The shop assistant that had been tending to Ward and the boy's had let Ward change into his regular clothes and now had him stood on a podium while he took a variety of measurements.

They had decided on the classic black suit with a waistcoat, so Fitz was now trying on a number of suits.

Just as the assistant was trying to measure Ward's neck to waist measurement Fitz came out of the dressing area walking, well waddling like a penguin. He looked ridiculous. Ward creased over laughing. Only Fitz could make shopping fun.

The fifth suit Fitz tried on fit his body shape exactly, so they moved onto Coulson. As Coulson wore suits all of the time there was no issues finding him one.

"If you folks can bear this a little longer I could use a new suit. I think this is the perfect excuse to get one don't you think?" Rob asked.

"It's the perfect time." Coulson agreed.

"I've never owned a suit." Kain said.

Ward craned his neck to look at Kain, which he quickly realised was a bad idea as it jarred his back further whereas Rob and Coulson looked mildly horrified.

"What did you wear to graduation?" Fitz asked curiously, picking up a shoe to look at it.

"I left high school and went straight to S.H.I.E.L.D."

"Yeah, but you graduated high school, right?"

"Of course. You need to have graduated high school to join S.H.I.E.L.D, otherwise they won't take you, and before you ask again Fitz I wore my jeans."

Fitz stood shaking his head when he heard it.:

"I never graduated high school." Ward said from the corner where the assistant was still taking measurements.

Fitz dropped the shoe he was inspecting onto Coulson's foot and looked at Ward. That revelation was more shocking that Kain's confession of never owning a suit.

Rob also stared at Ward. He had always assumed Ward had had a decent education. In fact, the only person who knew the truth was Coulson.

"How come you never graduated."

"He was in Juvie." Coulson told them, earning a sly smile from Ward.

"What for?" Fitz asked.

"Why don't you tell me?" Ward suggested playfully.

"It's beautiful!" Skye said, holding a bouquet of flowers in her free hand.

"I would have never put those together in a million years!" Amber said, inspired.

"They are so pretty!" Simmons admitted.

The florist had put together a range of purple flowers, including Tulips, Cattails and Orchids, but she had offset the bouquet with a stunning example of a miniature Sunflower. The yellow provided a stark contrast of colour that broke up the mass of purple beautifully.

"It's not really my thing." Sue admitted, trying to minimise the extent to which she disliked them.

"If Skye likes them then that is all the matters." May pointed out, noticing Sue's tone. It was one her own mother had used when she had got married.

"I took a photograph for you to discuss what you like and don't like with your fiancée. There is this one and a couple others we have done in the same colour scheme for previous weddings." The florist said, handing Skye an envelope.

"Thankyou." Sue said as she started to shepherd the girl's out of the door. "I do believe that's lunch."

Skye got to the door and paused. She turned back to the florist and hugged her.

"Thankyou" she whispered to the startled woman, before catching up to the others.

"Murder?" Fitz asked as they were led to their table.

"No."

"Drug Distribution?" Kain asked, taking his seat.

"Erm... NO!"

"Armed Robbery?" Rob asked, remembering Ward's shooting accuracy.

Ward and Coulson laughed.

"What's so funny?" Simmons asked as the girl's joined them.

"We are trying to guess why Ward was put in Juvie." Fitz said before anyone could stop him. Rob was making cut throat motions behind Sue's back while Ward banged his head on the table.

"You were in Juvenile Detention?" Sue asked, rounding on Ward.

"Yes. And as a result I didn't graduate high school." Ward said, before anyone else could drop him in it.

May looked at Ward shocked. She knew he had been sent down. She didn't know what for and she didn't realise that it had prevented him from graduating.

The waiter attended their table and they placed their orders one by one.

The food soon arrived and they enjoyed a meal out while still trying to guess why Ward was inside. The more the time progressed the wilder the charges became.

Eventually they paid their bill and the two groups went their separate ways, the girls went back to the house, but the boys went back to the suit shop, before heading back. They had talked the assistant into dry cleaning the suits they had purchased that day and were now en route to pick them up.

Skye was laid on the bed when Ward entered the bedroom and put the suits into the wardrobe. She thought he hadn't seen her. The pain killer May had given her had made he feel tired and all she wanted to do was sleep, but it completely eluded her, so she looked at the flower pictures.

"You look so uncomfortable" Ward said, still facing the wardrobe.

"I am. I want to sleep but I can't."

Ward walked over to the bed and laid down on it.

"This is going to be a really bad idea." He said as he positioned his body at a 90° to Skye's.

"They way you're moving today, probably." Skye said with a chuckle.

"So what did you do today?"

"Looked at flowers." She said, handing the pictures to him.

"What are these?"

"Idea's for wedding flowers."

"Which one do you like?"

"The one with the sunflower."

"That is an unusual choice." He said, realising that this assortment was unique to Skye and that sunflowers were her favourite.

"Mhm." Skye agreed sleepily, moving into a position where she could hear his heartbeat.

She moved back because her shoulder objected to the position she wanted to be in.

Ward, noticing what Skye was trying to do manoeuvred his body so that Skye was laid on her left hand side, but still had her head on his chest to hear his heartbeat.

"I've had an idea for pranking the interns as well." She said before her eyes closed and she was fast asleep.
