Hi everyone! It's moonrose221 back with chapter 16. Now for the sake of the story line it's been a month since the defeat of Kazu's evil ranger form. Davis took out Duskmon so I thought who is an evil digimon alligned with tainted darkness? The answer Velgemon. Now todays trivia is something I found out recently. Before it was confirmed on screen, the actor for Koda the current blue ranger said his character was frozen in an iceberg. The blue energem helped save his life. This will be the last chapter with the Black Gear opening. Enough of my rambling. Onto the chapter.
In a world full of strife
Takato is seen playing soccer with Davis. Their ranger forms are shown on a split screen.

T.k. and Kenta are lifting wieghts in the labs training bay. Their ranger forms are shown on a split screen.

Chapter 16: Crystal Matrix Part 1: The Power and A Ranger Revived
It had been a month since Kazu was freed from Daemon's control. Dana went to check in on him like she did every morning. Kazu groaned and sat up. "Where am I?" He asked very dizzy. Dana replies, "You are at the Light Speed Rescue Aqua Base Medical Center. Can you remember anything?" Kazu said, "Parts of certian things. But most of it not really." Dana starts giving him a full check up. She has him stay at the hospital another full week before he is released.
A week later Kazu is walking down the street. He is avoiding the others because while he can't remember much too about the time he was the Black Gear Andro Ranger. Kazu can remember the fact he was hurting his friends the entire time. He fealt like a pile of crap for doing so. Even though a part of him argued that it wasn't his fault.
At the lab under the Motomiya/Stewart residence Izzy and Jun are both looking over some scans of an energy source heading their way. Henry walks in and says, "What are you two doing?" Izzy replies, "There seems to be a mysterious power source heading to Earth." Jun nods before saying, "From the energy waves it's similar to the Zeo Crystal." Henry nods noting the immensely familiar feel of the power source.
Kazu is stopped by Kenta. "Kazu what's going on? Your avoiding everyone like the plague. Spill it Shioda." Kazu says, "I might not remember everything from when I was under Daemon's control. But if there's one thing that I do remember. It's the fact I was hurting you guys the whole time. You shouldn't be so quick to forgive me for that." Kenta does the last thing anyone would ever believe. He punches Kazu in the face. "We forgive you because It was Daemon's fault it happened Kazu. Not yours. He used you to do all that shit!"
The rangers communicators go off. Kazu looks around and says, "Your good. Go save the world." The others teleport off. Kazu sighs, "Will I ever have the chance to do some good after all I did?" He dissappears in a flash of white light.
The rangers are hardpressed fighting a small army of creatures who call themselves the Bagra Bandits. They were all that was left of the Bagra Army. Even though they have Justin, Henry, Jun, and Cyan on their side. The rangers all admit they may have finally met their match.
Kazu wakes up in what he thinks is a jungle. He walks through it and sees an old temple. In front is a man in his mid to late twenties. He's wearing a silver jacket with blue sleeves and a woman in a white dress. Behind them is a boy who looks to be about sixteen years old. As well as an elderly man. The woman in the white dress speaks up, "Welcome friend. I am Princess Shayla. And this is the Animarium. My companions are Merrick Baliton." The man in the silver jacket waves. "Animus." The sixteen year old boy gives him a brief nod. "And Zordon."
Zordon gives him a warm smile. "You were not the first to be controlled by an evil spirit. Merrick had been as well." Merrick says, "Follow us." Kazu is led through the temple. Arriving at a pool of water he sees his friends in a battle they couldn't win. "No. I have to help them!" Marrick said, "You can't. Don't you remember, your black gear morpher was destroyed." Kazu screams, "I don't care! My friends didn't give up trying to save me! I won't give up trying to save them!"
Determination was burning bright in his eyes. Merrick grinned as he pulls out what looks like the Magna Defenders morpher only in silver and white. He hands the two pieces to Kazu "This is the Crystal Matrix Morpher. You want to help your friends. Then use it. And let the memories of your time of being under Daemon's control remind you of what your fighting for." Zordon says as Kazu is teleported away, "Good luck Kazu. And may the Power protect you."
In the Digital World the rangers are all de-morphed and just when Tactimon gets in close to Takato for the final blow. Kazu appears and grabs his wrist. "YOU!?" Kazu kicks Tactimon's sword from his hand and knocks him back with a powerful round house kick. In the exact same manner as Mike Corbett, Kazu activates his morpher. "Matrix Overdrive Charge!"
Morph sequence:
A white crystal encases Kazu. The shadows of Andromon, Shoutmon, and Calumon pass over the crystal as it shaters. Kazu is in a mostly white suit. His helmet snaps into place as the shadows of the three digimon all appear behind him.
End morph
"Eternal warrior..Matrix Digital Ranger!" The others look stunned. Where did he get new ranger powers? Kazu drew his Matrix saber.
( Battle theme. Power Rangers Dino Charge theme)

Kazu charges Tactimon and engages him in battle with his Matrix Saber.
We must fight to survive
Tactimon attempts to knock the Matrix Ranger down but to no avail.
There is only one chance
Kazu brings out the Trinity buster. And Launches a barrage of lasers at Tactimon.
To take the right stance
Tactimon goes in for close quarters combat but is severly out matched.
Hold tight keep our power alive
Kazu back flips away from Tactimon's attack and nails him with the Trinity Burst Barrage.
Go go Power Rangers
Tactimon is flung through several trees before being found in a twenty foot deep crator.
Don't you ever stop
Tactimon charges with his sword but each blow is parried by kazu with his Matrix Saber.
Go go Power Rangers
Kazu hits Tactimon with a massive slew of punches and kicks before he is forced back from the other rangers.
You will rise up to the top
Kazu performs an arial spin kick knocking Tactiomon into the air.
Rangers forever
Tactimon is hit several times by Kazu before landing on the ground.
Dino Charge! All together
Tactimon falls to the ground and is close to disolving into data.
Power Rangers, Power Rangers, Power Rangers, Power Rangers
Kazu goes in for the final Blow. "Matrix Saber. Accelerator Strike!" Tactimon explodes into data particles as the attack connects.
Power Rangers Dino Charge!
"Power Down."
(End Battle)
Back at the command center Kazu tells the others about what happened. The others save for Cyan are shocked silent. She shrugs, "It's the Power. What it wants it gets. Plus didn't some of the rangers gaining their powers back happen in a very similar manner?" Jun says, "I can't fault your logic Cyan. Well Kazu, welcome to the team." Kazu walks home with Kenta after being told the rules and being given a wrist communicator. Kenta says, "Thanks for the save Kazu. And welcome back bro. I'm glad your doing better."
Kazu is silent for a moment but says, "I'm glad to be back Kenta. Really glad."
