John made his way down the bleachers and scanned rows until he saw her in the third row. Joss had invited him out to hang out with her and come watch Taylor's baseball game.
So here he was at the field Taylor's school was playing at. He made his way down the aisle and sat down next to her.
She turned her head smiled at him and moved closer, they both turned their attention back to the game.
John squinted his eyes as he watched the game silently cursing the fact that he didn't bring a hat or sunglasses. When he heard a chuckle he turned his attention back on Joss.
"What's so funny Joss?" John asked
"Oh nothing dear, just taking care of you." Joss replied as she opened up her bag and pulled out a baseball hat. She pulled his head down kissed him on the cheek and put the baseball cap on his head.
John cleared his throat and faced forward as he felt himself blushing. He secured the baseball cap on his head. After a moment he grabbed Joss's hand as she leaned on his shoulder.
He let a goofy smile play across his face as they turned their focus back on Taylor's game. For some reason he felt like his day just got brighter and it had nothing to do with the sun.
