Bellona did not know much about Cerberus, but she did know only one thing for sure, Miranda needed to see it with her own eyes, perhaps then she would see the true colours of Cerberus, on what they stand for. She did not forget how cold Miranda was when she talked about planting a chip in Shepard brain, not the way she justified those experiments going. Turning a blind eye on them is not a way out.
Perhaps she could ask Shepard to download the data that she would find in that facility. It's not like she could ask Miranda anyhow, since they were not in a good place right now. She did not want to make it worse then it already is.
''EDI, connect me to Shepard please.''
Shepard [comm] : What is it?
''When you go to Pragia, who are you taking with you?''
Shepard [Comm] : Miranda and Jack.
Bellona almost laughed as she pictured those two together, but she was glad that Miranda is going with her. To bad that Bellona could not be there to see it. Unfortunately her wound have not healed yet.
''That's good. Can you bring back any data that you find there?''
Shepard [Comm] : I'll see what I can do.
''Thanks.''
Shepard was sitting with Jack and Miranda in the shuttle as she finished talking on privet channel with Bellona.
''I forgot how much I hate this place!'' Jack spat, looking out of the shuttle window, she pointed out. '' See the landing pad? Has to be on the roof, or the vegetation would overgrow it in a few hours.''
EDI: Shepard, I am picking up thermal signatures everywhere, except at your landing zone.
Bellona [Comm] : Something probably distorting the sensors over there.
Miranda looked at Shepard. ''This was a secret Cerberus facility.''
Jack nodded her head. ''Yeah, they build their equipment to last. Assholes.'' Jack spat, glaring at Miranda briftly before turning to Shepard ''IT was a mistake coming back here Shepard!''
Shepard ordered calmly. ''Get a hold of yourself. It'll be okay.''
''I'm fine. Okay. Let's get on the ground. ''
As the shuttle stopped moving they all got out, before carefully going inside the facility.
''Let's just get in there and plant the bomb in my cell. I want to watch this place burn.'' Jack snarled as they moved inside. As they walked inside they saw a lot of containers around the place, Jack looked around and calmly said. ''I never saw this room. I think they brought new kids in these containers.'' Jack shook her head, '' They were messed up and starving, but alive. Usually.''
Bellona tried to connect to Shepard helmet where the camera usually are. But so far she had no luck.
''EDI can you connect my Omni tool to Shepard helmet? IS it possible for me to see what she sees?''
EDI: It is. Do you wish for me to connect you?
''I would like that. Thank you EDI'' Bellona looked at her Omni tool and as soon as she Heard Jack stop talking she saw the room they were in. Her eyes widen in horror. This is...
''Unbelievable...''
Shepard heard static in her comm before Bellona voice whispered in her ear.
Bellona [comm]: Unbelievable.
Shepard was surprised to hear Bellona voice in her ear, ''Did you see that?''
Bellona [comm] : Yes, EDI helped me connect to your helm camera, I see everything that you do.
Shepard nodded her head, ''What do you make of this?''
Bellona [comm] : I can't really say. You know my view on the Cerberus.
Shepard nodded her head as she once move looked around. IF this is what Cerberus stand for then Illusive man must answer for this.
AS they moved deeper inside the facility they could hear security terminal running one of their log.
Security Officer : The Illusive Man requested operation logs again. He's getting suspicious. When we get results, he won't care what we did. But if he knew...HE won't find out.
To Shepard it sounded like this facility went rogue, by the logs it seems that Illusive Man did not know what was going on here.
Miranda pointed out. ''Sounds like this facility went rogue'' Miranda looked down on the data she collect from the security terminal. Jack snapped at Miranda ''You'd like to think that wouldn't you? He didn't say what they were hiding from the Illusive Man.''
Miranda just moved deeper into the facility, Shepard fallow after as did Jack.
Bellona [comm] : I would not put it past TIMY to put a blind eye on them. He always knows.
Walking into a yard of some kind , she heard Jack behind her say '' I remember escaping to this room. Fighting here. I saw sunlight through the cracks in the celling. Only a half-dead guard between me and freedom. He was begging for his life.''
As they moved deeper they could hear something growing up ahead, few verrents come out behind the containers surrounding the yard, it took only a minute to put them down. With few shots to the head and once strong biotic push.
In front of Shepard there were some kind of arena, ''This looks like an arena.''
Jack nodded her head. ''That's right. They used to stage fights here. Pit me against other kids. I loved it, Only time I was ever out of my cell.''
Bellona [ comm] : I don't know if I should pity her...or respect her.
Shepard asked Jack, not really understand why they put them to fight each others. ''What were they studying?''
Jack shook her head, ''Hell if I know. Maybe that's how they got their kicks.
Bellona [ comm] : Doubtful, Who ever done this were professionals. Or sadists.
''I never understood anything that happened here.''
Shepard did not think that they did this every day? Putting fights ? '' How often did they do this?''
''I was in a cell my whole life. Sometimes they took me out and made me fight. Filled me with drugs. Other stuff.'' She crossed her arms. ''Time get funny in a cell.''
''Did other children die in these fights?''
''I was a kid, filled with drugs, I got choked when hesitated. Narcotics flooded my veins when I attacked.'' She smirked as if she could still remember the thrill those drugs give her.
Bellona [ comm] : Was she the only one who was filled with drugs? OR other kids as well?
Shepard shook her head, ''They actually rewarded you for attacking?''
Jack smiled gleefully '' I still get warm feeling during a fight.''
Shepard eyes narrowed , ''What the hell was wrong with those people?'' She spat angrily.
Jack shrugged her shoulders in 'beets me' way. ''I don't know. Doesn't matter now.''
Shepard could not stand it any longer. ''Let's keep moving.''
''Hell yes!''
Walking father in down the corridor they could see another terminal, Shepard pushed a few buttons and it come online.
Security Officer: Security Officer Zemkl. Teltin facility. The subject are out of their cells. They're tearing the place up! Subject Zero is going to get loose. I need permission to terminate- I repeat, permission to terminate! All subjects besides Zero are expendable. Keep Jack Alive.! Understood. I'll begin the-'' Jack shut down the terminal, looking more confused while angry.
''That's not right. I broke out when my guard disappeared - I started that riot''
Bellona [comm] : OR so she say, perhaps it was not even her who started it in the first place.
Shepard tried to calm down Jack '' Things might have happened that you didn't see.
''The other kids attacked me. The guards attacked me. The automated systems attacked me.'' Jack snapped at Shepard face. ''That doesn't leave lots of room for interpretation. ''
Bellona[comm] : It was chaos there, other kids wanted to escape as much as she did. Guards tried to capture Zero back, while she did not care who it was in front of her, she could have helped those kids, escape as well. But she didn't. She killed them instead. I would have attacked her too.
''She was a kid running for her life. She was afraid. ''
Bellona[comm] : Was she? Anyway Ill try to look up this Officer Zemkl , maybe ill find something useful.
''Keep me updated . ''
As they moved down the stairs they could see a dead varren on top the stairs.
Jack found this suspicious. ''This place is supposed to be empty. Who the fuck shot that varren? It's a fresh kill.''
Shepard looked over the dead varren body, the blood was still fresh, so the ones who kill those were close by. ''Keep your guard up.''
As they descend down the stairs, and went inside the room, suddenly shots were fired upon them, the squad went to the cover behind the crates as they started to shoot back, Shepard order Jack to use her biotic on the Vorcha, and Miranda took out those that were either in the air, While Shepard used her sniper to take out those on the top floor.
Jack looked at the dead vorcha at her feet. ''Why did they need the morgue? This was a small facility.''
Miranda walked closer to one of the table before putting her hand on the table. Her face show nothing of her emotions, yet her voice ware soft. ''A lot of children died here. Even then, they were a part of experiment.'' Miranda shook her head as she remembered words that Bellona tried to tell her, yet she was ignorant and stubborn to see it.
Cargo Hold: Normandy: Bellona Room.
Bellona was sitting behind her desk sorting out the files that Shepard download to her. Yet in the back of her mind the file that TIMY has send her, she just can't help but think about it. Opening up her omnitool and connecting to her privet console, she could see all the symbols and numbers that soon become words. It was a file code for project ARHIMEDES.
The little codded text that got her attention was from GUARDIAN.

Bellona bit her lip in anger, as she stare at the console on her desk. It was many years since she run away with Miranda, and Guardian did not fallow her or contracted her until now. What is ARHIMEDES Project? WHY now?
So many questions and no answers. She did not like that.
EDI: Miss ROSE, ELLUSIVE MAN is asking for you at the comm room.
Bellona eyes blinked in confusion, why did he want to see her ? HE never called for her before, only Miranda. More important why her. Again questions, and only one man who can give the answer just called in for her.
''On my way.''
