Lightning light up the darkened sky as screams echoed throughout the woods.
Alpha ran as fast as he could push himself to go, his mane blowing in the wind.
"AHH!" Alpha perked his ears up, hearing the scream, and turned around to see Abigail, a pool of red crimson liquid spilling out from her sides.
Her body shook as she sobbed violently, her sides shredded open as Gamma towered over her.
The golden lion was covered in her blood, his eyes a fierce pure black. Not even his usual white pupils light up his eyes.
Growling as tears filled his eyes, Alpha ran over to her, snarling and hissing at the others to back off.
Taking a step back, Gamma stared at Alpha curiously, and turned and glanced at the others.
Twitching madly, Harry, the mangled three headed endoskeleton creature stared at Alpha, a sick grin twisted onto his face.
Perking her ears up, Delta glanced over in the direction of the hideout. "A-Alpha's in trouble..." She said, gaining the other's attention.
"I'M ALPHA!" Alpha roared, one of his eyes turning black.
Ignoring the lion's rage, the others quickly ran off towards the hideout, leaving Alpha and Abigail behind.
Forgetting about his pack completely, Alpha spun around and dropped to his knees beside Abigail, his orange fur soaking up pools of blood that lay around her.
"A-A-Abigail..." He whined, gently stroking her face. His red eyes locked with her green ones as she flashed a weak smile.
"H-H-Hey... A-Alpha..." She smiled, coughing hard as he pulled her gently to his chest.
"I'm sorry I wasn't fast enough..." He sobbed gently, his tears turning to blood, which confused him.
"It's not your fault..." Abigail replied in a hushed, soft voice. "I shouldn't have come back..." She admitted, staring into his eyes as her breathing became raspy.
"NO... You're not going to die... I-I'M NOT GOING TO LET YOU DIE..." Alpha growled, gently picking her up in his arms.
Looking more carefully at her wounds, Alpha's eyes widened in shock and horror as he held the small girl close to his chest.
Her pink shirt was shredding from top to bottom, claw marks ran down her skin. Blood covered almost every part of her body, and she had deep, rough bites along her arms and legs.
"I swear to God that if you die..." Alpha growled, his eyes turning black as tears of blood ran down his face. "I'll make sure they die too..."
And with that, the lion took off, carrying Abigail in his arms as he sprinted away from the hideout. He didn't know where he was headed, but wherever it was, he needed to find Abigail help. And he needed to find it now.
Lying on the ground, Will twitched as oil and blood pooled around him.
Hovering over him, Fritz laughed and shook his head, clutching the axe tightly his hand.
Blood and oil were splattered all over his face, the substances mixing and running down his neck.
In one hand, Fritz held the axe. In another, he held a device with several small buttons on it.
Will groaned in pain as he looked up at Fritz, his eye sight starting to go hazy.
"They're coming..." He grinned, a look of pure hate now locked onto the wolf's face as he lay dying.
"Oh, I know they are..." Fritz chuckled, gripping the device in his hands tighter. "I was able to override you long enough to get out of your grip... What makes you think they'll be different?"
Will's ears twitched as he pushed himself up, now on his knees, still trembling and looking up at the man.
"STUPID MAN!" He snapped out, chuckling as he coughed up more blood and oil. "You messed up! Oh, yes! You screwed it all up!"
As the wolf laughed, what Fritz thought was nonsense, four animatronics swiftly moved around the hideout.
"Explain..."
"You allowed me to help you build those chips..."
"And?"
"And I know how betraying man is, so I toggled with them a b-bit..." He grinned, Fritz taking a step closer and raising his axe.
"WELL WHATEVER YOU DID IT'S TOO LATE!" He screamed, slamming the axe down on his head, splitting it right down the middle.
Will's eyes widened as his jaw dropped open, as oil gushed out of his throat, mixed with the blood of the child that he contained inside of him.
Gasping and twitching, he fell over and stared at him. "I-I-ITS-S-S O-O-O-OV-VE-E-R..." He said with his final breath, as his eyes clouded over.
The wolf went limp, as Fritz let go of the handle of the axe that was now lodged into the now dead animatronic.
A golden lion appeared behind him, and grabbed him by the throat. "W-WHAT?!" Fritz gasped, squirming and dropping the device as he was lifted up into the air.
"YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE UNDER MY CONTROL!"
Walking over to him, Delta growled and slashed him across the face.
"You're wrong... He connected the chips... If his went offline so would our control chips..." She scowled, lifting his head up, pushing his head up, locking her eyes with his.
"H-He's dead..." Mark whined, lowering himself to the dead wolf, tears in his eyes.
Harry stared blankly at Will's body and shook his head, turning back to Gamma and Delta.
"Where's Alpha?" He asked, his voice box obviously unfinished and garbled sounding.
"That's what we'd LOVE to know..." Delta grinned, digging her claws into Fritz's flesh softly, drawing blood.
"STOP IT!" He screamed, struggling and kicking, the robotic cat paying no heed to his struggles or pleads.
"I don't know where he went! He went off to find you guys!"
Dropping him to the floor, Delta turned back to Gamma and sighed.
"I bet we passed him and weren't even aware of it, thanks to those stupid chips..."
Gamma nodded in agreement, and glanced back down at Fritz who lay holding the gash across his face.
"What do we do with him?" He asked, glancing over at Mark who was silently crying by Will's body.
"We wait here for Alpha to return..." She said, the others nodding in agreement.
Slowly approaching Fritz, Harry grinned and grabbed a hold of him with his mangled, torn body parts.
"C-C-COME ON!" He chuckled, Gamma walking over and ripping Fritz out of Harry's grasp.
The lion growled as he walked out of the room, pacing steadily down the halls to another door.
Dust fell from it as he slowly pulled it open, the door creaking as it slid open.
Scanning across the room for a moment, Gamma hissed and threw Fritz in suddenly.
Sliding across the floor, Fritz groaned, holding his chest where Alpha had cracked his ribs.
"STAY... PUT..." Gamma hissed and slammed the door, locking it.
Spinning around to Delta and Harry who were right behind him, Gamma flicked his ears annoyed.
"Guard him... No one goes in-"
"No one come out! HA HA HA!" Harry laughed insanely.
Staring at him blankly, Gamma stared at him for a moment.
"You got the idea..." He sighed and walked off, leaving the two alone.
Leaning up against the door, Delta sighed and swished her tail back and forth.
What happened in these past couple days? How did this all even happen? She hadn't the slightest idea that there was a child inside of her.
That the life she possessed was once that of a child, that was snatched away from their family and brutally murdered.
In the room, Fritz wearily stood to his feet, holding his chest in pain as he stumbled over to a wall, ripping off some tiles and grunting as a old hidden window came into view.
"Bingo..."
Running through the woods, Alpha hugged Abigail tightly and looked up, seeing several lights zooming by in the trees ahead.
Weird sounds emitted from them as well. Staring down at Abigail, he shook his head confused, as if reading his mind, Abigail smiled and coughed a bit.
"C-Cars..." She explained, receiving a quick nod from Alpha as he walked over to the now calm road.
Opening her eyes wider, Abigail tried to gently lift her head up, but Alpha quickly shook his head.
"N-No... S-Stay still..." He whined, brushing the top of her head gently with his paw.
Glancing up, Alpha saw a car zoom by quickly, jumping back at a inhuman speed.
Looking down at Abigail, he realized his sudden actions might have caused her slight pain. "S-Sorry..." He whispered, gently kissing her forehead.
Slamming the car to a stop after they'd passed the creature, two men turned to each other panicked.
"WHAT WAS THAT?!" One of them screeched.
"IT HAD A GIRL IN IT'S ARMS!" The other one gasped, reaching over and grabbing a shot gun out of the back of his car.
Jumping out of the car, the two men stared at the creature that held the bloody girl in his arms.
"Sh-shoot it!" One whispered to another, his grey hoodie becoming soaked in the rain.
Taking aim at the creature's head, the man started to pull the trigger.
Alpha looked up and saw the gun pointed at him, and his eyes widened with fear.
Turning away, Alpha was barely able to dodge the bullet as he ran back into the woods, across the road.
Abigail's eyes were huge with fear, as she panted and started to cry in Alpha's arms.
"N-No!" He whispered to her, trying to calm her, as he gently kissed her forehead, pulling her closer to himself as he continued to run into the maze of trees.
"D-Don't cry, Abby. It'll all be okay... I promi-" The lion's eyes widened as he threw his head back, almost loosing his grip on Abigail as a bullet shot through his stomach, barely dodging Abigail as it went through him.
Coughing up oil, Alpha shook his head, trying to regain his mind as he continued to stumble into the darkness.
"ALPHA!" Abigail shrieked and sobbed as Alpha's eyes became droopy.
"N-No... Abby..." He smiled a bit, his pace becoming slower as he continued to run through the darkness. "I-I'm alright... I'm... Fine..." He grunted, opening his eyes wide and running faster.
Another gunshot echoed through the woods, this bullet going clear through his ear, blowing it off.
"A-AHH!" He growled, still continuing on.
"A-Alpha!" Abigail sobbed, clutching onto his chest fur tightly as she stared up at his eyes.
"It's..." Alpha grunted in pain, continuing on without stopping for a moment. "It'll be..." Clenching his teeth together, Alpha whined and took another step, his ears perking up as he heard another gunshot.
Holding Abigail tightly to his chest, he whined as he sobbed as the bullet hit him in the leg.
Falling to his knees, Alpha struggled to stay up, not wanting to collapse on Abigail.
"I.. Love you..." He whispered into her ear, kissing her on the forehead once more as he tried to weakly drag himself across the forest floor.
Abigail's breathing slowed as she smiled weakly, looking up at him, tears still running down her face. "I... Love you...Too..." She smiled, and fell
unconscious in his arms.
Grunting and continuing to drag himself across the ground, Alpha hissed as the two men caught up to them, and kicked him over.
"Get the girl!" The man screamed who was now trying to pin Alpha down, but to no avail.
Alpha sliced at the man's leg, tearing it open. Screaming in pain, the man stumbled backwards and held it tightly in pain.
Pulling her close to him, Alpha hissed and swatted at the men as one of them grabbed the gun off the ground and held it to his face, pulling the trigger.
Alpha's eyes widened as the bullet went through his eye, and he fell to the hard cold ground.
Loosening his grip on Abby, Alpha whined as the men slipped Abigail out of his grasp, and ran off with her.
"A-A-A-Ab-b-by-y-y-y..." He whined, as his eyes clouded over, and his breathing ceased.
The two men jumped back into their red truck and drove off.
One of them held Abigail in his arms, panicking as her breathing was becoming more raspy.
"She's not going to hold up long!" He panted, holding onto his bleeding leg. "Hurry and get her to the hospital... We'll come back for that thing's corpse later..."
