomon demanded, "Who in the name of Master Vile are you?" Dex grinned, "I am Dex. Prince of Planet Edenoi. I am the Masked Rider." Giving Henry a hand up Dex and Henry stood side by side. "You ready for this Henry?" Dex asks. Henry grins, "I was born ready Dex."

Morphing sequence
Henry ran at sonic speed. The spirit of Titanus ran towards him equally as hard. In a flash of light the two merged. Creating a dark silver Ranger suit with black markings. A dark silver helmet with the markings of Titanus' head formed completing the morph.
Dex's body is surrounded by dark green armor in a powerful whirlwind. The armor snaps into place as the view moves upwards from his feet. When the top is shown a grasshopper like helmet snaps into place.

There's a light in the distance
Henry and Dex both charge ThrashGargomon.
See them coming closer
Dex uses his Rider kick to knock down ThrashGargomon.

Henry nails ThrashGargomon with an impressive spin kick.
Protectors of the right
Henry uses his Thunder Saber while Dex makes use of Henry's Dino Blaster.
Defenders sworn to fight
Dex calls on his electro saber while Henry uses his Titan Katana.

Henry charges as he lands a nasty hit on ThrashGargomon.

Dex charges his electro saber and lands a very effective blow.

The two lock hands. As Dark green and Dark grey energy glows around them.

The two walk around the digital world for a while. Dex taking in all of the sights. Learning about the world Henry and the rest of the new Rangers are charged with protecting. Upon arriving in Primary Village Henry spies Elecmon. The resident care taker. "Ah Henry hello. It's a pleasure to see you again. You arrived at the perfect time. The egg you asked about has finally been found. Please, you and your friend follow me." Smiling Henry and Dex do so. "I can't thank you enough Elecmon. I just know Jeri will be very thrilled to have her partner back." "I'm glad as well. Jeri must have felt so bad when Leomon didn't come back two years ago. At least this way she has the chance to be the Tamer she should have been." Elecmon hands Henry a white egg with yellow-orange stripes. Dex seems fixated on a blue egg with purple polka dots.
As Dex steps forward and touches the egg it hatches in a puff of pink smoke. Coughing Dex asks, "Is that supposed to happen?" Henry replies while also coughing, "It's a natural part of the hatching." A small blob quickly digivolves into a creature that sort of looks like a wolf. "I'm Strabimon. I have been waiting for you Dex for a very long time. I'm glad you made it here partner." As Strabimon said that a device that had a dark green body and silver grips materalized in front of Dex. Smiling he takes it in his hand. "It is a real pleasure to meet you as well, Strabimon. I'm glad to be here as well partner. Henry if you ever need my help. You know how to reach me." Grinning the two head home. Strabimon headed out with Dex after they arrived back in the lab. Henry held the egg in his arms.
After a full medical evaluation from Dana Mitchell, Henry along with Terriermon walks to the train station and heads to Shinjuku. He wanders around with Terriermon and the egg looking for Jeri. He spies her watching Calumon play with a Lunamon in the pond. "Jeri!" The Tamer in question looks up. "Oh hi Henry. Hi Terriermon. What's with the digi-egg?" Before he could answer a beeping sound comes from Jeri's lion purse. She pulls out her yellow and white D-Arc. Tears streaming down her cheeks she sees the compass is pointing at the egg. "Henry is that digi-egg really..?" Smiling Henry replies, "It's Leomon's egg Jeri. An Elecmon I talk to in Primary Village and sometimes help out was keeping an eye out for it. He found me while I was with a friend of Jun's. He met his own partner today." Jeri took the egg as it hatched. Again in a puff of pink smoke. The baby digimon digivolved into a lion cub. Jeri asked, "Leomon is that you?" The cub smiled, "Leormon right now Jeri. I've missed you my Lion Hearted Tamer."
To celebrate Henry took Jeri to a concert. The band was The Rebel Rockers. The band was playing some wicked awesome songs. The last song of the show was Every Day Fun.

After the concert Henry, Jeri, Leormon, and Terriermon went for ice cream. Henry getting strawberry, Terriermon green tea, Jeri red bean, and Leormon getting penut butter. The four hung out for a couple of hours before Jeri saw Calumon saying he wanted to go home. Smiling Jeri said goodbye to Henry as he walked down the street. He accidentally bumped into a man in a black shirt, blue jeans, and black shoes. "Oh sorry about that." Henry apologized. The man shrugged it off, "It was my fault, I wasn't paying attention. I'm Mike Corbett by the way. You must be one of Jun's charges. Aren't you?"
Henry grinned, this guy waas one of them. "Yes sir. I'm Henry Wong. It's a pleasure to meet you." With that the two seperated. Henry decided to visit his family for a while. Walking to the apartment he sees a few kids with digimon. Smiling still he heads up to see his family. Suzie tackles him in happiness. His dad says, "Henry hello. You haven't been to visit for a while is everything okay?" Henry swore his dad could read him like a book. He told the truth mostly. "I've been helping Jun with a project lately. And I had one of those 'episodes' as Jun put it this morning so I was getting checked over or else I would have come down sooner." His family accepted his answer as he spent quality time he had been missing with them. It was due to his work with the Rangers.
It was pretty late when Henry came back to the Motomiya/Stewart residence. Justin saw Henry when he walked in. "Hi your home late. What kept ya?" "I went to take Jeri the egg. I went to the Rebel Rockers concert. Then I decided to visit my family for a while. Izzy head home?" Justin nods saying, "Yes. Jun is in the lab. Said to send you down once you came home." Terriermon lazily flew to Henry's room having had dinner at the Wong's place. Henry walks down to the lab. He looks in the areas the others' know about.
When she isn't there he heads to the section only the two of them know about. "Hey." "Hi. How are you feeling?" Jun asks as she feels his forhead. He laughed. Jun was acting all mother hen again. "Much better. I also spent some time with my family this afternoon." Jun smiled warmly. "I'm glad. Come on dude. You know the drill by now." Henry climbs up on the metal table and laid down so Jun could get some scans to chart the flow of Dino Energy. She's hoping it'll stablize soon. Like hers did. Once the scans are done he heads over to look at the data. "So what's the verdict?"
Jun smiles, "It's starting to stablize. Whatever ThrashGargomon was doing moved the process along faster. So I guess that some good came out of it." Nodding Henry replied, "Guess so. What's the status for the Digi-zords?" Sighing Jun said, "There's a key component but for the life of me I can't seem to pinpoint it. The zords can't be completed without it either."
After Henry and Jun shut down all the equipment the tired duo headed upstairs to bed. Climbing into his bed Henry after two weeks was finally getting a good nights sleep.
