He's Just My Everything
Pushing Through
~Erica's P.O.V.~
It took a minute for Ethan to pull out.
The whole time, his body was straining so much it was trembling, and his just sat there for a minute allowing himself to calm down. But the longer he stayed, the more his eyes glowed, the more he trembled, the more it hurt.
But eventually, he pushed in venom. I felt it run through my system, freezing and burning both at once.
"Ah!" I cried and Ethan growled lowly, backing away.
I was vaguely aware of Benny saying something under his breath, before a whooshing sound, then more silence. I wasn't sure who left, but I couldn't open my eyes to check. My breath came out as an inhuman cry, and in as slowly as possible.
"It's okay, Erica." Said Ethan, lowly and curtly. He sounded far away. I knew he was holding his breath. "Calm down. The more you struggle, the worse it'll hurt. And it'll take longer."
I opened my mouth to thank him for the advice, but all I could manage was a moan of pain.
"It's alright." He whispered. "I wish I could touch you, but, I shouldn't . . ." It occured to me he probably was far away. "Just, give me a minute, and I'll try to get you to my house."
I waited, silently counting the seconds. 362 seconds later, I felt him scoop me into his arms and flash. 11 seconds after that, he stopped and told me he was in his room.
I didn't bother counting seconds after that, but I waited.
~3rd Person's P.O.V.~
Sarah stopped at Benny's house and put him down. Both were pale faced and unsure what to say.
"Well, um . . . thanks. For saving me earlier." Sarah said quietly.
"Thanks for the kiss." He said with a small grin.
Sarah sighed. "What a day, huh?"
"Seriously." Benny muttered. Both stood in silence after that.
"Well, I should probably get going then." Sarah said, itching the back of her head.
"Wait!" Benny said quickly, then blushed. "Um, I mean . . . please." Sarah relaxed her muscles, showing him she would stay put. "I'm not a liar. And I told him we had plans. So . . . would you, wanna stay for dinner? Maybe a movie after that?" Sarah stood still, weighing outcomes.
If she went home, she was likely to find Jesse waiting for her. If she stayed, the tomorrow Benny could be a target to Jesse. Sarah didn't want to put him in danger, but, a night with him sounded wonderful.
"I-I mean," Benny rushed on. "you don't have to. I just thought I'd ask."
"S-"
"If you wanna go home that's alright too. I was just suggesting."
"Y-"
"I don't mean, like, suggesting that." Benny said, cheeks heating. "I meant -"
"Benny!" Sarah interrupted. Benny jumped, mouth closing. "Staying would be nice." Sarah said softly. "I could use a distraction."
Benny smiled widely. "Cool."
They walked inside, and ran into Benny's Gramma.
"Why, hello, dear. Youv'e brought a friend." She said with a raised eyebrow.
"Um, yeah. This is Sarah. And Sarah, this is my Gramma."
"Hi." Sarah said with a smile. "Nice to meet you. I hope I'm not intruding."
"Of course not." The elder insisted. "I love guests."
"Okay."
"Um, Gramma?" Benny intervined. "Is it okay if Sarah sticks around for a while tonight? We wanted to watch a movie."
"Oh? That's fine, dear. But is she staying after ten? That's Benny's bedtime, you see." She turned to Sarah, who didn't even try to surpress her giggle.
"Gramma . . ."
"Sure, Ma'am. I'll make sure Benny doesn't stay up too late." Sarah promised.
"Good, good. Are you hungry, then?"
"Um, actually, I already ate." Sarah said, tensing in the slightest.
"If you're sure, sweetie." Gramma gave them a kind smile and left the two to themselves.
"Are you gonna eat?" Sarah asked the boy.
"Honestly, I'm not hungry." Benny admitted. Sarah nodded, understanding.
"Well, then, how about that movie?"
*-.-*
They ended up putting in a comedy, and Sarah couldn't have laughed any harder if she tried. Benny, though humored beyond belief, tried to surpress his laughter to hear hers.
Afterward, it was only 8 o' clock, when Benny's Gramma went to bed.
"Now, I sleep with earplugs, but please, behave yourselves." She warned them. Benny turned bright red and Sarah laughed. They promised.
They ended up turning on Benny's iPod Shuffle in the kitchen, hooked up to speakers, and dancing like crazy.
Such songs like Shake It by Metro Station and Wuk It 'N Wuk it by Dev came on, and Sarah insisted on being the most graceful and effortless dancer, so much that Benny sat down, half embarrassed by his dancing, half amused by hers.
Then Milkshake came on. Sarah squealed and sat instantly.
"Are you done?" Benny asked, dissappointed.
"We aren't to far into our relationship that you get to see me dance the way one would to this song."
Benny laughed, then froze. "Relationship?" He questioned, hopeful.
Sarah also froze. "I - I didn't mean it like that. I mean, unless you want it to be meant like that." Sarah asked, hopeful in return.
Benny answered by kissing her. And they continued to through the whole song.
The mood was then dampened when Killer by The Ready Set popped on. Sarah pulled away, looking at the ground.
"W-We probably shouldn't, though."
"Hey, don't be like that." Benny insisted. "We'll find away. Aren't I totally worth it?" Benny asked cockily. Sarah giggled and shoved him playfully. "See, that didn't even hurt. You unconciously are careful around me. This could work."
Sarah bit her lip, and sighed. "You never formerly asked me, you know."
Benny smirked, then stood dramatically. Sarah stared at him wearily. He kneeled in front of her.
"Sarah Fox, will you do me the honor of being my beauiful girlfriend?"
Sarah stared. A few moments passed, and Benny looked wary.
"Um, Sarah?"
Sarah started laughing. She couldn't stop. Finally, she slung her arms around Benny's shoulders amd hugged him.
"You are so adorable." She said through her hysteria. "Of course I will."
Benny relaxed.
*-.-*
That night, Sarah left at 9:59, lips somehow tingling anf stomach somehow fluttering. She knew she would do anything for the boy with unmanaged hair and given bedtime.
All happy feelings left when she saw who was waiting for her at her door.
"Well, took you long enough. I hope he saved the exciting part for me." Jesse stood from his perch on the deck's railing. "So, are you gonna invite me in?"
I feel this is an appropriate place to stop. Muahaha! Forgive me? Reviews are cool, anyway! ~TrampedRose
