A/N: The italics are the registrar speaking. It's just a ballache to keep typing it!

There was a knock on the door.

"Coulson, come in!" Simmons cried.

He stepped into the room and froze. Simmons and Tilly looked good in their dresses with their hair and makeup done, Skye, who was looking out of the window across the gardens, looked like herself but, propped up against the window the way she was she looked regal. She turned to face Coulson and smiled at him. It was then that it hit him how emotional he felt. He saw both Simmons and Skye as his daughters and he wasn't sure why and would never admit it but Skye was his favourite.

There was another knock on the door, which Tilly answered. It was Anabelle.

When she saw Skye she took a step back.

"Wow. You look. Wow!" she said breathlessly.

"Thanks Anabelle!"

"So here's what's going to happen. First, Tilly is going to walk down the stairs and down the aisle. When you get to the end you will turn left and stand in front of the third seat. When she is halfway down the aisle it will be your turn Jemma. Same again, but you will be on the second seat. Mr Coulson, obviously you will be escorting Skye down the aisle, the photographer will catch you walking down the stairs. When you reach the bottom, pause for a second, wait for the bridal march and then proceed down the aisle. Skye, you will stand to the left of Grant and Mr. Coulson, you will stand to the left of Skye. The registrar will ask who gives Skye away. You will say 'I do.' Emphasis more on the 'I' than the 'do'. He will nod and you will sit on the chair closest to the aisle. The registrar will then instruct you on what he wants you to do from there. When the time comes for the ring exchange Jemma, you will stand and present Grant's ring to Skye, taking her bouquet off her in exchange. At the end, Skye and Grant will leave first, Mr Coulson, you will escort Mrs. Lamb down the aisle, Jemma, you will be escorted by Leo, and Tilly you will be escorted by Mr. Lamb. Everyone understand?"

They all did, so Anabelle made sure they all had their flowers and she led them from the room. Skye stumbled a few times in her heels but she quickly got the hang of them and Coulson had to force her to slow down.

"The bride does not march." He reminded her.

"Then why is it called a bridal march?" Skye retorted, but slowed her pace.

They soon found themselves at the end of the corridor and at the top of the stairs. Anabelle stopped them and said something into her microphone. She told Tilly how to hold her flowers properly and sent her off down the stairs. When she was the correct distance away, (it felt like hours to Skye who was starting to get nervous and she didn't know why) Simmons was sent on her way. When Tilly and Simmons were stood in front of their seats Skye was given the all clear to start her walk. As she set off down the stairs she noticed that Anabelle had created an outdoor ceremony, which still managed to feature her walking down the staircase. As she and Coulson walked down the stairs the photographer snapped away. They paused when they reached the bottom so she could get a couple more shots. Then the bridal march started.

Skye took one step forward and managed to find the one part of the floor where her heel would slip from under her. She grabbed hold of Coulson, who helped correct Skye's position while Anabelle corrected her train.

"Take two deep breaths and then walk." Anabelle advised.

Skye did as she was told.

Ward saw all of the activity. The time was getting closer. The music changed from classical jazz to soft and melodic. The crowd stood and he saw Tilly walk down the aisle beaming at him and he returned it with a smile, she veered off and took her position. She was closely followed by Simmons who looked a little nervous.

Ward felt a tug on his sleeve.

"She looks beautiful." Fitz whispered into his ear.

Ward looked at his eager friend and let out a small laugh. Since he and Simmons had agreed to try a relationship they had certainly been happier.

Ward suddenly saw Fitz's jaw drop and spun around to see Skye walking, almost gliding towards him. He couldn't move. All he could do was watch her. She was more beautiful than he had ever seen her. She and Coulson reached Ward at the Gazebo and he turned to face the registrar.

"Could you all be seated?" The registrar asked the crowd. There was a scuffling of chairs as everyone retook their seats, leaving Skye, Ward, and Coulson standing.

"We are gathered here today to celebrate one of life's greatest moments, The joining of two hearts and to give recognition to the worth and beauty of love, and to add our best wishes to the words which shall unite this couple in marriage.

Should there be anyone who has cause why this couple should not be united in marriage?"
