I stood there, standing proud. Alive.

"Faith! You…you're alive!" Jack shouted.

"WHAT?! HOW?!" Fontaine screamed.

I pulled out the metal plate I had under my dress, and displayed it.

"Bullet proof, bitch!" I declared as I smirked. I tossed the metal plate to the side.

"Wait to go Faith!" Clara said.

"Well, lookie here, the gang's all here! Well, Little Miss, NOW I LOOKS LIKE I CAN FINISH THE JOB!" Fontaine yelled as he charged at me. I quickly pulled out the little sister needle I was hiding behind my back and stabbed Fontaine, draining some of his ADAM, "GAHHHHGHGHAHHGAHAGHhagah…!" Fontaine screamed. I threw the needle over to Jack and Clara. Jack picked it up and ran up behind Fontaine and stabbed him again. Fontaine exclaiming in agony each time. Fontaine charged at Jack. Jack passed the needle to Clara. She jumped onto Fontaine's back and stabbed him. He threw her against a wall. She fell to the floor unconscious.

"CLARA!" Jack and I yelled in unison. The needle flew through the air and landed on the opposite side of the room. We all stared at the needle. Whoever got the needle next had the power. Jack and I looked at each other then at Fontaine. And so began the race. We all darted towards the syringe. I ran ahead, Fontaine behind me, Jack behind him. I grabbed the needle and turned around. Before I knew it Fontaine slapped the needle out of my hand and knocked me to the floor with brute force. The needle slid across the floor. As Jack tried to grab it, Fontaine knocked Jack to the other side.

"I had you BUILT! I sent you topside! I called you back, showed you what you was, what you was capable of! Even that life you THOUGHT you had, that was something I DREAMED UP, and TATTOOED INSIDE YOUR HEAD! Now if you don't call that FAMILY! I DON'T KNOW WHAT IS!" Fontaine screamed. Suddenly, rescued little sisters came out of the hidey holes.

"KILL HIM! KILL THE BAD MAN!" They yelled.

"AND NOW-AGH!"

The little sisters ambushed Fontaine and stabbed him repeatedly. They drained every last bit of ADAM in Fontaine's body. Fontaine screamed as the needles penetrated his skin. He desoerately tried to shake the little girls off of him, but their little hands would not let go. He coughed and gagged for his life and then fell to the floor. Dead.

Jack, Clara, and I stood up. We looked at each other and smiled, knowing the final battle was over, and we were victorious. We hugged each other tightly, drinking in the friendship that we had rebuilt and cherished. We looked upon the corpse of Fontaine. The little girls stood around him. Smiling and high-fiving each other, for they had stopped Fontaine when we couldn't. One turned around and faced the three of us. She slowly walked towards us, and Jack met her halfway. In her hand was Fontaine's genetic key to the city. The key that meant Rapture was officially yours to control. She reached out to give the key to Jack and he reached out to her. As his hand approached hers she flinched slightly, still afraid of the world around her and the strangers that inhabited it. Jack crouched down to her level, and slowly reached his hand out again, letting the little girl know that there was nothing to fear any longer. She smiled and handed the key to Jack. He held the little girl's hand and smiled. He stood up, key in hand, and walked over towards me and Clara.

"So what now?" Jack chuckled.

"Now. Ve can go home."

"Mrs. Tenenbaum!" I exclaimed.

"Yes. Now ve can return to zhe surface." Mrs. Tenenbaum waved her hand to a Bathysphere sitting in the station. She walked towards it, and motioned for us to follow. We all got about halfway then Jack stopped and turned around. The little sisters were there watching us.

"We have to take them with us." Jack said. We were all surprised at his remark. I looked at Clara and Mrs. Tenenbaum.

"He's right." Clara said.

"Come here, mein children!" Tenenbaum called. The little girls smiled and skipped over to the bathysphere. We all loaded into the sub and set off up to the surface. We floated up and up and up. We all stared out the window, and gazed down upon the fading city of Rapture. I couldn't help but smile, knowing that it was now a distant memory. As we surfaced above the water, we opened the door and stepped onto the steps of the lighthouse, the sun shining ever so brightly. The little girls had to shield their eyes as they adjusted to the new light that they had never seen. As we all looked upon the beauty that was the sun, I think we all knew that this was the start of a new life.
