He's Just My Everything

A Sacrifice

~Ethan's P.O.V.~

As soon as Erica was laying on the bed, I flashed out of the room, fangs dropped, and went to the living room. I sunk my fangs into the armrest of the couch. Jane stared at me wide-eyed, before standing and leaving. She returned with a bag of animal blood. I took it, grateful, and removed my fangs, inserting them instead in the bag.

"What happened to Erica?" Jane asked when I finished.

"Jasmine shot her. I turned her and brought her home. Will the smell bother you?" I asked, noticing her eyes stray toward the door.

"I can hold back." She said, but I knew she was holding her breath. I nodded, unsure.

"Alright. I'll stay out here with you for now. So, what shall we do?"

~Sarah's P.O.V.~

I laid on the couch in the mansion, keeping control of my breaths. If I didn't, agonized noises escaped me. Healing over what had happened was hard and painful, both physically and mentally.

But I was also at a peace.

Jesse threw me down on the bed, an uncontrollable cry escaping me. Not again. I thought.

"You're such a slut, Sarah. You know that?" He growled. "Knowing you're in a committed relationship, yet you still go and whore yourself around. Do I need to prove to you you can't go anywhere? I will show you."

"No!" I gasped. "I already told you we're over!"

"Bullshit!" He barked, slapping me across the face.

"Please. Don't . . . don't hurt him." I sobbed, which makes him hesistate.

"He's not who you should be concerned about." Jesse yanked my pants down.

But I did something questionable. I grabbed his cheeks and kissed him, hard. Jesse froze up as I shoved my tongue in his mouth.

I pulled back, and started speaking before he could. "I'll let you have me. I'll be whatever you want. But you have to promise me you won't hurt Benny."

Jesse thought for a moment. "You know I can only speak for myself."

"I know." I nodded somberly.

"Then I accept your proposal." I took a breath of relief, knowing Benny was that much safer. "Now, do that again."

A shudder ran through me, but a warm feeling grew in my stomach. You're safe. I thought, hoping somehow, he felt it.
