Her arm ached. She was sore all over. She woke up alone, in bed, with no Miranda in sight.

She couldn't help but sigh. Her shoulders burned she almost forgot what it was like being hit into a wall, and up the stairs.

That's why she preferred silent killing, where no one will see you coming. She was an Agent who would work undercover, not in the field.

She walked to the table when Miranda sat yesterday writing repot to TIMY. Her eyes narrowed at the terminal and her hands twitched. 'Just what are you planning?' She clenched her fist her eyes staring hard at the terminal, like it would tell her just what she wanted to know.

She shook her head and walked out of Miranda's room.

She walked through the armory doors and saw Jacob looking over the sniper rifle.

"Still at work I see?"

Bellona walked to her locker and opened it, took the armor form it to upgrade it. She saw from corner of her eye Jacob smirking at her.

"Shouldn't you be?"

Bellona snorted and went to the desk, to fill her suit with medigel that was lacking.

"I am. Where is Miranda?"

Bellona asked without turning away from her work. Jacob looked at her and walked closer to her side, giving her one of medigel which she took, nodding her thanks.

"She and Commander went for the Doctor." Jacob opened his Omni-tool and recited a few reading from it.

Bellona chuckled to herself as she remember her own meeting with the Doctor, she felt like her brain would explode with the way he talked. She did warn Miranda about him. Hope she took my advice to heart and plugs her ears when she talks to him. Or more like Shepard going to talk and while she listens.

"I hope she took my advice to heart then." She said mostly to herself, but Jacob was standing close and heard her. She took her armor and put it in her locker when she was done.

"What do you mean?" He asked, going back looking at the rifle. Bellona took one of the pistols and went back to her workbench to upgrade it.

"Let's just say I got the pleasure of meeting him personally, when I was on Omega. I still feel the echoes of a headache he left behind."

Jacob snorted and shook his head.

"So how is our new member doing?" Bellona asked him, still working on her pistol.

"Well, we did all we could for him, but he will have a scar for the rest of his life. Did you meet him when you were on Omega?" Jacob asked without turning from his work.

"I heard about him, but didn't get the pleasure of meeting him, the last time I saw him, he and his squad were killing the Blue suns." Bellona still remembers the encounter with them, when she got the bruises from the fight she had to take with the Blue suns. Her back still aches.

"He sure managed to piss them off huh?" Jacob said, turning to her.

Bellona couldn't help but smirk. "Well, Turians are one hell of bastards to take down…"

"True."

"And he did get a rocket right in his face…"

"Lucky bastard…"

Bellona walked out of the armory as she had finished her work on some of the guns. She was hungry and though of taking a break. She walked thought the door that leads to the Mass Hall.

And saw Zaeed walking her way, she couldn't help but snarl at him as they passed each other. Zaeed turned around and crossed his arm as he asked.

"Got a problem Agent?"

Bellona narrowed her eyes as she took a deep breath to calm her temper down.

"Just a question. How much?"

Zaeed raised his eyebrow at her.

"If you want to say something then says it."

Bellona crossed her arms against her chest. She looked him right in the eyes and asked with a serious voice. "No I'm just wondering, what did your mother's face look like when you sold her?"

"What are you implying brat?" There was warning in Zaeed voice.

"Nothing. I just hate Mercenaries that are aboard this ship." Bellona's voice held a cold edge in it, her face hard as a rock.

"Let me tell you something sweetheart. If Illusive Man didn't pay me for this mission, I won't even be here. You got a problem, go to him. I'm just a hired gun."

Bellona leaned closer to him and whispered in his ear. "I don't trust Illusive Men, or you. You could sell your own mother if he pays you enough credits. You are nothing more but a scum. If you try anything, I'll put a bullet between your eyes. And I won't miss, like Vido did. Sweetheart."

She turned and walked away, before turning her head, "Oh if I find out your camera anywhere near bathroom or Miranda's office, I'll shove it right through your ass." With those words she left.

Bellona walked up to Kelly, who smiled cheerfully at her. "Agent, how are you?"

Bellona shrugged. "As well as I can be. Is Commander still on Omega?"

Kelly looked at her console and nodded her head. "Yup." Bellona nodded her head, and walked toward exit of the ship.

"I need to get some stuff from my apartment, so if anyone asks where I am, tell them to call me."

Walking though the apartment sector on Omega, Bellona couldn't help but take notice of to many Vorcha around. Damn, they sure pop up fast. I know its Omega but still…

Opening the doors to her apartment she heard beeping of incoming massage.

E: Hey, handsome, you busy?

B: Hey, not really. Why?

E: Just wondering, I wonder if you want to meet. Have a drink with me?

B: Sure, I would like that.

E: Great. After Life?

B: Sure, the same place we meet?

E: Yes! And what meeting it was!

B: True. Glad I made an impression on you. : )

E: You sure did. I couldn't walk straight for weeks.

B: But it was worth it wasn't it?

E: Oh, yes!

B: So, After Life, same place, let say in two hours?

E: Yes! Can't wait.

B: Me too. See ya.

E: Cya.

Bellona could help but smile, maybe she will get lucky today, and get a girlfriend after all. Make Miranda jealous perhaps? Nah, she not interested in me anyway. Yes. She isn't. All she cares about now is how to please TIMY and protect her sister. She acts so cold and distant from me. Sometimes it feels like she doesn't trust me any longer. When we were young, everything was easy. Now…Just where do I stand with Miranda? What am I to you?

Bellona could feel anger crawling back with vengeance. No, no more, When we leave this place, I will talk to her, and get answers from her, whatever she likes it or not.
