"I wanna love, I want a fire, to feel the burn my desires. I wanna man by my side, not a boy who runs and hides. Are you gonna fight for me? Die for me? Live and breathe for me? Do you care for me?'Cause if you don't, then just leave"-Kelly Clarkson

She stood in shock with her mouth open, did he really just question whether or not she truly loved him.

Joss reared her hand back and punched him in the face and pivoted on her foot and marched out of the room, ignoring Harold and Shaw's shocked faces. She didn't know what shocked them more John's insensitive questioning of her feelings or the fist she just landed in his face.

She wasn't doing this game anymore with him, for two years, she spent her time catering to his fragile mind and walking a high wire of emotions for him.

She would wait patiently like a lonely loyal dog for him to lick his invisible wounds just to have to go running after him every time he questioned them being together.

After two years of playing his game she was done; she was done patiently waiting for him, she was done running after him after every little incident or every bout of doubt he had and she was done repeatedly trying to explain to him that she loved him no matter what just for him to push her away and ignore her and act like her efforts didn't matter.

If he wanted her, truly wanted to be with her as more than just friends then he would have to come after her this time. She was tired of him running and hiding like a little boy, she wanted her man to fight for her, himself and for them just as hard as she had been.

She was only one person and despite how well put together she seemed on the outside she was tired of pretending like her problems didn't matter compared to Johns.

Joss wiped the tears from her eyes as the cold chill of early winter blew across her face as she walked out of Harold's Safe House.

If he loved her he would come after her, if he truly wanted something more then he would come after her, if he truly needed her as much as she needed him he would come after her.
