"You have a fracture to your acromioclavicular joint" Simmons told Skye as she examined her shoulder.

"I have a what?"

"You've broken your shoulder." Tilly translated.

"Great. So what are we going to do for our week off?"

Tilly looked at Ward, eyebrows raised.

"You know it's beautiful this time of year."

"Check the weather."

Tilly pulled out her phone and googled the weather.

"According to this it's supposed to be blue skies for the next few weeks."

"Let's do it."

It was late afternoon when Ward pulled up the SUV outside the house. He has lost Tilly, who was driving the other one somewhere on the motorway. He didn't have a key so they waited for Tilly to arrive. She arrived twenty minutes later

"You know there are speed limits for a reason?" She asked Ward as she got out of the car.

"Meh! Got your keys?"

"Erm... nope. Didn't you bring yours?"

"No. Left them at the Hub."

"Mine are inside."

"So if neither of you have keys how do we get inside?" Amber asked.

"Like this." Tilly said as she approached the door. She turned the handle with one hand, banged a couple of times on the top of the door, once by the hinges in the middle and finished off with a swift kick at the bottom. The door swung wide open.

"I've been telling you for years this lock is broken." She said, turning to face Ward.

Suddenly they heard a noise coming from the kitchen. Ward made a motion that told everyone to stay put. He crept through the hallway and drew his gun.

"Sue?" He exclaimed as he burst through the door, gun raised, dropping it quickly onto the floor with a clatter and kicking it out in the hall to Tilly (who dismantled it and quickly shoved it in a drawer in the hallway). "What are you doing here?"

"Our kitchen is being redone, so Tilly said we could use yours. I'm only making a cup of tea."

Ward peered around the door for confirmation of this.

"So I take it you are not a banker?" the mysterious Sue continued.

"Why would you say that?" Ward asked.

"For starters, you pointed a gun at my head, in England. For seconds, you look like you have been through Hell." She responded, pointing at the cuts on his face with her teaspoon.

"Hold on." Ward told her, feeling one of the familiar lectures starting. It was better to get it over with.

"I will show you guys where you can sleep." Tilly told the others.

She showed them to the upstairs of the house.

"May and Simmons, you two can sleep in Nat's room. She shouldn't be back for a while. Skye, I'm assuming you remember where you are going to be sleeping. Coulson, Fitz. You two can have the spare room which means Amber and Kain will be on the sofa's for the week, but Amber can keep her stuff in the girl's room and Kain in the boys." She said, pointing at each room as she told them all where they were going to be.

She left them to all get settled in and went to the kitchen.

"So you're a S.H.I.E.L.D agent?"

"Yes Sue. I couldn't tell you because what I was doing for the last 15 years could have got me killed for sneezing the wrong way."

"And what about your sister?"

"Did someone mention me?" Tilly asked, walking through the door. She always did have perfect timing.

"What have you done to your hair?" Sue cried, when she noticed that Tilly had gone from brunette to a blonde.

"Drunk night in a Russian hotel room?" Tilly suggested.

"Where are the others?" Ward asked her.

"Settling into their rooms."

Sue had moved towards Tilly and had started running strands of her hair through her fingers.

"We will have to sort this out." She said, guiding Tilly to a bar stool. "Stay there." She ordered, heading to the back door. "You too. I haven't finished with you yet young man." She added, looking towards Ward.

A ten minutes later the rest of the team, minus Skye, came into the kitchen.

"So that scary woman is?" Coulson asked.

"Neighbour, has been for years. She's a hairdresser and is going to sort out Tilly's hair when she gets back."

"You're getting your hair done?" Simmons asked, jealous. "I haven't had mine done at all so far this year."

"Well I will just have to do yours too." Sue said from the doorway. "Let me just cover Tilly's hair with this and I will do yours."

"Why don't you guys make yourself at home? This could take a while." Ward told them.

Coulson went to the library to see what books Ward and Romanov owned, May went to scope out the grounds, Kain went to shower, Fitz and Simmons sat together on a couple of the kitchen bar stools talking in hushed voices, Amber went for a nap.

Sue mixed the dye mixture for Tilly's hair and started applying it.

"It still applies you know, in fact more so." Sue lectured Ward.

"What does?" he asked, even though he was pretty sure he already knew the answer.

"You're never going to find a woman, settle down or even start a family if you are never in one place long enough."

Ward groaned. It was exactly what he was expecting.

It was that moment Skye chose to enter the kitchen. She walked up to Ward and leaned in close to his ear.

"Where do you keep the painkillers?" She asked.

"Come on, I'll show you." He said, relieved that he could get away from Sue's lecture for a few minutes. He led Skye out of the room and up the stairs.

"And who was that?" Sue asked, eyeing Skye's retreating form.

"That's Skye." Simmons told her.

"She's his fiance." Tilly told her, before anyone else could elaborate.
