She didn't know where she was in the building but the endless corridors were getting tedious.

Suddenly she heard a noise from the end of the corridor she was creeping down. She saw a sight she was thankful to see. Ward.

But he was fighting a guard that had appeared out of nowhere.

She saw the little red dot appear on the back of his head. He had no idea so she set off running. It didn't matter to her if she got hurt. She just had to save him. When she got close enough she launched herself at him, at the same time the gun went off. She thought that they would hit the wall which would stop their momentum, but it was another hidden door.

The two of them found themselves at the top of a narrow staircase, which, because their balance was off they fell down, their bodies hitting each and every step on the way down.

Ward knew it was Skye the second she had touched him, so he went with it. He also tried to manipulate his body so that he landed on each step and she landed on him. When they got to the bottom however Skye landed on the floor and Ward landed, rather awkwardly on top of her. They were both dazed, but he knew that the guard he was fighting would be coming after them. All he could do was hope that Tilly made it safely in the opposite direction.

He did not expect what happened next.

"Oh. My. God! Are you two alright?" Tilly asked as she bounded down the stairs three at a time, speaking each word as she landed on a step, arms flailing in the air (for someone so talented she lacked grace and finese).

"Tilly." Ward was still slightly dazed and tangled up in the limbs of Skye, who was also shaking herself out of the daze. He tried to get up, while helping Skye to her feet. They needed to get to safety.

"Hey. Take it easy. That was some fall."

"They'll be coming after us."

"Those losers? They are currently tied together behind a hidden door." She informed him as she helped untangle him from Skye and dragged him upright. Skye tried to scramble up too but the second she put her hands on the floor to push herself up she let out a whimper of pain.

"What's wrong?" Ward asked, concerned, dropping to his knees to inspect her injuries.

"My shoulder." She said through gritted teeth.

Skye indicated that her right shoulder was hurt, so Ward placed his arm under left shoulder and around her waist and hauled her to her feet. He moved her arm around and watched how badly she winced and when.

"You attached to this shirt?" he asked her, pulling a flick knife out of his back pocket.

"Hey! That's mine!" Tilly objected.

"Shut up and keep an eye out for guards."

"No. I got this shirt when I needed a change of clothes. It was literally the only thing that fit me in the shop. It's comfy though."

"Good job."

"What are you going to do?"

Ward used the knife to cut the bottom off Skye's shirt. He then tied the strip of fabric around her wrist and tied it off behind her neck in a sling. The pain subsided a little.

"Right. Let's get out of here. Tilly, help Skye."

"Coulson. We have Skye. Heading to the rendevouz."

"We have located the packages and are about to collect. We will meet you there."

Ward, Skye and Tilly set off out of the house and towards the beach boundary laser grid. By the time they got there, Coulson and May were waiting with two large packages.

"You took your time." May jibed.

"We were hampered by a tumble down the stairs." Ward retorted.

Coulson noticed the sling keeping Skye's shoulder immobile.

"You ok?"

"Better than my last run in with Quinn's thugs." She admitted.

"Ok. So here's what's going to happen. Skye, you are going to have to punch the code into that keypad, you then have thirty seconds to cross over. May and I managed to get these two here but it's going to take longer than thirty seconds so, Ward, you and I are going to take the gravitonium, Tilly you and May get the Eridine."

They placed the two packages just by the side of the laser fence. Skye walked over to the keypad.

"So when we get to three we lift and Skye types in the code. One, Two, Three..."

That's when the bullets started flying. Ward and Coulson lifted the Gravitonium, May and Tilly the Eridine and Skye quickly typed in the code Coulson was shouting at her. The laser fence deactivated and all five of them crossed over. The bullets that were still flying at them were now being disintegrated by the fence.

They made their way back to the boat and headed to the others on the 'bus.

When they got there, there was a S.H.I.E.L.D team waiting to take possession of both packages and ship them directly to the Fridge.

They had a surprise waiting for them on the bus. It was a note from Director Fury:
