It's been a week. Both me and Luke were gone by the time Eddy got home, we moved back into my old place and surprise we were being evicted so we didn't unpack completely, I finally called my dad who was more than happy to let us in until I could get back on my feet financially, unfortunately he told me he and his very pregnant wife relocated to New York, yeah. Luke wasn't thrilled about the whole thing but didn't complain after I explained everything. As for Eddy I was still ignoring his calls and picked out my things from Ricky who only let me take them after I told him why, of course he tried to make me stay but I declined before saying goodbye to him which was very hard, he was like a father to me after all. I talked to Sean everyday, he also said I shouldn't leave, Miami was home he said. I knew, which made it even harder to leave, but I couldn't afford another apartment and pay for Luke's school together.
"He lied to me Ricky" Eddy stated looking at the river releasing a sigh of frustration.
"Your young, you acted without thinking about the consequences of your actions. You see both of had that special someone and I think that you know that now don't you? And now you both lost them. Go make it right will you? Please" Ricky pleaded looking at Eddy who in return absorbed his word looking at the river thoughtfully.
"She's leaving you know?" Ricky added.
"What do you mean?" Eddy asked his frown deepening.
"Moving. Beth and little Speedy. Both of them with her father. To New York she said. Kid wasn't too happy about it but he loves his sister too much to say anything." Ricky replied sadly remembering the look on her face when she told him that she was leaving.
"Speedy where's the duct tape?" I asked after placing the framed pictures inside the box.
"Living room" he shouted back from his room.
I sighed tiredly walking over when someone knocked on the door.
Great at this rate I was never going to finish packing. I walked over and opened the door and wished I hadn't.
"Were you even going to tell me or just wait until I found out after you were gone?" Eddy asked with his voice breaking a little.
"Look I know what I did was wrong and I regret it more than anything but please, please don't leave not like this. give me a chance to fix this because I'm not ready to give up on us. Beth you're everything I love you". He said placing his hands on the side of my face looking into my eyes.
I wanted to stay but it wasn't just him I wanted to see if I could be someone, see if my dad really changed meet his wife somehow fix our broken family.
"I love you, but it's already done" I replied grabbing his hands pulling them away from my face tearing away from his gaze which I knew would haunt me. "You should go". I added walking away from him. I heard him taking few deep breathes and the door being slammed shut and that's when I started crying throwing the stupid duct tape Suddenly I felt Like's hands wrapping around me from behind hugging me and in return I turned around hugging him back.
Jason called a few days later explaining about their plans about stopping Anderson from building but as it turned out my flight was the same say as the announcement which I explained. I guess it was fate. After Jason it was Sean than Pam and than Iris and after a few days they stopped when they realized that I wasn't coming and that I was really leaving, I dunno a little part of me hoped they would try harder and the other part of me understood that they were fighting our home, well their home now.
The weeks went by quickly and I finally finished packing everything and it was finally time to leave. Luke was already outside waiting. I stopped at the door looking one last time at out little home sighing sadly and walked outside lucking the door. I pulled Luke to my side and started walking to the side walk when I saw Ricky's car and slowed down. The car stopped and Ricky came out giving us a crocked smile "Did you really think I'd let you take a cab loca?".
I only laughed in response.
"Thanks for driving us Ricky" I thanked pulling Ricky into a hug that Luke joined making us laugh.
"Take care, both of you. Your always welcomed" he told us after the hug and with a final smile we parted.
We finally finished with all the check ups and sat down after buying some stuff to eat. We still had an hour left.
"Beth look" Luke said pointing to one of the screen and I couldn't help but smile alongside him on the screen with highlights was "The Mob saved their home and scored a deal with Nike".
I pulled Luke into a side hug "They did it" he stated proudly looking back at the screen.
After a while I checked my phone only to see that we still had half an hour before we could board the plane when I picked up my head I saw a man sitting in front of me with a little firework sticking out his backpack and nudged Luke making sure I wasn't hallucinating. He only raised his eyebrow as to say that he had no idea suddenly another man walked by also with a little firework making us follow and than another Luke grabbed my hand pulling me with him to follow them looking like a kid in Christmas. We came to a stop when we saw everyone waiting for us holding little firework and I couldn't help but smile with tears filling in my eyes.
"Did you really think that we'll let you leave?" Sean stated with his arm draped over Emily making me laugh.
Eddy walked over offering me a single white rose.
"This is your home, and like it or not we're your family and your stuck with us" he said after I took the flower frowning when I realized that there was a string tied and looked at Eddy who shrugged with a half smile and the others who only offered mischief smiles making me look at everyone suspiciously and pulled the string only to realize that it was tied to Eddy's hand.
"Ok what the hell is going on?" I finally asked looking for someone to explain but nobody did so I looked at Eddy who only smiled and knelt down on one leg only to reveal a beautiful ring and I gasped putting a hand on my lips.
"Beth, I love you. I have loved you ever since you pushed me into the river when I called Sean evil while I was mad at him" he was cut off by everyone laughing including me "You're also my best friend and I can't imagine my life without you in them. So Beth, Will you marry so I wouldn't have to deal with everyone's madness alone?" he finished looking hopefully into my eyes.
I only managed to nod my head before I managed to speak.
"Yes, I'll marry you. And I only pushed you because you said I couldn't speak to him". I answered making his blush and Sean burst out laughing he's never gonna make Eddy forget it. Eddy smiled wider and slid the ring and stood up pulling me in for a kiss making everyone fade out suddenly I got the wind knocked out of me only to realize Luke decided to join our hug
"Thank god what the hell took you so long" he said glancing at Eddy making him burst out laughing "Luke!" I gasped hearing him swear.
He only smiles and everyone soon joins our hug. Eddy was right, this moment right here. It was everything and more importantly it was home and they are my family.
"Boys breakfast!" I shouted laying the pancakes on the plate and surely enough it didn't take them long to arrive. Luke sat down quickly piling up pancakes on his plate like a mad man. Eddy followed giving me a lazy smile "Morning beautiful" he greeted walking over giving me a kiss and bent down kissing my swallow stomach "Morning peanut" and sat down next to Luke also picking a few pancakes, Suddenly I felt contractions making me hiss and felt something wet at this point Eddy was already next to me.
"Car, hospital now!" I hissed just as another contractions hit.
Eddy quickly let me to the car while Luke grabbed the keys running after us, leave it to Eddy to forget the keys just as we got to the car and helped me inside while Luke in back and got in too he pulled out his phone "Yo, it's happening" and hanged up and started the car driving to the hospital.
After many long hours our little peanut was here, Mason Sean was born. I was currently lying in my room holding Mason with Eddy who wouldn't stop gazing at us smiling when we heard the crew coming in holding balloons and everything.
Sean walked over sitting next to me on the bed while everyone gathered around looking at Mason.
"So what's his name?" Sean asked.
"Mason Sean". Eddy answered smiling proudly.
"Aw you named him after me" Sean said making us laugh.
"I'm still gonna call him peanut" Jason added making everyone nod their head laughing.
"Welcome to the family peanut" Sean murmured kissing Mason's head.
"Picture time!" Jason said handing the camera to the nurse who smiled taking the camera and snapped taking the photo.
Well little Mason welcome to your little crazy family.
