He's Just My Everything

The Spell Masters

~Benny's P.O.V.~

I woke up with a big smile on my face. Gramma didn't even have to come check to see if I was awake. I threw off the covers, going straight to the shower. I gotta smell good for my girl.

After I was clean and ready, I went downstairs and grabbed the toast Gramma made for me and almost made it out.

"What's got you so happy?" I turned, blushing and staring at the ground. "Is it the vampire girl from lastnight?" I glanced up, them remembered; of course she knew. She was a Earth Preistess. She knew all things supernatural.

"Y-Yes." I managed, embarrassed.

"Is she your girlfriend? Does she know about you?"

"Yes. And no."

"Hmm. I hope you know what you're getting into." She warned.

I nodded.

"In that case, it's okay. Goodbye now, dear."

I gave her a wide smile, kissing her cheek, then running off.

When I got at school, I got my books out of my locker for first class. I had it with Sarah, and I was so ready to see her. Erica and Ethan weren't here, and I assumed she was still Changing, and Ethan and waiting.

The crowd shuffled suddenly, whispering and glancing. When I turned to the door, all mirth left me instantly.

Jesse came in first. He had a dangerous look in his eye, searching. Next was Sarah, followed by Aiden and Jasmine, thena bunch of namless ones, but Rory was there, staring at a girl with hollow eyes, placid face.

But my eyes sticked to Sarah.

She limped so much I wondered if she broke her leg. She wore large clothers, and tugged at them repeatedly, trying to cover herself. I didn't miss the almost black rings around her wrists. She had on a black choker, spiked. As if a dog collar.

But her expression is what fractured my heart. Her eyes were empty, staring at the floor. Her lips were parted, but she I knew she wasn't breathing. She was broken.

She had gave up.

I didn't realize Jesse was looking for me until he found me. He pushed his way over to me until he was in my face, pushing me into my locker.

"Stay away from her, bitch. You're only making it worse for her." He growled. Sarah had made her way to us, face still lifeless, chest still.

"You're the one hurting her, prick. Iacta tua Braccae." I once swore never to use a Spell against anyone, but he was not human. He wasn't even sane. My spell worked as his pants dropped. He wasn't even fazed as he pulled them up. No one laughed, either.

"Is that all youv'e got?" He asked. He put a fist against my stomach and mumbled, "Viscera-confractio dolorem." My gut twisted, and without a sound, I collapsed. My body screamed, my voice tried.

Suddenly, a voice spoke, quiet and dull. "You promised."

"Perago." It ceased, and I could breathe. Jesse moved back to Sarah and kissed her passionately, then smirked at me. Sarah didn't react, nor did she look at me. She just stared at the ground. Jesse looked at the crowd. "Non vidisti, quod." The crowd seemed to forget what they were looking at, going about their business. Jesse gave me one more silent glance, then walked away. Sarah followed him wordlessly, without one regard for me.

Things were just getting good, too.

That's all Imma put for today. Review! ~TrampledRose
