Chapter 8; Fears and Fights True Blue's Hidden Fear. Black Frog To The Rescue
Hi everyone moonrose221 here. This the last part of the Fears and Fights arc. The next part is a three part story arc that features the introduction of two new rangers. The Shadow Digital Ranger and The Phantom Ranger. The Shadow Digital Ranger is Geo Matarashi. He belongs to Keeper of Worlds. The Phantom Ranger is Cyan Tenshino. She belongs to me. I'm now including one piece of Power Rangers trivia per chapter. In the 1970 the japanese company that created Super Sentai the show Power Rangers were based was inspired by Spiderman. With that interesting fact now in it's place. On with the intro.
Last time on Power Rangers Digital:
Kari was facing some problems of what she wanted as an individual.
Laylamon messed with our pink rangers mind but and old friend Wizardmon came to aid with a former villian turned hero. "Call me Astronema."

Kari is now in Karone's care as her daughter.

Davis trudges down the hall of Odaiba Junior High looking tired. Henry notices the slightly weary blue ranger. "Hey Davis, you okay?" Davis replies, "I'm alright. It's just I couldn't help but think about a few things recently." Kari walks up and says, "Morning guys. What's wrong with you Davis?" Davis says a tad harshly, "It's nothing Kari I just need to be left alone." The Titan Ranger and Pink Ranger looked concerned as their friend left. Worry plainly seen on their faces.
Up on the roof of Odaiba Junior High Davis stood at the fence. "I wonder. What would happen if It was Jun who died that summer instead of Sam. Would Ken have the Crests of Courage, Friendship, and Miracles? Would Sam have developed our Ranger gear? Would Ken be the Blue Ranger instead of me? Would I have been the Digimon Emperor instead of Ken?" The last thought scared the blue ranger to the very core of his being.
He shivered at the thought of being the Digimon Emperor instead of Ken. What would that mean? The two worlds would have been destroyed because of him. Ken probably wouldn't have been the one who would have used the golden digi-egg. But that brought a whole different question to mind. Would Veemon be partnered to Ken instead? He couldn't bear the thought of not having his closest friend and brother around him. He loved Wormmon but Veemon was there for him through it all. "Just like Jun." He thought. "I just can't do it." He admits. He can't admit he's scared to think of what would happen if his and Ken's situations were reversed.
Geo Matarashi had no idea what happened. One second he was walking to school, the next he and Dorumon were in the Digital World, "Dorumon what's going on here?" The digimon replies, "I'm not sure Geo. But we were brought here for a reason." Geo and Dorumon find a temple dedicated to the moon. Walking inside they see a statue of a digimon. "Who's the digimon the statue is of Dorumon?" Geo asks. Dorumon replies, "Beelzemon Blast Mode. Beelzemon is a mega level demon lord digimon. The demon lord of gluttony to be precise." A purple imp was walking out from behind the statue. "If ya want to know ya were brought here. Yer gonna haf' ta fight wit me." The imp says.

His bada boom and summon attacks will leave you dazed before he back stabs you. Impmon is the rookie form of Beelzemon.
Dorumon looks ready to fight however Geo steps up. "What would fighting you prove? That we could have been someone who wanted power and would kill to get it. True power comes from the inner strength of the heart. Not the phsyical strength of ones own muscles." Impmon grins. This kid was the right one. "Follow me Geo, Dorumon." Impmon leads the confused boy and his partner to a room that looked like a meeting hall. On a throne sat a Lucemon. The very same one who had been watching Laylamon a few weeks prior.
Lucemon looks at Geo and smiles warmly, "Welcome Geo Matarashi and Dorumon. This is the temple of the Lunar Alliance. Impmon and I are the last two remaining members. We were met by a wizard named Zordon from the planet of Eltar quite a few decades ago. You see Zordon knew what his fate was for a very long time. His sacrifice during Countdown was felt by both myself and Impmon. He also forsaw the creation of the Digital Rangers. So with Impmon and my help he created a morpher for the Shadow Digital Ranger. Over the years, many have attempted to claim the morpher and it's power. Akihiro Kurata attempted to steal it. When he couldn't gain the morpher he started to develop his Bio-hybrids to destroy the temple and bring him the morpher. We thank Marcus Damon everyday for defeating them. I have been watching you for quite some time Geo. Impmon has as well. You are the one who is meant for this morpher." Lucemon hands him a device that looks similar to the Digital Rangers morpher only without the card slot. Instead this one has a slot where a card is locked in place. He straps the device on his wrist. "Thank you Lucemon. Impmon I won't let you down."
Back on Earth Davis starts feeling kind of dizzy. "Mr. Fujiyama, may I go to the nurse's office please?" Mr. Fujiyama sees how dizzy he looks, "Of course Davis. Mr. Matsuki please walk with him. He looks like he's going to fall over." Takato nods and walks with Davis to the nurse. Once he's situated Takato heads back to class. At the end of the day Davis walking home fairly distracted. He doesn't feel the impending darkness or the worry of his team when they see him dissappear in front of them.
Davis comes to and finds he's in the Digital World. Not all that far from where Ken's base was. He walked forward only to see that last thing he ever wanted to see. An evil version of himself. As the Digimon Emperor.
On Earth the Digital Rangers were freaking out all hysterical with worry. Jun slips out and sends a message to a certian ninja. The preverbial Frog Prince of the original rangers.
Adam Park is walking through Odaiba having completed a successful mission with the Megaforce Rangers. As he is about to turn the corner his RDG, Ranger Data Gauntlet goes off. Flipping it open he sees a message from SilverRaptor.
BlackFrog,
SOS! DigitalBlue is in danger. Portal open for ten minutes at Cyberspace. Computer in DinoTech's office.
SilverRaptor.
Adam rushes to Hayley's Cyberspace and quickly explains. "Hurry and save the D.B.R." Adam enter's the portal. Landing in the same spot as Davis, he knocks down the evil copy of Davis. "Who the hell are you?" Adam smirks, "Adam Park. A friend and ally of the Blue Ranger." The evil copy of Davis mutates into a nasty looking digimon. "I am Duskmon. The Warrior of Tainted Darkness." Davis stood defience burning in his brown eyes. "You were the one who has been messing with my dreams. You've been feeding me lies. Jun would never have given me my powers if she didn't believe I was right for this."
Adam says calmly, "You ready for this Davis?" The blue ranger grins, "Born ready Adam." "Well then. Only one thing left to even say. IT'S MORPHIN TIME!"
"Digital Force! Go, go Digital!"
"Black Ranger Power!"
Morphing sepquence:
When Davis slashed the blue card through his digimorpher he was enveloped in sapphire blue data. He did a break dance flip when a blue armor suit materialized on him. The blue card dissolved into data becoming his helmet.
Adam jumped down in a very Naruto-esque manner as a black suit materialized. Utilizing his frog spirit Adam's helmet materialized and snapped into place.

"With the Thunder of Raidramon...Blue Digital Ranger!"

Davis draws his Raidra-axe. Adam draws his Power Axe.

Davis hits Duskmon with his axe while Adam sets him up with a roundhousee kick.

Adam and Davis both hit Duskmon with simultaneous kicks.
Watch five fingers reachin' for the sky in five ways
Adam slashes Duskmon with his axe.
Five heoes walkin' through the sun for five days
Davis hits Duskmon with a flurry of punches and kicks.
Dark forces lurkin' leavin' evil where they roam
Adam makes use of his blade blaster and converts his Axe to blaster mode.
Five Rangers lookin' for the same five stones
Adam starts glowing black and Davis start glowing blue.
Go go go go There's treasure to found there's some lives to be saved
Davis uses super speed and nails Duskmon with several hits from his axe.
Our planet to look after there's a whole lot of space
Adam's black glow and Davis' blue glow transfers to their axes.
Good vs. evil we got heroes on the scene
The black ninja ranger and blue digital ranger charge Duskmon.
Power Rangers Overdrive is the number one team
In an explosion of blue and black energy Duskmon explodes into data particles.
Pow-er Ran-gers Operation Overdrive Pow-er Ran-gers Operation O-verdrive
Davis and Adam demorph and fist bump.

Adam and Davis walk around the digital world when they come across a boy who looked like he was fourteen. He was 5 foot 4. He had shoulder length midnight black hair twin bangs, and hazel eyes. He wore a red shirt, a black leather biker jacket, dark jeans, and black tennis shoes. Standing with him was a Dorumon. "Hey who are you?" Davis asks. The boy looks up. "Oh I'm Geo Matarashi. This is my partner Dorumon." Davis smiles, "I'm Davis Motomiya. My partner is Veemon but he isn't here. This is Adam Park." Adam waves in greeting. Geo takes his leave having witnessed the battle the two had with Duskmon. Adam and Davis return to the real world.
Davis once he and Adam split up decides to wander around for a while. He accidentally bumps into a woman who looked like Kari's friend Vida. Only she was wearing his color. She's walking with a man in a darker blue and a woman in light blue. "Sorry if I ran into you. My names Davis. What are your names?" The Blonde woman speaks first. "I'm Tori Hanson." Then the asian woman. "I'm Madison Rocca. I'm Vida's sister." The man who Davis thinks is familiar goes last. "I'm Blake Bradley." Blake, Tori, and Madison are deep in conversation with Davis about different books and how they were all using different kinds of intellegence to help their friends.
Davis walks home with a few books and a couple of DVD's. The DVD's are Soul Eater: The Complete Series. and Neon Genesis Evangellion. The books are The Martial Arts Disiplines, Basic and Advaced First Aid, and Beginner's Guide To Computer Programming. Davis decides to take his education seriously. Since he no longer had his parents breathing down his neck and three geniuses helping him with his homework in a way that makes sense to him he might as well live up to his status as a blue.

The Rangers all are forcibly demorphed as ChaosLeomon prepares to throw the finishing blow.
"Who the hell are you?'
The Rangers look to see a male in a black armored suit.
"With the ferocity of Beelzemon...Shadow Digital Ranger."
At the command center Izzy, Justin, and Henry all look at Jun. "I'm not the one who developed that morpher. So don't look at me on who it is."
