It didn't take that long to get to the police station. After and hour or so we managed to bail both Sean and Eddy. We were waiting for them outside looking at each other not knowing what to expect Pam told me on the way why Eddy organized this whole thing, about how he found out who Emily was and that Sean knew and didn't tell him. Honestly I didn't expect that Eddy could do this especially to Sean, they were brothers.. At least I thought they were.
After what felt like forever I saw both of them walking out with Ricky and gripped Pam's hand knowing Eddy wasn't gonna let what happen go. And yeah you could the argument going on while they were walking over to us.
"We've been disqualified" Pam informed when they reached us.
"That's impossible, we got the hits" Eddy answered looking at us in disbelief.
"Well I got an email from the headquarters office this morning. They don't want to be associated with criminal activities" Jason came into the conversation. Eddy shook his head.
"That's bullshit" he denied starting to get annoyed.
"And Anderson pressing charges, were out" Jason finished leaving no room for argument. Not that there was much to argue with anyway at this point.
"Guess we both got thought a lesson huh?" Sean added sarcastically looking at Eddy, dammit Sean as if Eddy wasn't mad enough.
"Screw them. And screw you too man" Eddy answered looking at us and them at Sean. This wasn't gonna end well.
"Too late Eddy, you already screwed everyone" Sean answered back with a fake chuckle.
"What did you think was gonna happen Sean? That the old man would give you his blessing? And you'll go live happily ever after with his little princess?" Eddy said bluntly looking at Sean that was too low even for him, I shook my head not believing this was actually happening.
"You know what? I can't believe after everything we've been through you'd pick that lying bitch over me".
Sean who was walking away with his back to us stopped after what Eddy said, Eddy went too far this time.. And before Jason managed to grab Eddy Sean turned around and punched him making him fall to the ground.
"I was the one who told her to keep quiet about her father, because I knew, I knew that you were to stubborn to get pass it. You might think a lot of things about her but she'd never do that to someone" Sean stated referring to what happened after Ricky managed to push him back he only shook his head and added "I quit" before walking away and not looking back.
"Get off me man" Eddy got out angrily before pushing Jason and Iris who were trying to help him up and got up also walking away from us.
"What just happened?" I finally asked stammering glancing at everyone.
"Stubbornness Chika, now let's get you back home to Luke" Ricky answered putting his hand around me leading me back to his car with the others following us.
When I got to the apartment Luke was sitting on the couch waiting for me, he looked over but didn't say anything guess my face gave it away. I quietly walked over and sat next to him not saying anything he cuddled into my side and turned back watching T.V I was still trying to process everything that happened and honestly the more I thought about it the shock turned to anger. How could Eddy do this? I got off the couch apologizing to Luke who was using me as a pillow and walked over to the kitchen and got out my phone from my pocket and called him hoping he would answer.
After a few rings it looked like he wasn't going too just as I was going to hang up he answered the phone.
"I don't want to talk right now Beth". Like I wouldn't know that genius.
"Than don't talk just listen please, I had no idea he would do this, he was keeping me out the entire time. You gotta believe me Sean you know I would never do that to you I know how much you care about Emily" I pleaded sitting in one of the chairs releasing a sad sigh.
"I believe you it's just.. I never thought he could do this you know?".
"Yeah you and me both Sean, your my best friend. What are you gonna do now?" I asked picking on the tip of my shirt.
"Don't know, my sister gave something about a job maybe I'll look into it. What about you?" he asked.
"Well I think I'm gonna move back into my old place with Luke I just don't think I could live with him after what happened you know? And we'll after that." I replied letting go off my shirt.
"Beth, you don't have to that because of me" Sean started to argue
"It's not that Sean were best friend since forever I don't think I can forgive him for what he did to you, and that he did without thinking how it would hurt us, I just can't be with him right now" I cut him off explaining. When I looked up I saw Luke standing at the entrance of the kitchen looking at me with his doe eyes realizing he heard everything.
"I'll call you later, I have to make dinner for Luke" I said standing up "Bye Beth" Sean parted and I hanged up.
"We're not staying at our old place are we?" Luke stated already knowing the answer. "Luke…" I paused not knowing what to say to somehow fix this. "It's ok. I understand I'll go pack" he answered starting to walk to his room before pausing "You're coming with me right?" he asked turning around "of course I am, I'm not leaving you Speedy" he didn't say anything just walked over pulling me into a hug that I gladly returned and tighter we walked to his room and started packing.
